Love the clothes. They wear well and wash well. Everyone in the store is kind. I go there every time we visit the island.

This is Lily Pulitzer's cooler Hawaiian cousin. Clothes are amazing without trying that hard. Visited their shop in Maui last year and in Honolulu today. I always leave with something! Clothes for littles are adorable too!

Fantastic boutique with as you might guess, all manners tunics, dresses, jumpsuits, skirts, tops and accessories--most of them in shades of blue. So many different varieties of cerulean, seafoam, navy, turquoise ... they also have loads of accessories and other colors as well. I got one dress, reasonably priced around $70 in gorgeous mixed shades of turquoise, blue, etc. Though I'll have to somehow work on the straps, because of the batik print, I was lusting after it. The service was fantastic in that she had another store location put something on hold for me. It's convenient with an attached parking garage.

Noone else was in the store except for two employees who did not acknowledge us when we entered (last week). The filipino sales lady looked right at me, without a word, just a blank expression, kind of deer-in-headlights. It was very quiet, no music or anything. The other one (indian, according to my husband) was arranging clothing on one side, but she didn't greet us, either.Ok, so I am not a Japanese customer, but that doesn't mean you can be straight out rude to me or my husband, for that matter. I think that we left within 5 minutes. As the filipino sales lady left, she turned around to glare at my husband. My husband was like WTF was that look for?! (Side note: My husband gets disapproving looks from my peeps---yup, sad to say it, but it's true.)I am quite familiar with Made In Hawaii clothing brands like Jam's World, Iolani, & Tori Richard. In fact, I have a healthy amount of those items in my closet, as we have been visiting the islands since 2005. (My point is, this is still America, and we do shop here.) But this visit, it gave me a horrible feeling. It's one thing to get mistreated (followed my husband as if he was going to steal something) at Japanese customer-catering stores like 88 Tees, but they actually said a greeting when we walked in. Anyway, we won't be back. Here's some info: The average price for a woman's dress is $86. Sale rack (small) in the back has baby clothing, in addition to women's clothing. The coverup was cute (a few days prior to out visit, caught my eye), but I won't be shopping here.

I cannot come to Hawaii and not go to this shop. The tops I get are rayon or cotton ,they are so soft and are wash and wear, no need to Iron and beautiful colors. I just picked up 2 today ,and I am sure I will go home with a few more. Do yourself a favor and go check out this place. They also have a great helpful staff.

Stopped in on a whim after seeing some very pretty dresses. I am a plus size and have had a hard time finding dresses that fit here. The sales staff was super helpful, knew their inventory and gave me a couple of options quickly. They were also politely honest when I tried things in. I wore the dress to the luau and got a number of compliments. Highly recommend this shop.

I am very surprised to read the two reviews for Blue Ginger. I make it a special stop each year when we visit from the Mainland! And have always gotten very pleasant, helpful service! (I am not Japanese, and was dressed in sneakers tee shirt, and yogo pants)!! I always find really unique blouses and tops here, and wonderful colors!! Bought two today (About $60 each), and the sales lady, Trudy, was kind enough to hold my purchase for me until I finished my walk! Trudy was very attentive, friendly, and helpful. Blue Ginger on Lewers will continue to be on my "must shop" list!! Thank you, Trudy for making my experience in your store a pleasure!!

Having a staycation in Waikiki and noticed some cute clothing so decided to stroll in. Myself and my 3 kids were the first and only customers in the store. Employee Judy NEVER greeted us or even acknowledged us while we were in there. I had to ask her about the promotion they had going on and she answered In a way like she didn't really care. A few minutes later the lights went out. Instead of saying I'm sorry it seems our power is out and I'm going to have to ask you to leave until the power comes back on. Judy the unprofessional untrained employee told me you guys need to go you can't be in here right now. Rude Rude RUDE!!! So yes I gave her a piece of my mind because at that point it was obvious that she had some kind of opinion about me. spoke with the internet manager after and she could use some training herself. Told her I wanted to make sure the store manager or gm got my complaint so I asked her to have them call me and I said when should I be expecting their call she said I'm not sure twice!!!! Finally after aggravating me more she said I was going to say they would get back to you within 2 to 3 days. So next time say that the 1st time. I'm not sure if this is a mom and pop establishment but the lack of professionalism and service is bad. Obviously I am not the only one to experience this. There is another another review that had the same treatment. And it was another local person. This store should not base the type of service a customer receives based of their race or color of skin. I am a regular customer of hula lehua who's service is always excellent and mind you their stuff is not cheap but no matter how I look when I walk into that store I get nothing but amazing service!!!! So if you ever need beautiful island wear and want an amazing shopping experience go to HULA LEHUA at ala Moana shopping center. Walk pass this store don't even give them the chance to not service you. Unless your Japanese of course than you will probably have a different experience.
