Bliss DJ came highly recommended from both our wedding planner and a friend who hired them for her wedding, and from the very first call, we could immediately see why! Right off the bat, DJ Kevo was an absolute blast to talk with. He has those classic Hawaiʻi uncle vibes-effortlessly funny and super chill-and as a local girl now living on the mainland, talking with Kevo made me really feel like I was at home planning a party with a family friend! He really knows his stuff about weddings, and he has so many awesome ideas to liven up both your ceremony and reception.On the big day, Kevo and his team helped everything run so smoothly. The music for the ceremony was timed perfectly, and all the mics, speakers, etc. worked great. The reception program went off without a hitch, incorporating all our little personal touches and requests. And of course, the dance music choices were *chef's kiss.*If you're on the quieter side like my husband and me, we also highly recommend getting Bliss DJ's interactive emcee services and running a game or two during the reception. It was so nice to trust the burden of entertaining our guests to someone else, especially when that someone is as funny and engaging as Kevo! Our friends and family had a BLAST with the scavenger hunt game that Kevo ran during the reception, and we'll treasure the memories (and pictures) from that game for as long as we live.Thank you, Bliss DJ, for bringing so much fun to our wedding!

We got to see DJ Kev-O in action last night at our company Christmas party. We were highly impressed with his ability to work the crowd and maintain a consistent flow throughout the evening. We all had such a great time!! Lots of fun and laughs for everyone with music and dancing after. I highly recommend hiring him for your next event if you want everyone to have the best time!!

BlissDJs, specifically Kevo, was great to work with from start to finish. We spoke on the phone to discuss our music preferences and he also provided a questionnaire closer to the date that captured what we wanted and didn't want. He was laid back, flexible, and empathetic throughout the process, especially due to the ever changing COVID restrictions. Kevo was our emcee and DJ for the ceremony and reception and the timing and flow of the event was on point. We had a small party of 30 but Kevo kept the party dancing during the reception. He was very open and accommodating and executed our preferences; his style totally aligned with us and our guests. I highly recommend Kevo for upcoming weddings and events!

Kevo was THE BEST! Planning a destination wedding wasn't easy, but when we had a phone appointment with Kevo, we knew he was the one. He was so personable, he knew what questions to ask to see what services we might need, and later on provided us with a worksheet to help choose songs for ceremony and reception. He was great at reading the crowd and making accommodations for song requests and personal dance performances. Thank you Kevo!

When we got engaged, we asked our married friends for advice, and one couple told us we HAD to meet with our DJ. We live on the mainland and the only time we were going to be home was 6 months before our wedding. We attended another wedding, where Bliss DJ's were also hired and did a great job! It was a nice preview for us. A meeting 6 months prior to the wedding sounds kind of crazy, but Kevo was very accommodating and understanding. Kevo was great! He was very responsive via text and email, he was prompt, listened to all of our requests and everyone had a great time! I had a brunch/lunch reception and I was worried that it would be lame, with no dancing, but he kept the party going as if it were 10pm! My husband and I are 10 years apart, and he did a great job of mixing in songs from both of our genre's (millennial music and 80s) as well as a bunch of top 40 songs that everyone loves. We also had a very strict "do not play" list and he abided by it. What impressed me most was that I had a very specific song and time for each event--grand entrance, cake cutting, first dance, father/daughter dance, etc. I don't know what is normal, but I gave him songs and specific start time instructions. There is so much going on during the reception, that the last thing you want to think is "is the DJ ready?" before any of the events. Kevo does hundreds of weddings and it must be easy to zone out, but he was super attentive and ready with the music perfectly cued for each part of the weddingI would highly recommend hiring them!

KEVO IS THE BEST!!After our meeting with him i knew that our guests were in for a great time! Kevin sat with us and talked through our program like an absolute professional. His years of experience in the business can't be beat and his knowledge of the venue and of the industry helped make our evening absolutely perfect. Planning a wedding is so stressful, but Kevin made it easy. He just KNOWS what he's doing. His guidance and input definitely made the difference in our entire reception. Even before our ceremony, he talked with our wedding party and family and gave advice to help them through the nerves and craziness of the day. I appreciated how he stopped to take the time to connect with our guests personally. Absolutely amazing. Above and beyond the call. Kevin was our DJ, MC, and also provided the lighting for our day. His lighting set up and monogram made our room absolutely beautiful. Our monogram was simple, but it matched our simple elegant vibe perfectly. It was a showstopper and people were commenting on how stunning the room was all evening. Kevin personally edited all our dance music and made sure our program stayed on track and on time. I especially enjoyed all the small touches he gave during the program that made our wedding so personal AND FUN!! He kept our guests laughing and entertained the entire night and we couldn't have asked for someone better to take the lead on the biggest day of our lives. It's been a year since our wedding and I forgot to write this review until now. Bliss DJs/Kevin/Kevo was such a great DJ and emcee for our wedding. He had us choose the music styles we wanted for the cocktail hour and for the reception, and so I asked him to play island music e.g. reggae-style remixes of popular music and other local favorites for cocktail hour and then we gave him a list of about 20 songs to play for our reception and he figured out our taste based on that and went with it and it worked out so well. All of my guests from the Mainland and from Oahu thought he did such a great job and my local relatives asked for his name to hire him for future events as well. He was also so accommodating with our pandemic rescheduling (twice!) and was very prompt with his responses. He even let me rent and helped set up the sound system for my ceremony performer, and it went very well. I highly recommend Bliss DJs - you won't regret it!

Amazing dj/emcee services!! My husband and I saw Kevo at my friend's wedding and immediately thought of him and his team when it came time to book our entertainment services for our wedding. He was very funny and engaging with the crowd, really helped to steer the program through without running into time issues, and was able to think quickly when it came to little bloopers in the program. I left a review on Google but felt I need to also post it here so everyone can know how amazing this company is:Bliss DJ's were so amazing at my wedding! Everyone keeps telling my husband and I that we had the most fun wedding ever and we should get married more often There was no dull moment throughout the whole night all thanks to Kevo as our DJ/Emcee. He was the life of the party and so funny and did a game that got all my guest involved and they all had the time of their lives! Kevo even went above and beyond our contract and came to our rehearsal and finalized our timeline and all parties being introduced. My wedding turned out to be way more amazing than I ever thought it would be all thanks to bliss DJ's!!! I strongly recommend hiring Kevo for any party/celebration. Definitely worth every penny that you will not regret!
