Black Sheep Cream

Flavors- they only had 4, and they were nasty. They told us to go to their other location, which has 16 FlavorsCustomer service - FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. We got the flight with their only 4 Flavors and wanted the caramel or hot fudge. He said they ran out of caramel n hot fudge. He charged me $12 and said I'd pay $15 if we had the 5th circle (on the sign). So i asked why it said $12 and has all 5 circles. The guy said he only pushes the buttons and doesn't make the signs. Crazy. I'll never be coming back here again.

Please update your hours as I am in front of the business and it's not open. I like to think last person who reviewed this yesterday had said hours are not accurate may have had a one of situation.. but.. here I am.. in the same situation.. maybe third ones a charm for the next person.

Would be great if hours were updated. Closed even tho its posted online and in the door it's open

This little ice cream joint is clean and the decor is simple and minimalistic. Their flavors are anything but. The flavors change daily and they range from your basic chocolate overload types, to ube, melona, cereal and milk, etc. I like that the flavor names are witty and funny. For instance, Chocolate Wasted, Cereal Killer, Creep it Real, Mister Bean, Tropic Like It's Hot, etc.Black Sheep is located along busy Kamehameha Highway and there are some shared street stalls fronting the ice cream shop. You can also use the parking lot behind the stop on Ohai Street. There's counter seating and also a large table available. Cards are preferred for payment, but they do take cash if you have the exact change. With so many good flavors, how do I go about choosing one? I don't. My family and I get the flight for $10.50. Choose 4 flavors and either hot fudge or caramel to go with it. Everyone's satisfied because they get to choose their own flavor and also try other flavors. Waffle cones and pints to go are also available. With extra creamy ice cream and yummy flavors, this is one of my favorite go-to ice cream spots.

The cones are the BEST cones I've ever had. The ice cream is REALLY good. The service is unfortunately subpar and understaffed. Though i sort of understand as it's not always slammed. Hard to pay 2 people to stand around for several hours. 25 mins to closing the worker asked that we don't eat in since he already cleaned the tables. Even the best cones won't keep me coming with poor customer service.

Ice cream flavors are creative and very delicious! The gentleman that helped us, Joseph, was very helpful in providing education about the different flavors and flavor combinations. He also gave us a free sample of the July flavor of the month, strawberry matcha! I'm not typically a matcha fan but it was subtle enough that I would consider ordering it on our next visit. This visit my heart was set on cereal killer and guilty of strobbery.We are frequent visitors of the Black Sheep Waipio and Koolina locations. We often purchase to-go pints. This particular location and visit was probably the most informative and engaging we've had in our years as patrons. Not that the other locations are subpar, but the customer service we received at this location was above and beyond; the flavor combination suggestions was most helpful! The store itself was well maintained and with ample space if you wanted to stay in-store to enjoy your snack. Not too noisy, there may have been soft music playing? In terms of other seating options, there are quite a bit of tables and chairs available outside if you prefer. The outside seating is behind the storefront and surprisingly shielded from the busy-ness that is California ave. Lots of parking in the designated area behind the building. Truly worth the stop if you're in the area!

A friend recommended we stop by, so we did. We only got one scoop of the mocha ice cream, and it was delicious! We thought two scoops were needed, but one was more than enough for the two of us. The ambiance and atmosphere inside is incredible! The staff is friendly and fast! Good spot to stop by for ice cream. Men, beware! They have a sign showing women tip better than men!

Probably my favorite ice cream on island this far! Scoops are huge and they make the waffles fresh to order every time. Probably the best ice cream waffles I've ever had with a hint of cinnamon I can't get enough. I love the unique and ever changing flavors and honestly I haven't had a flavor I haven't liked. This ice cream is so creamy and the ingredients used taste fresh! Last week was my first time at this location being I normally go to the one inside of hmart but the quality was the same. Right now there's no sitting inside so keep that in mind when coming and just be prepared to take it with you.

Really good ice cream. I had a scoop each of the black sesame and also the butter cream cake. I would've given this place 5 stars, but the portions are small. I really want to see this business succeed. In Hawaii people don't mind paying more if you give a bigger portion. I'm used to places in California like Salt and Straw where the quality is good but portions large as well. Don't give such tiny scoops and you guys will do rockin business because your product is excellent.

Store is closed despite saying it open frequently, which is substantiated by online and door signage.
