Big Kahuna's Pizza

This is a hidden gem near airport! Sandi's were best I had on the island, straight broke da mouf!!! Service was quick and friendly and it is a small friendly little spot that takes you somewhere. Mad I didn't come here before. On island for a year and I didn't try till the day I leave! But will be back Sandwiches. Pizza and brownies. Man this spot was great.

Excellent fresh pizza, and garlic cheeseballs are the bomb!Super fast service, the food came out fast.Nice local vibe.

We came during lunch time and it was so crowded! You might have to wait in line to sit down since the space is pretty small.The menu was very extensive, but no worries! The employees were really good at giving you suggestions on what to order based on what you like!We ordered the personal size pizzas and it was surprisingly pretty big! It was also so tasty! Next, we got their chicken wings and I love how crispy and juicy it was! We also got their sandwich and surprisingly, this was my favorite one! The meat were so juicy and tasty and just everything combined was really tasty.We can't forget about their garlic cheese balls! It was pretty tasty, but I wish it was a little more garlicky and cheesy! But it was definitely worth the try!Service was also really fast! Definitely check them out!

Crafted with fresh ingredients and a whole lot of love, every bite is an experience to remember.The dinning area is small but perfect to grab and go or a quick lunch. The workers at the counter are friendly and helpful. Free validated parking. Located conveniently near the airport, Hickam and Pearl Harbor. I remember going there a lot when I was stationed at HAFB.

If you're ever near Daniel Inouye Airport on Oahu and craving pizza, come check it out! Located across the street from McDonalds park in the secure lot. Inside you will find a small but busy restaurant. It is what anyone would expect to find pizza in Hawaii. Great staff and great food, great combination!

A friend of mines is a frequent customer at this establishment. She would rave to me how good their food is. I love pizza and anything garlic bread. My husband & I decided to dine here for lunch. We got the cheese garlic balls/rolls? And the sumo personal pan pizza. First off - this is a made to order pizza place. I thought they sold pizza slices but no they only offer personal pan sizes & up. The cheese garlic balls/rolls were a solid 3.5/5 for me. I had high expectations because of my friend. It was more on the cheesy side and my first bite was with the roll that had the slightest amount of cheese. The sumo pizza was a 4/5 for me though. I really loved how it was overloaded with so much toppings. Not a lot of places top off their pizza with a ton of toppings. I personally couldn't enjoy my meal because it was extremely hot inside. I'm not sure if the ac was broken that day I went in. But that's why I removed a star to my review. The workers overall were very nice & friendly, the restaurant itself was clean all around. I can't wait to go back & try other things on their menu as well.

Ok so I might be a little obsessed with this place!!!! We love the pizza here!!!! I think I have order like 5 times in the last month which we don't do. We are not really. Big pizza family but I think they have converted us!!! They are so easy to order from, quick turn around, and they stand behind their product!!! We had a delivery issue where the diver input the wrong info in his GPS and he wouldn't bring to the right house. But they knew it was our fault and they remade our pizzas fresh and fast! We will keep coming back! We also have shared this place with many friends and they all ask where is this place as they can't believe how good this pizza is!

"Eat It" - Weird Al Yankovic* who the heck measures the pizzas?* - I did. The reason I did this was when I went to pick it up, the order looked tiny for $70.00. The sizes did not add up (see below)My husband rates this place a 4.5, I rate it a 3.0. It's been about 30 yrs since I last went to Big Kahuna's back when they had a cool little shack-like dive in a parking lot by Mapunapuna, and I remember the Cheesy Balls being super good as well as the food. PARKING: validated parking at the Airport Trade Center. The parking ticket scanner SUCKS but this is not factored into this review. ORDER ONLINE: avoid the walk-in 20 to 30 min wait if you order out. If you join their frequent buyer program for free, you get points where you can get free cheesy balls, or use points for purchase. Checking in on Yelp will get you no perks. EATING IN: small eating area with limited seating, glad I took out. Plus, we like to drink beer while eating our pizza, so we just took out.VALUE: Another one of those places where they ask for a tip out-right when you order. Adding tip plus tax added another $10+ dollars to the order. Tip for takeout, really? Value for food 3.0 ratingThe small pizzas are supposedly 7 inches. The large pizzas are 12 inches. I measured the small, they are all 6 inches or smaller, the large is 11 inch - I figured the cooked size was smaller than the raw size, so either shrinkage or shrink-flation. Small Eggplant Pizza: $9.95, small chunks of eggplant, sundried tomatoes, carmelized onions, dijon vinaigrette. Thick and doughy with lots of crust vs ingredients. I am eating a handful of cashews after eating this pizza as I am still hungry. Unsatisfying. 3.0.Small Mexican Pizza: $9.95, smoked bacon, chorizo, black beans and jalapeno. 4.5 rating.Small Texas Pizza: $9.95, beef brisket, onions and BBQ sauce. 4.5 rating.Big Sumo Special: $23.95, pepperoni, ham, Italian and Portuguese sausage, bacon, kalua pork, onions, tomatoes, black olives, mushroom. 4.5 rating.Cheesy Balls: $6.95 for 7-pieces. Flavorless gobs of dough with flavorless gobs of congealed, solid cheese with a few pieces of dried garlic - not worth re-heating but will dump into trash. Not good at all and I don't see what the hype is all about. 2.0 rating.Total including tax and "tip" - $70.00 (rounded up the $69.00). Not a very good value, in my opinion. My family liked this place better than I did, but for 3 small pizzas, a large pizza and a tasteless glob of dough for more than $1.00 a piece was a deal-breaker. Return factor: them - yes! me - no. I will go back to the tried and true dine-in at JJ Dolan's, Giovanni's, or Boston's. The price for value is too dismal at Big Kahuna's.

Definitely a hidden gem. Big Kahuna's Pizza has been around for ages and my husband loves it there. I always forget about it since it's by the airport but their pizza is supposed to be the best on the island and I definitely think is one of the best ones. They have a variety of traditional and island style pizzas. I love that they also make personal sized pizzas which is perfect for if you're in the area and need to grab lunch but don't want a whole ginormous pizza lol. There are people that like pizza crust and don't like pizza crust. I'm a crust person and I love that their crust is more on the thicker side.If you're not in the mood for pizza then you can turn any pizza into a sandwich or choose from their sandwich selections. My hubby's favorite is the Killer Kalua Pork. We also love their famous cheese balls. It's a must!Big Kahuna's has new chicken wings which are honestly so bomb. They have salt n' vinegar and cheddar. Both are really good with tons of flavor.Other perks about this place is that they have ample parking in the lot (2 hr free with validation), they offer military discount, catering, and they have great customer service!

Called in the order and went down to pickup near the airport. Parking lot has a fee but if you are picking up there is a 30 min grace period, more than enough time for in and out of the lot.Mom requested their pizza for Sunday dinner along with salad greens.Went all the way to Waipio and pizza was still warm. The pizza was flavorful with lots of toppings-not dry or too plain. My favorite part was the burnt bacon bits. Pizza was alright and above average. comarped to 10+ years ago it has a lot less meat toppings. Oh well I'm glad they are still around.5 stars for being still here.
