Best of the Best in Sportscards

Coming in just before noon Pro Bowl Sunday with a friend, I pondered about how long it's been since I've visited a store in this line. My friend knew what he sought while I browsed and reminisced as I saw different sports cards.The store layout is similar to stores in the Bay Area with various cards in glass cases and less valuable cards in bins organized by sport and age. There were comic books and magazines towards the back of the store. I am bit out of touch with card collecting as it's been several decades since I kept up. The market has changed where they are now a commodity. Those in-the-know will attest to that. Caught up with the momentum of history possibly being made the following week, I bought a Patrick Mahomes card. Thank you to Dave and Jeff who manned the store and answered questions as they came up. They told me that the owner, Calvin, has been in the business for quite a while and I might have likely shopped at his store in the '90's when the hobby was still of interest to me.

Best place to buy sports cards on the island of Oahu. This store is nicely tucked away on the first floor of a Foodland strip mall next to a convenience store. Parking is ample and it wasn't hard to find the shop once we turned into the lot. The staff is incredibly kind and knowledgeable about all different kinds of trading cards. We picked up some sports cards and Pokémon cards for our ripping pleasure.My guy has been back multiple times and I will be back as well when I come to visit the islands again!

Just went here for the first time to grab some pokemon cards. Getting back into collecting can be intimidating, but everyone over here was very friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely be back for more!

I checked out a couple shops during my visit to Oahu. Oahu Sportacards moved and is closed due to the pandemic. Paula's is a packs only store, and Best of the Best has a good inventory of common singles, packs, and some higher end cards. They are located in the standalone building next to The Cattle Company Restaurant in the Times Supermarket Pearl City Shopping Center. Unfortunately, the exterior signage isn't good, but that is the fault of their landlord. I've been collecting cards for decades. This store is clean, neatly organized, and sells supplies for they card collecting enthusiast. The owner is Calvin, who I spoke with in the phone. He was friendly, but not there when I visited on Sunday. However, his employee was knowledgeable and friendly and took the time to chat with me while he also serviced other other customers.The store is air conditioned and pretty large for a Hawaii card store. I will be back with cards and packs to sell and also to buy when I return to Oahu.

I have never been here before. But I happened to pop in on Black Friday (11.25.2022). My son recently got into collecting Pokémon cards, and saw my collection neatly in a binder, so naturally, he wanted to do the same. I stopped at Long's and walmart looking for the plastic card protectors, they werebout of stock at both places! Ugh! Since I was in the area, I stopped in thinking they might have some, but they didn't either. I ended up ordering from Amazon.Anyway, long story short... Such an interesting place to end up in on Black Friday. But I'm glad I did! Mostly everything was 50% off! I ended up with 6 packs of Pokémon cards (4 of which were Japanese packs) for only $16!! What a deal! Still, their prices are good. So I'll be back for more when my son is ready to expand his Pokémon card collection. Yay!

Very organized and nice employees! I was really surprised that they had this much cards in that small space! The value is ok it is a little pricy but game is game would recommend!

the owner was very nice. i was expecting to be judged since the last time i purchased sports card was back in 02'. i informed him i know it's different compare to 02'. he took the time to explain the difference between all the choices that are available to choose from. after hearing all this i picked 24' topps tier1. i was lucky enough to pull a signed De la cruz and yamamoto. thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge

Received excellent service from the two guys who work here. Plus their shop is huge! Came in with vintage baseball cards and even tho they didn't buy them from me, they both gave me ideas as to how to sell them online. Thank you!!!

The service at this place was so nice the guys behind the register told me where the donruss basketball singles were they also gave me there phone numbers so I can ask questions to them I would definitely recommend this place

Good selection and great customer service. Pulled a on of the '23 chase cards out of a blaster box. I'll be back
