Chef Paul Matsumoto, formerly of Alan Wongs, has opened up a take out business at the Pacific Gateway Center. Looks like he caters, does special events and is part of the Birria Taco craze on Tuesdays and Thursdays but this review is for his bento. If you follow him on IG (@benicobentos), he posts a list of what bento options are available each week. Choices change weekly, which will be fun to follow and see what Chef Paul comes up with!ORDERING: Place your order by 5pm the day prior to your order pick up to make sure your order gets in by calling (808)452-4314. They contact you to confirm your order and pick up time. When you get to PGC, call and someone will come out with your order. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 11:30am-4:30pm. THE FOOD: I ordered the Soboro Gohan Bento. I haven't had soboro in a long time and thoroughly enjoyed this! Flavors were on point. It comes with a small serving of Chicken Nanban. I'm a sucker for eggy tarter sauce on fried chicken! My friend got the Soy Glazed Salmon Bento with Somen Salad. He said it was excellent. There is also a baker making really interesting cookies! This week they offered Panellet cookies (which I had to google because I have never heard of Panellets before). Panellets are Catalan cookies that celebrate All Saints Day. YUM! I wish Beni Co. Bentos the best of luck! Looking forward to seeing what you offer each week!

I bought their vegetarian bento. I was pleasantly surprised how tasty it was. They had a good variety of dishes. All dishes were delicious. I've eaten a lot of vegetarian meals but was impressed with their bento. It was hard to find the location but it was worth the effort.
