I've been dancing with Malia for many years now and she is hands down the best teacher. She is able to teach multi-level classes flawlessly so everyone can pace wherever they are at. The way she structures and layers her lessons, she is able to build each student's repetoire in dance, even those with little to no experience. Because of the way she teaches, I am able to do more than I thought I could. Her classes go by so fast and I always walk away feeling like a more confident woman.

I have seen Belly Dancers in Paradise 4 times and I must say that each time was fantastic. From the choreography to the costumes' to the professionalism of all the performers. There is a wide range of dancers (age wise) that perform different dances with many props. From giant wings to heavy swords (that was the best dance) the women pull off every dance. I like the fact that they all smiles throughout the show and really seem to be enjoying dancing and not just going through the motions. I you have the chance to see BDP I highly recommend it. Malia and her troupe kicked off our the Voyager PCS 6th Annual Concert Fundraiser with their amazing belly dancing. Wow! We held this event on The Great Lawn at Bishop Museum and they used the whole lawn, which really engaged the audience. The music was great, the dancing even better. It was a family event, and the dancing was totally appropriate for kids. Love!
