Beer Lab HI

Great drink recommendations, speedy and attentive service. Nice ambiance. They had a very extensive menu which I hope to enjoy next time I return. Although inside a mall, this establishment is hip and trendy. Unique array of drinks with cocktail and wine options as well.

Nice interior and vibes were good to catch up with people for Pau Hana.. Food was above and beyond for pub fare and I like the concept of experimenting with odd beer flavors. I might have been away from Hawai for a long time, so Im not sure what is normal here, but I appreciated the food on the menu like spam fried rice and the Filipino pork. For beer, some flavors like the peanut butter beer, or the li hing with dill were not my favorite, but thats the point, right? The beer sours were my favorite.

I like this kind of place for beer. Many times I don't want to drink 12oz of beer. I usually want to try various types and at 4oz each, it's a great thing!!! BTW as of 3-6-22, it's OPEN, not closed. It was pretty full but my friend and I found a barrel which acted as a table with 2 chairs on the right. They have a nice assortment of beers - but warning, there were no pilsners that day. No Bud Light either here my local friends! They do have Paradise Ciders which I like as well.They have a nice food menu as well as one shot drinks ($6/each) and cocktails. Since we were there for lunch, there was a lunch bento and I love bentos. The bento was pretty good although the chicken katsu came without any type of sauce. Maybe mainland katsu or something LOLAnyway, nice place to chill. Could use a band or something at night.Will probably go back at some point.

New favorite brewery on island, and that's saying a lot because we have quite a few great ones! Beer Lab HI has been on my must-try list for way too long. Location is convenient, inside the Pearlridge Mall so there is always parking available. Lots of seating, but we opted for the bar to get tips and conversation from the bartender. Even if you sit at a table, ordering is through the bar (or the phone if you come for food).You can't go wrong with the beer. Every single one was awesome. Ask the staff for suggestions.. they won't disappoint! Food menu was interesting! Beer Lab is connected to a local food truck kitchen (which apparently switches up every so often). When we came, the menu had sweet chili tater tots, which we ordered and which were delicious! The onion rings were also delicious. We didn't actually try the burger, but our neighbors did and it both looked and smelled incredible! We will definitely explore the food more thoroughly on our next visit!

I was so excited to visit Beer Lab since moving away we got into beer tasting at breweries in California. We've visited and enjoyed many, so coming home for vacay...Beer Lab was on my "must try" list. Located in Pearlridge shopping center (uptown). As we entered you check-in at the bar, order your beer tastings, grab a table, and order food by mobile and pickup at a window. Nice place, atmosphere is chill. Beers were good, we got our recommendations by the bartender. For tasting you get 4. We really enjoyed Kijihata, Chidori, Fade to darkness. We also tried Tiger Lili which is a sour and I don't personally enjoy sours but I was intrigued to try it because of the lilikoi and passion fruit flavor. Cool place, I would come a back for a visit.

First time back after the renovation.I've come here dozens of times to get my beer and food fix. This place is awesome and has always created lots of fun memories. I love the rotating beer selection that keeps things fresh. The staff have always been great and really made the vibe inviting. Pre renovation, 5 stars everyday The only reason I docked a star this visit was because I'm biased toward the novel way beer lab operated previously. I thought it was refreshing to be able to order food and drink at your own pace from the main bar. This made it low pressure and convenient for groups of friends to gather and partake in the drink at their own pace/time and leave whenever they wanted without inconveniencing the group. The rotating food trucks through the kitchen was also an excellent way to promote local business. The new: The new look has a significantly more open concept. I'm not sure if they are furnishing the joint more, but as it is now all the tables sit about 6 maybe more. I anticipate they will add some two tops in the future. There is much more of a restaurant feel now. Check out the new epic menu! Lots of new items and some familiar favorites (yay wagyu burger) they even serve delicious cocktails now. I could drink their li hing old fashions anyway. Staff were super friendly as usual and very attentive to their tables now that you no longer go to the bar for service. Check them out and support local. These guys deserve it!

Came here on a Wednesday night, fairly mild amount of people in the restaurant.Beer: 8.5/10 ( smooth and not too pricey )Food: 9/10( tasty!!! but fries were too oily! )Service: 7/10( we waited roughly about 30 minutes for our food to be ready and the estimated wait time was 24 minutes... )Overall, great ambiance and good place to catch up with friends, family or even a chill date night.

Made a stop at Beerlab, our favorite place to get beer on the island! The servers are always really friendly, and the rotating menu keeps things exciting! We took home 7 32 oz crawlers, covered the names, did a little taste test & guessed which beer was which. We didn't get the food this time, but it's usually pretty good. I think the food menu rotates as well. & if you dine-in you can do a flight of sample beers--what more could you ask for!

My friend & I came here in the late afternoon yesterday and this place was empty! Lucky us. We ordered some type of mango drink, can't remember the name because I don't normally drink IPA or craft beers, sorry! Haha. But it was actually pretty good. There were 2 bartenders and lots of open seats.You order your beer at the bar and you can either sit at the bar or choose a table. There's a QR code to scan for food. From what I've heard, there's different food trucks every day that serve food. When we went it was flyin ahi. We shared the kalbi fries and it was so good!! We thought we'd order more food after but we were full just from that. The 2 guys working at the bar were super friendly and were even walking around to come ask how everyone was doing. Definitely a place to come check out.

Sorry, I can't tell you anything about the beer here, but the food from the kitchen is AMAZING. During COVID-19, they brought in two food truck vendors on a rotating schedule to fulfill food orders, and they are both outstanding. Sistah works the kitchen Tues - Fri (Tues is daytime only) - if you've never tried Sistah before, order the wagyu cheeseburger and chicken katsu with mushroom sauce. Trust me! The burger is thick and juicy - you'll need plenty of napkins for it. And the crinkle cut fries are nice n crispy. Flyin Ahi works the kitchen Saturdays - Mondays. My favorite dishes from them are the korean chicken and kal bi fries. Google 'beer lab pearlridge kitchen' to find the link to order online!
