1/17/25. Oh, OK I went back today because I wanted to get a drink but this time I decided not to stick with the typical latte which is phenomenal. By the way if you go here enough times and you see the same barista be gratified because these people are actually in the know that they did it right the first time for you to have come back and get another cup of the same deal. My years of coffee experience stems from a culture that quantifies serious coffee drinking in Australia of all places, Melbourne Australia. No, I'm not gonna say that that is the best place to go to for coffee but you have enough people who drink a lot of it to be aficionados. And anyone who is anyone that goes to a place that has the same barista that means you are locked in it! It details that that barista has done it right for you to have come back and come back again and again and yes my last review mention Sebastian he was there today. In my last review, he did mention a croissant which buy some fixing Has a basic toasted warmth to it, and a little drizzle of a type of syrup. I'm not gonna mention what the Syrup is because this review is being seen by the public, but if you'd like to go and find out what exactly that might be, I highly recommend you go to this café and ask for Sebastian, who does a croissant with a particular suggestion of a syrup that he has in mind and I promise you it will be done correctly, especially if you get a drink from him..I went with something completely different this time I went with what's called The "ONO". This delicious concoction is on there for a drink suggested smoothie menu know that menu has these names that are in Hawaiian- slang: "Da Kine, Kahuna, ONO, and "Shoots" "ONO" means delicious in Hawaiian slang the proper term is "PIDGIN English" it's the local slang! Also the use of "Onolicious" gets said a lot out here. Anyway...The Ono is a cold brew. almond milk, peauut butter. banana, cocoa, honey. If you can imagine having your heart set on Matcha tea, which this is not-- this has that very raw organic temptation to it, like what Matcha does. I want to say it's even right up there with the Ali'i Coffee- "Ube latte."These places are getting really into making a lot of sustainable ingredients, and this particular drink has that very "Visceral" like a hint of the "scent" of peanut butter, but not so strong in peanut butter and it has that very cocoa with coffee "velvety" feel to it. Remember how frosty chocolate milk is with Hershey syrup- but with all that other good stuff that we as adults love to drink in coffee: mocha syrup, the sometimes grounded roasted coffee, roasted espresso bean thats sprinkled on top, but this isn't visible in it. it's just a very fun smoothie like "feel" to it and the bananas, so well blended into it you can't even hardly see it. It adds to the thickness it's as if each sip brings me to the Ko'olua on a 65° hike in the morning and you smell the wild growth of Hawaii -- just in a cup! I need to try the rest of those smoothies... and you ALL NEED TO INQUIRE ABOUT Sebastian's tasty sweet syrup drizzled Croissant tell him Jennifer sent you!!!

Coffee here is very good and the best thing is that there aren't any crazy long lines. The location is in a building off the Main Street. Had the latte and the flat white which were both good. They offer a wide variety of pour over options from beans around the world.Had the geisha on one of my visits. They use a machine that does a pour over using a kalita wave. Pretty good but nothing special. Food options are available but I didn't try any of the food.

Bean About Town is located in the rear of the DFS, and they serve a pretty decent menu of sandwiches, pastries, and beverages. We came here to get a caffeine fix and had the Caffe Latte (espresso and steamed milk) and a Matcha Latte (matcha green tea with steamed milk).Since we just had a big lunch, we were unable to try out their sandwiches.Staff were kind and friendly, and there's plenty of seats where you can just sit and relax or do some work.+located in the rear of DFS+friendly service+plenty of seating

A clean, chic cafe with tasty specialty coffee in the heart of Waikiki. This is a much bigger space than their Kaimuki location! I ordered a 100% Kona pourover (delicious) and a croque monsieur and canelé. They brought everything to me where I was sitting, fairly quickly and nicely presented. Seating is ample: you can choose from comfy armchairs to hang out with friends or a counter with outlets if you wanna charge your laptop. Noise level is average, there wasn't too many people here when I went. I would choose this over the nearby Starbucks any day! #supportlocal

After attempting to go to another really popular coffee shop that had an insanely long line and then another, I decided to try Bean About Town. I was happy to find only one other person in line and was starving by then because the other shops that hardly had anyone in there didn't look too appealing. Their coffees on their Yelp page looked delicious which drew me in. The guy at the counter was friendly and made some helpful suggestions. I liked how big the place was and didn't feel claustrophobic. It was a lot quieter than some of the other places I've seen and cool inside which was nice after walking around for a couple miles in the heat. I ordered a flat white and a ham & cheese croissant. The flat white was perfect and the ham & cheese croissant came warmed and had a nice flaky crust. It didn't feel heavy and loved that the cheese was melted. SO good, I crushed it!He also recommended the apple croissant so I'll have to come back next time and try that!

Omgoodness. Such a cute, spacey, vibrant café! They offer A LOT of indoor and outdoor seating. This is the perfect place to study, catch up with friends, or even read a book in peace. The man that assisted was very kind and cute lmao. I think this might be my new favorite spot! Definitely check this place out if you have not already!

Service was great! Baristas and workers were super nice. Great option for those specialty coffee lovers if you're in the Waikīkī/beach area. Couldn't find a proper pour over around here until I came here! Had a natural processed Ka'u. All the coffee is from Hawaii so it does seem not as bright and fruity as say a light roasted Colombia or Ethiopia but still super tasty!! Coming here tomorrow too
