We did a sunset yoga session and a mindfulness hike with Beach Sunset Yoga Hawaii and I'm so glad we did! The yoga session was a great experience, even for a beginner like me--Olivia was super welcoming and easy to follow. The mindfulness hike was next level! Immersing ourselves in nature with Karen's thoughtful insights brought a new perspective and calmness that stayed with us for days after. She even led us through a meditation at the waterfall which was amazing! She is such a kind and warm soul. I highly recommend reaching out to her if you're looking to add serenity and a deeper connection to nature to your Hawaii experience!

What a lovely place for a yoga class! Shade from the tree makes it less likely you will get sun burned, and the administrator was very accommodating and super helpful!! Go do some yoga!!

So glad we took a chance and decided to try this yoga at sunset class overlooking the beach! It was such a lovely experience, relaxing but also a much-needed balance to all the hiking that had made us sore throughout the week. The instructor was really accommodating, understanding of all different abilities and adjustments that needed to be made, including for my pre-teen who joined in lieu of my spouse :) The judgement-free atmosphere was such a nice reprieve from the usual "go-go-go" mentality we have during vacations in a new place. Very reasonably priced as well.

My secret goal has always been to do a yoga retreat in a place like Hawaii. Unfortunately with a concurrent conference, more difficult to work into the schedule. As a result I started looking up options for yoga on the beach and that's how I landed on sunset yoga. I was able to book online. The price was reasonable. The same I would pay at home for a class, however, without the environment. I received an emailConfirmation also providing additionalInstructions on how to find the yoga location. It was detailed and on point.it was a bit of a walk from my hotel that I enjoyed. It helped me see the city. I walked down and the instructions were on point. I found the yoga spot in a grassy field by the Waikiki aquarium. My instructor was Jennifer and she was lovely. She shared some yoga towels with us. She started off the class with a meditation chant and a soothing essential oil spray. We then spent the next hour doing yoga, listening to the waves and hearing the birds chirp above our heads. You could feel the grass on your feet. You could see the palm trees above you. It was an incredible experience that I will not forget. I highly recommend it if you are visiting the area. I noticed if you live in the area, you can get a class pass! Definitely a relaxing way to start or end your day.

Just did a beach yoga sesh with Karen and I've got to say, that was the best yoga class I've ever taken. She was kind, welcoming, went a really nice pace, kept the class engaged, and wasn't repetitive on poses like other classes I've taken before.Great for beginners and people who don't do yoga regularly (like me!).Highly recommend doing beach yoga with Karen :)

As with others, this was by far the best thing I did on my trip to Hawaii. I lived here before for many years, and I think this would be a great drop-in class for locals in the area, but most especially a really meaningful experience to have as a visitor/someone new to Hawaii. The class should be mandatory for anyone staying in Waikiki, in order to really slow you down and plug you into what the islands have to teach you about softness and letting go. Very easy to find location and excellent for a first time practitioner or experienced yogi. Even if you have a lot of experience with yoga, doing it outside is a whole other level. You really don't need props or a mat either, just your body and a towel is perfect.

If you seek "authentic" pure Yoga, then this is it. Karen is Yoga. She is a master having honed her practice from training in India. Karen is a very rare and unique spirit that you feel blessed to have met. She knows Yoga. Yoga and Mindfulness are her essence, her spirit. Treat yourself to her class and feel the ocean, the earth breathe into you. Feel the healing. Wonderful!

The best decision I made in Hawaii is to go on jungle yoga, especially when you do not drive but want to explore the mountain near Ho'omaluhia botanical garden. They gave me a ride and take to the secret place (jk, it seems like somewhat known to people here but not too crowded). I got bitten by mosquito twice while we do yoga practice but I am usually the person who always be a target and other people didn't get any bites at all. I would say the raito is 8:2 of jungle:yoga, but they also provide an hourly morning beach yoga if you sign up for the hike, which is great. I wanted to do two practices on different days and they let me separate those two. The place is quiet and beautiful and not too hot. You don't need to bring yoga towel and we mostly did standing poses. The water fall is so beautiful and calm. Our teacher, Ali is so nice and I wish to do this yoga for the next visit as well!
