Amazing location at Turtle Bay right on the sand. The perfect mix of fine dinning with the comfort of the north shore vibe. True Aloha from start to finish. John our server was absolutely incredible and the whole crew were wonderful. From their food and drink recommendations, attentiveness and hospitality we felt very welcomed. The food was top tier. We tried a little of everything. The rib eye cooked to perfection, the black cod was delicious and one of the items they're known for. The crispy chicken, sashimi trio and the burrata were all fantastic! The Keiki menu has some great options as well. We went with the penne marinara. When in such a great atmosphere why not go for dessert. The molten chocolate cake, the pineapple butter rum cake and choco luxe cheesecake gave us a great sampling and all were divine. Highly recommend making a stop if you're on the north shore. Even if it's just for a drink at the bar and some of their bites. Great food, great vibe and the best people. Highly recommended it.

We came here on a whim while on vacation. Valentines Day. We didn't have a reservation, didn't want to see people, were tired and hungry, etc. We called, and they were willing to sneak us in.Holy Freaking Batman were we stupendously blessed! You could talk about anything...the ambiance was absolutely perfect. The service was exemplary. The waiter was knowledgeable, helpful, gracious, understanding...just like being a friend's house who wants to make you happy. But the food...the food was absolutely fantastic. There aren't enough words to describe how excellent the food was. Everything was amazing. At our party of four, we all ordered different things, and it was a little hard to have conversations as we were all making yummy sounds. The flavors were simple yet complex. Intense yet subtle. Everything was prepared just right. Perfectly. And we ate everything...we spent several hours there as they were closing and the food and service were perfect. The desert was flat-out amazing. We were stuffed, but we still put it away. The pineapple upside down cake was simply stupendous. I've been thinking about it all day...it was magical, lovely, fantastic, all the words. The lava cake was stupendously awesome. We kept trying to share our different dishes with each other, and they were all magical. I only managed to take one picture because the food in my mouth was sending me heavenward.Roy Yamaguchi should be held up as a standard for a 1st class meal experience on Oahu. It was special, magical, wonderful...absolutely amazing.

Located in turtle bay, parking is limited and difficult to find. Restaurant is next to Ritz Carlton. Ambiance is great. Came for lunch. They had live music. We Got a table by the ocean, able to see the big waves. Our waiter Joe told us they saw whale sightings earlier. We ordered scallops, rustic spiced ahi tataki, beef burger. The first batch of scallops were overcooked, our waiter got us a new one. The scallops were delicious, paired with passion fruit sauce and purple sweet potato. Perfect balance of sweet, citrus, sour and savoury. The burger was well done (we asked for medium) , the burger filling included bacon. Nothing special. The fries were good. The ahi takaki was a rip off. Do not order it. The portion size was small, a little over seared, sauce was not that great pairing. Mac nut tart for dessert. Highly recommend. Especially if you like pecan tarts. Overall 2 out of 4 dishes were good.

The cod and short ribs stood out to me here! Lobster mac wasn't anything special. We all got the sunset gin drink that I thoroughly enjoyed. Server was really kind and genuine. They brought a cute dessert out for my bday and we enjoyed the upper end but laid back environment. Really good experience!

The location right on Turtle Bay Beach cannot be beat. From our seats at the bar: clear and amazing view of cerulean blue waters and crashing waves.Burrata and Beet salad hit all the right notes! The cheese was appropriately gooey, the crostini was very crisp and held the beet hummus dip, while the greens were crispy and crunchy. Calamari came late and cold. But the Beef Teppinyaki was a truly outstanding replacement: sizzling, perfectly med/rare as ordered, with baby mushrooms, with rice was so superb, it's hard to describe the perfection it was to eat that beef.Friendly bar customers, attentive bartenders, I'll be back on my next trip out.

We enjoyed Beach House so much we went 2 days in a row for lunch!Their service was excellent, food delicious, beautiful location, and amazing cocktails. What more could we ask for? Bonus for us that Beach House was also kid friendly. Their kids' meal was the best I've ever seen - starting out with a quesadilla and salad appetizer, then a nice main course (my son had the salmon and vegetables), and ending with a chocolate chip cookie and ice cream. Overall, highly recommend if you are in the area!

An open-air fine dining restaurant on the beach. We saw lots of warnings online to make reservations but we also saw a walk in welcome sign while exploring the cove side of Turtle Bay and decided to give it a shot since the only reservation times left were too late for us. We were told our wait would be a 35-40 minute wait but it seemed more like 20-25 minutes. There was a decent amount of seating out front, which is the far side from the beach. The entire restaurant is open air. There's a roof and some fans, but it does get warm when there's not a good breeze, the more so the further away you are from the beach. There was also a bar with first come, first serve high top tables and a waterfront view. Service was outstanding. Everyone was friendly and helpful. There was a decent list of specialty cocktails but we stuck with our standard, a white Russian and an old fashion. We started off with the crispy Brussels. We're actually Brussels fans already and these were some of the best we've ever had! I don't think we've ever devoured a pile of Brussels sprouts like that before. Delicious!I actually wish the appetizer had been smaller or could be ordered as a side instead - since clearly self-control was not an option here - because we weren't exactly hungry when the entrees arrived. But yet again, we were presented with more plates of deliciousness. The short ribs were juicy and tender. My husband loved his trio, although he was too busy enjoying his dinner, despite being full, to fill me in in any details.

My boyfriend, my daughter, her friend and myself came here to chill out. My boyfriend and I just wanted drinks while my daughter's friend was hungry so we fed her. My daughter had the appetizer pictured. She loved the cheese quesadilla. I decided on the POG drink because it was fruity. I was just thirsty and I had water to drink as well to hydrate. So good on a hot day. Service here was excellent even though the waitress splashed water on my face. I ended up laughing about it because it was funny..They guy serving us was nice and explained the special to us. Seating is outdoors and restrooms are located to the right side of the entrance. Highly recommend if you are visiting.

I really contemplated 3-stars here but I'm going with four because overall I think Roy has a really great product and is a meaningful part of the food community here in Hawaii. First we were seated at a beautiful spot just off the beach for an early dinner. Couldn't ask for a better view / setting than that. That experience did not disappoint. Our server was very friendly and wow, very talkative. So much so that occasionally I don't think he actually heard what we asked for. And I can only assume he was that chatty with other tables, hence at time service was pretty slow. But you know, this is island time. We're on a beach. Who cares if service is a bit slow. Now on to the good. Food was great. I had the campache. Others had miso butterfish. Both were delicious. I think the one disappointing dish at our table was the short ribs. Oh and hamachi crudo was the bomb. Highly recommend!

Came here for dinner tonight after staying at the Ritz. We made a reservation for seven on a Saturday and we had to wait around 5 to 10 minutes for our seats which was a little long, but service was pretty decent for how busy they were and all the food was really yummy and came out a pretty good pace and it was pretty yummy. It was more on the expensive side, but I would say everything tasted pretty good and, like decently priced like a little bit overpriced, but likeworth the experience.
