I ended up here by mistake. My daughter and I were looking to catch some sun, lay in the sand and relax. Upon arriving, we noticed the junk yards, it actually looked like the set of WALL-E. We parked, unsure if we should even stay, we decided to check out the beach before getting our stuff from the trunk. The beach was pretty, not swimming beach but if you walk over by the lighthouse, it's empty and quite peaceful. We did just that but in order to get to our little place in paradise, we had to make triple check to make sure doors were locked, no valuable left inside, walked on the areas with grass to avoid the red mud, pass piles of trash dumped by what looked like city workers, definitely avoid the restroom bypass it all till we were back in our little haven. That part was nice. But living in a place like Hawaii where beautiful beaches are easy to find, I'd say skip this one and look elsewhere.

It is an okay beach park. People are fishing with waves crashing onto them. That's a way to keep cool on a hot day.The sand is not as fine as other beaches, like Kailua or Lanikai. If you happen to be in the Kapolei area, stop by here to just enjoy the waves.

Not the greatest beach in the area, but not awful either. A little run down and lots of muddy spots as the grass has died off.On the opposite side of the beach this is an industrial area - unfortunately taking away from the beach vibe.

We arrived here by accident when going go meet friends at White Plains, which used to be called Barber 's Point. This beach was pretty dirty and not somewhere fun for swimming. There was a dirt biking area , so maybe it's great for that. This seems like a place people go to do drugs . The parking lot was full of creepy looking people and felt generally unsafe and just not enjoyable.

The only reason why we came here was because the beach is dog friendly. You had to drive through an industrial estate to get there, but the beach itself is nice, but rather rockey. The toilets are a state and very creepy, and there is a lot of homeless here. To the left there is a large patch of concrete which motorbikes where doing wheelies and things. The only reason why I give it some stars is that the water is so clear and my dog went into by herself for the first time!! Also it's very quiet by the water which is lovely. It's ok for a short trip!!

This is really more of a small local beach then a tourist attraction, but if you're passing by this is a nice stop that is off the normal routes. You do need to drive though an Industrial park and yes, there are usually some locals and maybe a homeless person or three. Outside of that, the beach is decent but a little rocky. The left side might be a little better for laying out and for the kids to wade into. I only saw one surfer the two times I stopped by hit there are defiantly some breakers so you could probably do some surfing out here. It is also dog friendly so your pooch can play too. Enjoy!

Not the best beach on island by far and it's surroundings aren't the best, but it's still not bad. Just a lot of rocks and big waves so not really for swimming but it's cool to go just once and check out the lighthouse. Plus we got a close encounter with a beached seal.

I want to give this place 0 stars but that's not an option. This beach is for the homeless that live in their cars or tents. It was really rocky and not good for any beach activity. You have to drive through an industrial area which should have been a sign for me to turn around. While I was standing on the beach, a local came up to me and told me I shouldn't stay because of the homeless and sometimes they can be violent. Would NOT RECOMMEND!

No tourists just locals mainly. Some military families. Really serene at night. But be careful at night because of the night walkers.
