Ok so... I don't know WHY this place is even suggested on YELP. The number still works. The owner apparently answers and returns calls BUT... the store itself is and has been shut down for years now. This WAS THE SPOT to go to for helium tanks. How do I know?! Well, back in 2006 he was still up and running. He was located directly on the corner across of OCCC. Yup! That corner building. This of course was WAAAAY BEFORE Party City was expanded & way before they had deliveries and party entertainment. His price was reasonable too.I had once rented a LARGE TANK for $120. Fully loaded. And that tank could blow up over 100 balloons. Then we just put a deposit that applied towards the cost and if we kept it for more extra days, he'd charge an additional $25 per day. It's worth it if your seriously making good use of the helium. Other than that, you ought as well order balloons from the stores or, buy those disposable tanks that makes 30 balloons. I wish this guy was still around. And even if his business was closed, I wish he would still operate from home. Cause with all the parties we've been doing lately... I think we'd be his number one customers right now. LOL!!But if he ever comes back... I HOPE HE DOES, I would be super HAPPY & IF TOTALLY ADVERTISE FOR HIM!

Frantic calling from San Francisco to Hawaii. I NEEDED same day delivery for my nieces 1st B-day party. Found Ballooney Tunes online and called them. Even over the phone, great service (Aloha Spirit!). 4 hours later my mom called me. Mom said the balloon bouquet was stunning, and that it almost reached the top of her 14 foot ceilings. Cost was $89 not cheap, but well worth it! Yes I could have gone to costco and bought a helium tank and randomly place balloons around the house. That would be acceptable. But hiring a professionals to create something beautiful is so worth it. Advice: spend the extra $20 and have the pro's take care of you. You will not only time, but gas and stress.

Super convenient. Super friendly. Love, love, love the assortment of balloons! Great for last minute stuff....which is what I stopped in for. Next graduation, retirement, birthday, anniversary, bon voyage, congratulations, new job, new baby, new house, just because, i love you, confirmation, baptism, barbque or welcome...party I go to ...i will be stopping in there to pick something up. Its unassuming from the outside of the building. But when you walk in you just feel happy. I will absoutely, definately, positively be going back.!

Not sure why this place has had bad reviews in the past, but my experience was great! Walked in, picked out the colors I wanted, paid for them on the spot. My balloons were delivered, exactly as I asked. No hassles, no fuss. Mitch arrived on time, (despite having just gotten back from a trip the day before) and was very upfront and professional. Would definitely hire them again! It was worth the money, which wasn't bad at all...to not have to blow and tie them up myself and/or worry about how I was going to get about 100 balloons transported if I had ordered from somewhere else.

RIP OFF! RIP OFF! (GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!)Ok, usually when you're in the baloon business you have to be pretty competitive, cause let's face it... there are a lot of places you can order from...and you could just buy a helium tank at Costco and do it yourself. Well I was lazy and thought it would be more convenient to order them. We threw a big party a couple of months ago and through word of mouth (thats the way it works in Hawaii) we ended up going with these shysters. I ordered a lot of ballons and decided to have it delivered. They said they couldn't give me a price for the individual balloons since they sell them by bouquet. Weird. I gave them my CC's and didn't think about it again. A week after the party I looked at my receipt and noticed that they didn't put any prices down...so I decided to calculate it myself. Let's say delivery was between $30-40 give or take.... well that means that latex ballons cost $3.5 and helium balloons cost $6. Are you freaking kidding me? Latex ballons should be $1-2 and helium ballons $3-4... By the time I figured it out it was too late to do anything about it. BALLOONS ARE SUPPOSED TO MAKE YOU HAPPY, NOT MAKE YOU MAD!
