This store is really awesome. The items offered here are super cute. My only issue is 1. A lot of the items are a little overpriced (but the guy who works there is good at negotiating prices). 2. The HOURS. I've been to Bali moon a total of 6 times. 3 of those times they were closed even though it was during their normal work hours. The people here are REALLY on Aloha time. So I would try and call before heading out towards the store. Just to make sure someone is there.

've been shopping at Bali Moon since moving to the North Shore 5 years ago. Since then, almost all of my furniture, indoor and outdoor, comes from Bali Moon. I enjoy wandering around the warehouse in Waialua. There are times when I'll ask Claudio for something obscure that he doesn't have at the moment and he'll always say, "I can get that for you on the next shipment" or "we can make that." Claudio has a very sophisticated style and distinct sense of "East meets West" design. All of his furniture is well built and able to handle the extreme weather of the North Shore. He also custom designed a traditional Balinese cabinet for me to fit a TV and brought life back to some old chairs by reupholstering the cushions. They look fantastic! A friend visiting from Canada loved the seashell lamps I have and went to Bali Moon to get some lamps of her own. She then discovered all of the beautiful clothing Bali Moon has to offer. For the remainder of her holiday, she wore only those Bali Moon purchases. If you are looking for some very unique treasures, look no further than Bali Moon.

HEAVEN! Paradise trinket HEAVEN! All things ocean inspired, nautical inspired, beautiful, BEAUTIFUL framed and unframed artwork, kitchen ware, jewelry, bedroom decor, and MORE!! SO many ideas come to your mind as what to do with all the trinkets and such!!! Prices are fair. Not for the keiki to walk in, grab them shave ice from a few doors down and let them lick it up outside while you browse inside, as its kinda close quarters. Wouldn't want them to break anything!

Bali Moon is like no other place I've been before. From selling women's clothing and accessories to furniture and home decor, they have so much to offer! The prices are fair and selection is unique. They even take custom orders for many different products.

This store is moving or going out of business, and most of their things are sold. I live in the area and like to support local businesses. I was interested in buying a bedroom set, and wanted to find out about placing an order. However, the rude woman (owner?) at the store chatted with someone on speaker phone the whole time instead of helping me. I'm sure she is usually nice and helpful. Guess I'll have to drive into town;-(

I love their first store: a mix of clothing, jewelry, and some home decor items so I was excited that they opened a furniture store across the way. Walking in, you are overwhelmed with teak, wicker, and other home furnishings. If you are not familiar with Bali Moon, the owner was inspired by SouthEast Asia style during his surfing expeditions to Indonesia. He owns not only this store, but Bali Moon Hawaii and Matahari - all in Haleiwa. I like some of the smaller home accessories and admire most of the furniture but the prices? Way tooooooooo expensive and overpriced for my taste. I just can't imagine paying a couple of grand for a dining table made in Indonesia? People with $$$ will continue to buy from him for style but those who have to work until 90 to collect a decent social security check, no thanks.

Claudio the owner is friendly and knows Balinese furniture design. The store has beautiful home decor items and green-friendly furniture at reasonable prices. You can sketch a piece of furniture and he can have it made for you in Bali!

The handcrafted Bali furniture here is superb. The beauty and quality are best on island. The prices are pretty high for most items (expected due to quality plus shipping from Indonesia to HI). Having said that, Claudio is willing to negotiate and help customers find a balance of what they would like and price range they can afford. He and I designed a recycled teak dining table and 8 chair set. He had them made in his shop in Indonesia, shipped to HI, and delivered to my house. I couldn't be happier with it. These are not furniture pieces that you grow tired of and sell 5-10 years later. This table will be with me for the rest of my life. He also offers military discount for my brothers in arms. Great quality, great beauty, great owner, little on the high price side when compared to run of the mill furniture stores, but worth every penny!
