Got the coconut turnover and macadamia sticky buns at one of their farmer's market and it was DELICIOUS. We loved the coconut turnover and seeing all the pieces of coconut. They were both $3 each, highly recommend!

This is one of my favorite vendors at the kaka'ako farmers market - I always have to stop by to grab some of the 2/$5 pastries available. They rotate the flavors throughout the day based on what comes out of the oven, which i love. It's always like a little game trying to see if they have what I want. i always love the sweet ones like the Sticky Bun and Chocolate Croissant. We recently tried the Mushroom Garlic one that might be my new favorite savory croissant!Pro Tip - Pay with cash. If you pay with card or apple pay, they'll charge you a transaction fee.

Finally made it to the farmers market early and for once there wasn't a long line here so it only made sense to stop and grab a few goodies. No wonder the line gets so long, the prices are so affordable. Everything is $3 or 2/$5 with the exception of apple and coconut turnovers always $3. They accept cash or card. The workers are super sweet and friendly and they're quick to complete your transaction. I tried a bunch of things and am pleased with them all. Loved both the Lilikoi Mango and Blueberry Lilikoi danish looking ones. They have so many different filled croissants: spicy pork jalapeno, spinach feta, artichoke and brie, ham and cheese, mushroom garlic, and sundried tomato and mozzarella. I think there's one or two more too. I'll be back to try some other goodies!

Another great vender at kakaako's farmers market. They have their main location in the financial district area of Chinatown. They push out some mean focaccia pizza if your ever down in the area. Back to this one at the market lol. They have plethora amounts of sweet breads, brioche, sourdough loaves, cookies, and croissants filled with sweet and savory. The bread prices range from $4-6. Croissants are 3 for $5. They are savory and filled with kalua pork, pastrami, ham, feta and cheese, and meatball Parmesan. Get there quick at opening, because they do sell out fast. As for the sweets there are sticky buns, snickerdoodles, chocolate macadamia, cranberry raisin cookies, and chocolate chip. I have tried and eaten them all before a picture was taken lol. Check them out and let me know what you think!support local!

We were taking our Saturday morning walk when we remembered that the Kaka'ako Farmers Market had just opened (8:00am) and quickly scurried down Ward Avenue from Kapiolani Boulevard. Our walking plans usually include having a meal, depending on the time that we're out. This time, it meant breakfast was in mind.Walking in, we saw Ono Seafood's poke truck and a dim sum but our taste buds weren't up for either so we continued walking into the farmers market. As we walked along the last row of vendor tents along Ala Moana Boulevard, our noses picked up the scent of fresh baking pastries. Suddenly, we felt like Kellogg's Froot Loops mascot, Toucan Sam, who always says "Follow your nose! It always knows!" As we were inhaling the delicious aromas coming from Baker Dudes' mobile oven.We bypassed the loaves of bread in favor of the display cases featuring savory or sweet pastries. All were freshly baked as we could seem the trays coming right off the oven cooling racks behind the workers. They were selling their pastries for $3.00 a piece OR 2 for $5. My husband and I were first in line and placed our order. I don't know if they accept debit or credit cards as we paid cash. Our order consisted of both savory (spicy pork w/jalapeño croissant & Parmesan Amann) and sweet (macadamia nut sticky bun and cinnamon roll Danish) pastries which were still warm when the worker packed them in a paper bag to go. We headed to the Daylight Mind Coffee Company tent to grab coffee and sit under their tent but it was so busy that we just walked across the street to Starbucks. We broke out our warm pastries and paired them with our Starbucks beverages.Eating the fresh pastries confirmed our attraction to Baker Dudes' presence at our local Farmers Markets and its downtown store.

It must be hard to find good employees. Lady taking my order was not very pleasant. She came across like I was bothering her by purchasing 4 items at a total cost of $14.00/Baker Dudes have a nice location at the farmers market. All the items are displayed well. It can get a bit crowded, depending on the time you visit. A decent selection is available.

Got there around 9:30am and they seemed to have sold out of a lot of things already. Which was a good sign to me since that meant they were good! My first time at this farmers market at Kakaako. I ended up getting the mushroom garlic croissant which was delicious and bought a loaf of focaccia. Took it home and it's almost gone lol. It was delicious! And I felt like everything was priced accordingly. Def will go back again for bread!

There's always a good reason why long lines are formed at popular establishment...because they're awesome!!!Their mango turnovers are holy mother amazing! It's so buttery and just oozing with so much filling. The sugar crystals and the crunchy top layer just made it a perfect 10. Oh wait it gets better, it's completely fresh! They brought their own oven on the back of a truck and their goodies are baked right in front of you. It just don't get better than that. You gotta go to Ala Moana Farmer's market from 8-11 on Saturdays and try out Baker Dude's.

Love this place! Originally found them at the Ward Farmers Markets on saturdays. They have a delicious selection of croissants, my fav is the chocolate filled croissant and the asparagus croissant! They have sticky buns and lots of other delicious pastries and bread to choose from! Also have a storefront on Alakea Street, in downtown honolulu across from the FHB main branch. Need to go early because everything runs out fast. They make pizza and sandwiches but like I said, go early!

Went to the April 14th Ala Moana Farmers Market. We purchased 1) Banana Taro Bread, 2) Oatmeal Raisin Cookies and 3) Ham and Cheese Croissant.Banana Taro bread was purchased for my mother...I did not get to taste it, but by the next day it was gone...Assumption here, it must have been good. Cost $5.00 eachOatmeal Raisin Cookies - All cookies sold here come in a 3-pack, the size of almost a Bologna slice. These cookies were soft & crumbly with a good taste. If your a hard cookie type of lover, than this cookie may not be for you. Cost $5.00 for a pack of 3-cookies.Ham & Cheese Croissant - These are actually baked on site at the farmers market, the oven is actually in the truck bed of a full-size truck. These croissants was absolutely delicious. They are kind of small in size, but the taste is definitely homemade. You probably can get a bigger Ham & Cheese Croissant from Paradise Bakery in the food court, but this croissant from Baker Dude's is a notch above. We will definitely be back to the Ala Moana Farmers Market soon, and Baker Dudes will be one of our stops...
