An incredible selection of vintage Aloha clothing. The owner has been collecting the clothes for years and is very helpful.I actually saw a Reyn Spooner maxi dress that I bought from a resale shop at home. I was shocked at the high price, but it is a very comfortable dress with big pockets in a great reverse print. When I wore the dress into the Reyn Spooner shop at Ala Moana, a sales associate was very excited to see a vintage dress. If you are looking for vintage Aloha clothing, this is a great shop.

Fun store to poke around in. They have a big selection of new, used, and vintage (more expensive) aloha shirts in the main part of the store and have a smaller selection of women's clothing in the back. The price can go pretty high for their vintage shirts, but there's plenty in the $10-$100 range as well. There were also a lot of great shirts that were XXL+The staff is friendly and helpful and there is a small fitting area for you to try on clothes if you'd like (just a mirror behind a curtain though).

They get a ding for horrible parking, higher prices, and its a very tight/cluttered space. That being said its a landmark for any Hawaiian/aloha shirt lover. I've never bought a new shirt here, just not my style, but the used and really vintage racks can be a gold mine if you take the time to search. Each visit i find a few in my budget but rest assured he has every size, style, color and brand you can imagine and its never the same twice!

Love vintage Hawaiian shirts? Well then....You MUST drop into the "paradise" of vintage Hawaiian shirts at Bailey's Antiques and Aloha Shirts in Honolulu! We were in Honolulu, Hawaii for less than 24 hours and our soon to be 18 years old son wanted to explore the island paradise thrift stores. Our first stop was Bailey's which has been in business for 42 years! Great friendly owners! Interesting I shared with my son yesterdah, that my first visit to Honolulu was 1980---42 years ago with my parents and my siblings. In this visit we had just given our respects at the Pearl Harbor National Memorial a few miles away. Once we arrived I dropped my wife and son outside of Bailey's while I parked. I wasn't planning on joining them but my wife called me saying excitedly "You have got to come inside to see this place, its amazing! So I grab a required mask (October 2022) and then entered this Hawaiian shirt heaven. Apparently 15,000 Hawaiian shirt in seemingly ever possible pattern, color, texture, theme and size ranging up to 8X! Wow!It was a Saturday early afternoon and the store was busy but not packed. I began to browse this Mecca of "Aloha Shirts" which has had many famous celebrities make the pilgrimage over four decades including."Magnum P.I." "Blue Bloods" star Tom Selleck, "No Resrevations Required" celebrity ched Anthony Bourdain, and Margarittville rocker Jimmy Buffett who the owner shared she picked out his Halloween costume one year.If you enjoy thrifting and love Hawaiian shirts, this place a Honolulu MUST! Plan to spend at least 2-3 hours exploring not only vintage Hawaiian shirts, but also hats, jewelry, books and LPs. Pace yourself and you'll we be glad to entered Bailey's Antiques and Aloha Shirts! Aloha!

"Fun store to poke around in." Darn it, Jinny already said this! Well it is. There's just no better description. Like any good antique store, you never know what you will find here, but this place has treasures and junk you would never find on the mainland. Locals don't usually wear Aloha shirts unbuttoned over casual shorts with flip flops. Good Aloha shirts are worn like Guayabera shirts in Cuba, over nice pants for work. It's too hot to wear suits to work on tropical islands. They styles come and go, so older locals can come here and remember when this or that Aloha shirt was in style and younger locals can often identify the antique Aloha shirt in the store that they saw their grandfather wearing in a photograph. If they know what a photograph is. It's near a cat café, the Rainbow Drive In and a Zippy's, easily accessible by TheBus. This is not a place for bargains, the inventory is expensive because what they sell you can't get anymore unless someone on eBay is unloading an estate and doesn't know or care about the individual value of any particular old item.

We called the day before and Minako cheerfully told us the hours. When we came in, she greeted us, kindly asked us to wear masks, and explained how the shop was organized. She was super friendly and helpful. This shop is crammed in the best way with inspiring, colorful, vintage, authentic, every verb a Hawaiian shirt shop should be. We were here a long time ago and never forgot it so we brought our friends.

I bought a shirt here a few days ago and noticed it had a SHEIN tag while washing it. I can't believe I paid double the price for what seems to be a used SHEIN shirt. This feels like a scam. really disappointing.
