Great for all the above, especially food. Their marinara sauce is to die for, and I suspect because they use Roma tangy tomatoes

Aloha Friday carbo loading before a night out. No frills, just good servings of pasta. No lines or wait time at 4:30..Street meter parking that turns free after 6pm (always double check the signs tho). .Pasta came with solid customer service and relaxed home restaurant vibes. cheers!

The best Greek salad in Honolulu. The food service was good. I enjoyed not having to wait to be seated. We were able to have a conversation as the space and ambiance was lovely. They accommodated my vegetarian request.Chicken parm & eggplant parm was what my siblings had they enjoyed. Pasta large portions they shared and took some home.

Since I was off from work to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. holiday I decided to have e lunch with my wife at Auntie Pasto's . Last year I seen the news they said this eatery was closing their doors so I had to try them out before they close . The good news is they're not closing I asked our waiter if they're closing he replied his family took over the business Yay!I ordered their shrimp scampi it was ok my wife had their Lobster Ravioli she said it was good. The highlight was their Fried Mozzarella. It wasn't mozzarella sticks it was more like a mozzarella steak. It was very cheesy along with the marinara sauce very good .They're located at the corner of Pensacola and Beretania right across the street from First Hawaiian Bank . Parking is very limited metered parking right along Pensacola. I'll definitely dine their again in the future Support local

We came around 7:30pm on a Monday night and found street parking right in front of the restaurant. And we were seated right away. I ordered the Fresh Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp, and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. The pasta was delicious, though they were a little too generous with the sauce for my taste. My companion ordered the Carbonara with spaghetti and it was rich, smoky from the bacon . . extremely tasty! We also got the Fennel, Sausage & Roasted Pepper pizza (which tasted like they used Hillshire Farms sausage), but still done well. And their Homemade Tiramisu was so light, it melt in my mouth, and very flavorful. Service was very amiable, sweet and attentive. It is a bit warm in the restaurant, but the décor is charming, classic Italian-American. If you're looking for Italian-American food done well, I would recommend Auntie Pasto's.

For a casual Italian restaurant, definitely checkout Auntie Pastio's. The vibe is very casual and light and the food is pretty good! Service can take a while, but that's because it gets very crowded on the weekend. The food was pretty good and the lobster ravioli is definitely worth the try! Prices are pretty affordable too, considering the portion of the food. Overall, we had a good experience and the food was pretty good!

I remember when Aunty Pasto's was located somewhere else. When they moved to where they are now, my family stopped going, I think because parking can kind of be difficult to find. I recently went back to Aunty pastos though because I was on the hunt for the best eggplant parmigiana and the reviews here were good! I called in an order and picked up on afternoon before going to a potluck. I ordered the eggplant parmigiana with spaghetti and the fresh clams with linguine. Pick up was easy and fast. As I was waiting for the guy to get my order form the kitchen, I was looking at the menu and around the restaurant. It's a pretty big space and nicely decorated. They had some lunch specials posted on the wall too that seemed affordable. When I got to the potluck, everyone loved both pasta dishes. I liked the interesting shape of the fettuccine noodles and I think of the two, I preferred the clam sauce. I'd be back for some delicious pasta. I heard a rumor that aunty pastos was going to close, but I really hope that's not the case. Italian food scene is a little limited in Hawaii, so it's nice to have options.

Happy National Pasta Day!!October 17th is the day to celebrate all things pasta and this noodle nut sure am happy to do so and here I am at Auntie Pasto's!Most probably of location I've never been here before though their address is S Beretania the entrance is on a super busy Pensacola Street with metered parking that's usually quite difficult to secure though I was hoping to get lucky which I did so here we go! I admit it's quite simple with the basic menu offerings I know it's gonna be pasta not ravioli, lasagna or the blunt penne pastas lol but which one is the question.I was immediately greeted by the server which seems to be the only front of the house staff as I see no other besides the kitchen she handled herself lovely as she brought me some water and took my order of "Mixed Mushroom" tossed in marinara sauce I wanted spaghetti and was surprised how fast it arrived along with some house bread with a dish of olive oil, I also ordered a Strawberry Italian Soda which was nice and refreshing. The pasta was nice and basic a generous portion topped with shredded parmesan cheese and a sprig of fresh basil is a beautiful presentation. Wished that they did offer some chili pepper flakes and/or parmesan cheese not sure if they have and I didn't ask it's just normal for me that they offer it like many other places do so...a simple thing like that is a nice touch. The vibe here is nice and cozy the service was a delight as she kept checking on me and the food was basic for the price, it was just missing something for me the cheesy decor felt dated but I got my pasta and left full.Thank you!

Decided to dine in as a Friday night treat. Looked forward to a good seafood dish at a charming looking Italian restaurant. Should have left when the waiter told me not to order seafood. I was instructed to order eggplant parm or the chicken. Decided to order calamari as an appetizer and fettuccine Alfredo. Within 5 minutes of ordering I was served my bread, appetizer and main dish all at the same time. The plates were not warm. Never seen a iron skillet with food cold. I've never seen calamari look like that. It was a gell looking glued mess. I attempted to pull one piece off and it stuck together! The pasta was a weird curled egg noodle! It was sitting in a thin dump of cream with a gritty look and no taste. A pure liquid. There was no noodle coverage. I made the mistake and tried one noodle. It was room temperature and tasteless. A gritty sand like texture. After being passed up for 20 minutes a server finally noticed me after flagging him down. I tried to explain. He simply responded look we are busy and short staffed. Another server came over 10 minutes later and took the food after having el repeat again what was wrong. The first waiter came another ten minutes later to tell me he'd talk to the manager. The food was taken. There was no offer to make it right. Asked to talk to a manager. A manager never came out. After yet more time they came back with a check with a 30% discount. $28.22 for a meal I could take one bite that was sent back to the kitchen. SERIOUSLY?!?Wasted almost 1 hour 15 minutes and almost $30 for horrible quality. All this explanation from the waiters. There wasn't 5 tables seated in the entire restaurant. Not sure if Gordon Ramsey could save this place.
