We had fun, especially on the lazy river! The slides were fun, but the stairs smelled like so much pee, I wish someone would hose some of it away?Other than that, just love all the watery fun at Aulani. I love that there are multiple life guards around each pool area, including the lazy river. The reason why I gave 3 instead of 4 stars is because it's just too crowded now, and the pee smell on the slide line stairs.

Aulani has a ton of pools and slides that you won't know where to start. The water is warm, so you won't have to worry about that. You will have to worry about a ton of people as this place can get packed. You will encounter a wide assortment of people here. Still, a fun place, just be prepared to walk into people at a moments notice.

I second a previous review..I dropped some major moolah just so my ohana can enjoy the pools and so I can cross this off my Disney list. As a local, I've been dying to come to this pool..finally got some time to plan a Staycation at a villa and took full advantage of every amenity Aulani had to offer! The lazy river was a hit for my family. We pretty much spent our entire weekend poolside. I lost count as to how many times we went around and around the lazy river and then down those 2 slides, one with a two person floatie! No other hotel has this function in the entire state of Hawaii! Aside from that section, there was a playground section called Menehune Bridge, another kid-friendly swimming pool, and of course the adult infinity pool. There is a daycare on site to watch your kiddos for $$ of course while you can lounge at the pools or get a couples massage. **Side note, they will be renovating section by section sometime this year. Meaning one pool will be under construction at a time. I'd advise you call and check in before scheduling your room reservation. I'm super glad we got to experience the before renovations and we are planning another Staycation, hopefully by the time renovation finishes to see the after product.

Awesome place, couldn't wait to take my wife there, she had fun despite being asked if we are staying there time and time again, even though we had the bracelets. Wife is a big Disney fan so I decided to take her there for the first time...we were treaded like we don't belong..maybe we just don't look like tourist or we can't afford to be there, almost forgot we were in the islands

I dropped over a thousand dollars for a weekend stay the Aulani just to be able to take my son to this pool, and honestly, it was totally worth it. My son is seven and loves Wet n Wild Hawaii, but he is too small to ride any of the inner tube rides. Thankfully, the pools at the Aulani gives kids my sons age the option to safely ride these slides. What he loved the most was the menehune play area. It's designated for smaller kids, and parents aren't allowed on the bridges, but the kids can run through spray areas, slide down two separate slideareas, and waddle in the shallow pool area.He also really loved the lazy tube river, which was a great way to unwind after spending time waiting in line for the slides. Going through the waterfall in the caves was my favorite part. We tried every pool, checked out the fish aquariumarea, and even watched Goofy's dance party. Food is readily available, and were shaped in cute Mickey shapes.Don't be surprised if you spend your whole Aulani stay here at the pool.

This is my second trip to Aulani and I really enjoy sitting by this pool. I have 4 instead of 5 stars cause I think the water is a little cold, if it is heated it is not warm enough. This is definitely a kid/family focused area however I have no kids and still enjoy it. The lazy river is a little too lazy, it would be nice to turn up the jets so the current was a little stronger. There are lifeguards covering every foot of the river but again it is kid-family focused.I really do enjoy Aulani and will come back any chance I get!

Love love love the pool at Auluani! From the life guards that protected us and weren't mean; to the lazy river, child splash area, 2 adult only areas, different temperatures of Jacuzzi, rafts, slides, clean towels, life jackets, sand toys, and most of all the beach. One little thing...the juggle gym is currently closed and under construction till July i heard. We were a little disappointed, because we wanted to utilize all of Disney amenities.

It's Disney, enough said! The pristine clear gorgeous grounds are enough to make you wander around first. Believe it or not, the resort pool isn't the draw! It's the beach behind the pool! Disney supplies too much for the lazy, the lounge chairs, service and shade, yep! That's what you need! Don't get me wrong, the pool is gorgeous, the resort is too eye catching to only stay in the pool. Wander around the property and discover all of the amenities the resort has to offer. Family time, game night, treats and other surprises await you!
