Asia Manoa Chinese Restaurant

My wife and I were invited for lunch at Asia Manoa.It's located next to Waipuna Sushi in Manoa. They have shared parking in front. I had a heavy dinner the night before so they agreed to do separate meals. My wife and Nadine C ordered combo plates. I ordered a gau gee mein in soup. This turned out to be a good choice for me. The soup was light and tasty. Noodles were cooked perfectly. The gau gee was average. The two ladies enjoyed their meals. No complaints. The service was friendly. The food came out of the kitchen pretty fast. Considering a large party had ordered before we did. The ambiance is of a typical local Chinese restaurant. Enjoy

Lunch in Manoa, Honolulu, Hawaii...Because it was Veterans Day holiday, I asked some friends if they wanted to go to lunch - sure!Asia Manoa Chinese Restaurant has been here a while, but none of us had written a review! With free parking and a convenient restroom, why haven't we been here before?We went at opening time (10:30am) and had no trouble with getting a table without a reservation. Luckily, we beat a large party that took two tables! Deborah got the Daily Dinner Special Plate and I got the Daily Lunch Special Plate. The main difference was that Deborah's plate included fried rice and chicken. My plate had white rice, beef vegetable noodles, sweet sour spare ribs, and fried won tons. I liked it! Some of everything!I think I'll be back in the future... like if someone comes to town and we need a place for a gathering... let me know if you want to join! =)

Haven't been here so when our Auntie Nadine C said let's go for lunch and it's a holiday I said shoots let's go. We arrived in there parking lot about 10:20 am and I notice that the place was opened. People were going in. Waited for Auntie to come with Peter Y. She showed up and walked in. Sat down and the server didn't push us to order. So waited for Peter to show up but he didn't he forgot to put the luncheon on he's calendar so that's okay. We started to order the food I ordered their dinner plate lunch, Auntie ordered the lunch plate lunch, and my husband ordered gau gee mein noodles soup style. The food was good had leftovers to take home. The difference on the plate lunch was the crispy chicken piece and fried rice. Everything else was the same both plates. The lunch plate and dinner plate. We shall return again

A group of 10 of us went to lunch to celebrate a co-worker's retirement. The menu has many food dishes to choose from and is great for family style eating. However the combination plates make it very easy to choose from and the amount of food is plenty. The food itself is tasty. Our server was prompt and efficient and appeared very serious. Not many smiles but it was okay. Overall we enjoyed our meals and we enjoyed our time celebrating our co-worker's Retirement!

My husband and I experienced racism here. We felt unwelcomed as diners and were rushed out. The treatment was very apparent compared to the demographics of other diners.

I ordered the Boneless Chicken and Vegetables Cake Noodle. It was okay, but it cost $5.95 extra for the cake noodle.

We ordered take out and ate it right away but lemon chicken was tough. Pork hash was a little bit sour so not sure if that's the flavor nor not. It was great when we ate inside about 5 years ago.

We have been coming to Asia Manoa for many years. After the pandemic, we have focused on doing take out as our family has changed. Our most recent experience was very good & very helpful. We needed 2 plates less than half an our to closing. Unlike all other restaurants we called, they said come over, but come now. The food was hot and our guests devoured the food. We also like the fact that we can get vegetarian food, not just Jai or cooked Choi Sum.While we have not dined in at the restaurant in years, the take out has been consistently good and we plan to continue eating here.

Stopped in for a quick dinner, Since we haven't been here in awhile. Like at least for a couple of years, pre pandemic. Heard the food quality had gone down, so we thought we would give it a try to see for ourselves. Ambiance: Typical Neighborhood Chinese Restaurant. Good for take out on your way home. Service: Da usual, Food: Salt and Pepper Pork Chops were good.-4/5Chicken Salad was okay 3/5Salted Fish and Chicken Fried Rice-4/5Boneless Minute Chicken Cake Noodle-3/5 Overall was meh, maso menos. Would return for pork chops and fried rice.Keep up the cleaning!

Ordered takeout done timely and what we ordered was delicious!Highly recommend this restaurant.
