Art Kalahiki

As an event planner and floral designer in the industry for over 35 plus years Easley Designs uses Art Kalahiki Productions for a solo artist, duo, trios and bands. I have booked several weddings and events with Art Kalahiki. He is pure talent and very charismatic and all of my clients enjoy working with him. He is very reliable and brings all of his own equipment at an affordable price point. You won't be sorry to have him be a part of your special day.

Art is a very talented guitarist and vocalist who played all of our wedding music. From the entrance songs to taking requests while strolling around at the reception, Art did a great job. Plus, he's a cool, laid-back guy who is easy to work with. If you want to hear him sing, you might be able to catch him around Waikiki playing at the Royal Hawaiian's beachfront bar.

We had the unfortunate experience of having Art play at our wedding on Oahu this month. The wedding was wonderful and everyone else made the day complete. Art showed up late and left our guests sitting there for 30 minutes, this I could perhaps forgive, but he then proceeded to sit there and tune his guitar for ten minutes, again perhaps forgivible.. until he began to play the complete wrong song for the procession and the one song we asked him to play months in advance, he played on his IPad. This completely took away from the ceremony and had our guests laughing. Perhaps Mr. Kalahiki should have looked at a career in comedy instead. Everyone told us that he is generally good and it must have been an "off" day but three days later we saw him wandering around the beach. He was in the wrong spot for yet another wedding, late yet again. I wish I had not booked him at all and used my own IPod.

Art Kalahiki has a sweet voice, hits all the right notes, and knows all the favorites played in his special style. Plays great solo eithert ukulele or guitar or with his ensemble. I highly recommend him.
