Ann's Kitchen 808 express

Kinda skeptic about trying filipino food other than my grammas cooking. However, I wanted to try it out because the pictures look good. The pork adobo was great as well as the pancit bihon. Kinda reminded me of my grammas cooking, al thigh less saltier. I ordered the fried chicken as well, almost Zippys like. It's good. I ordered other stuff but haven't tried it yet, will update when I do. They did forget to deliver my garlic steak and butter shrimp plate though. That was one I really wanted to try. Maybe next time I won't be enamored with ordering a lot of stuff, just a couple stuff instead so I don't get excited about eating and not checking my order first thing. Thanks.

This place got that mother-loving cooking. On God. Their pork adobo fried rice is top-notch. Literally the only thing we get from there because we're so hooked on it that we don't want to try anything else before we get disappointed ykwim?! Haha! They are located in Honolulu airport terminal 3 parking lot, and their food truck is on the right side next to a look-out building. The aunty and uncle that runs that place are nice people. They don't really have a good eating area but that's why you got google maps to look for a park nearby or just eat in your car :) that's the fun part - finding a spot to eat at. They have plenty of other local food plates that you might like so give them a try. You never know!

Meh, for my first visit here is tried a combo of garlic chicken and teri meatballs. Garlic chicken was kinda too salty and saucy for my taste. Also it was bone in. Teri meatballs were pretty good with a little spice to them. Mac salad was good. RICE tho..... rice tastes day old. I went around 11:30am so there's no reason for them to be serving day old rice lol. I'll definitely be back to try other stuff on their menu WHEN I'm in the area. I wouldn't make a special trip here if you know what I mean.

You got to be Local to know this place.. parking can be a little hard to find but the food are Ono Grindz .. Took Laulau and friend ordered Adobo Omelette.. serving are huge .. way they make the Adobo made me decide to get that next time ..Father and Son work here .. they have 4 outdoor Bench and one table for 2 .. . Worth coming.. meal in along Kuhio is like $25 vs here with 2 Dishes and 2 coffees for the Same price of one meal in Waikiki

I use food delivery services almost everyday. It's addictive. I give my adult daughter the choice every night. "Cook Dinner or order delivery?" 90% of the time it's order delivery. It gives us alternative foods that we might not have seen or tried. And for today's "I didn't know this place ‍ existed!" The prices were incredibly low for a delivery service. I've come accustomed to paying $21 for a bowl of spaghetti or $18 for a cheeseburger . Today was for me finding a good omelette+ +. It almost jumped off the page and hit me...Ann's Kitchen. It wasn't high on stars and it wasn't fancy dancy, but I believe in giving each low star restaurant a chance. The first item was an all meats omelette for $10 . WAIT, WHAT ? An omelette for $10 here in Hawaii is like winning the Lottery ! Even though my decision had been made, I scrolled down the menu looking at all the different choices. Mmm, blueberry waffles, Hot banana pancakes , Pork Adobo, All $11.99 or less. The highest ticket item is called "Heartattk Special Combo." coming in at $16.99. It's a steak and Lechon (I didn't know what Lechon was, so I looked it up. That description will NEVER COME OUT OF MY MOUTH, NOPE, NO WAY , NO HOW) I'm sure it's a delicious dish to those who partake, but I was a vegetarian for 3-5 years. I still will not eat a steak , A beef or pork roast, anything on the bone, anything made from intestines. I'm incredibly allergic to shellfish clam, and I don't eat fish . It's taken awhile, but I will eat boneless, skinless chicken breast. I once had a chicken xxnugget that when I bit into it, there was a piece of vein or artery or some bloodypart I will not eat. I took a pair of kitchen shears and cut that disgusting piece out. Enough of my eating choices, Back to Ann's Kitchen. The all meat omelette was a tad overcooked. My Daughter had eggs and corned beef hash, which she liked. The portions are HUGE! Again, the cost was extremely low being in Hawaii ‍. Overall, I'm giving Ann's 4 . I mean somebody has to stand up for the little guys! (and gals). Order from Ann's and let me know what you think. .

Do not eat here. I deliver for DoorDash and today while I was waiting for the customers order which wasn't even started till I got there, I seen 2 BIG rats just running back and forward. One went into the kitchen and one was running in and out of the storage room right next to the entrance door. I was disgusted. I mentioned it to the young guy that was working and he didn't even acknowledge what I was telling him. He didn't even bother looking for the rats. He just proceeded to give me the customers order and told me to have a good day. I cannot even express how filthy & unsanitary, this place is. Im all for little hole in the walls but this one definitely does not deserve the green placard they have. I will be reporting to the health department.

Today I ordered using bite squad but wrong place to order from. I ordered the steak, onions, and mushroom plate. A good chunk of the rice was mushy and I hate that, super oily, and the taste was bland. Then I ordered the adobo omelette with fried rice,a good chunk of that rice was hard as heck. Never again will I order from this place. You guys can check it out yourselves though and might have a better outcome. Good luck!

Ordered some food per DoorDash for my grandpa.I sent him some options and he picked Big Breakfast 2 Eggs, Meats.It stated the meal came with Fried rice, 3 eggs and 3 choices of meats : spam, bacon, Portuguese sausage and/or ham. + he ordered an Arizona Green tea.He chose bacon,spam and Portuguese sausage.It took about 10 minutes before this restaurant accepted the meal. Then another 30-40 minutes before it would be picked up and delivered.(This place may have been busy - that's fine)Once, he received his food - the Portuguese sausage was missing.I let DoorDash know and the refunded me some of the order. My grandpa doesn't eat a whole lot - he was satisfied with the meal.

I'm a native, but it's 2021. ON MY LIMITED LUNCHTIME, why do I have to unwrap ti leaf off of my lau lau still? On top of that... I *also* have to peel off PLASTIC surrounding it too?! Ain't nobody got time for that! And I ain't trying to wrestle my food and get all dirty just to eat. And my GFs fried chicken... was it refried or something? Cuz it was hella dark brown and tough like leather. This is my FIRST negative review for food EVER. Do better, Ann's Kitchen. Seriously, it ain't mathematical physics. Heck, I really wanted to like you guys. But, umm, the rice was on point. *face-palm*
