Animation Magic

My daughter and I like coming in here to check out the new stuff they have. It's different every time I come in here and usually it's been awhile. So e things in the store are pricey and others are not. Depends on what you get.I definitely like looking around the store and it's always so clean. There are ladies inside the store to assist you. Located inside the mall on the second floor.

They have all the cutesy, trendy stuff. They really do manage to keep up with the times.I go to the mall sometimes just to walk around and most people are so friendly whether you're buying from them or not. Yesterday I was just walking and being ignored didn't bother me.Tonight however, I brought my daughter in-law in. She wanted to purchase something that was locked up and she asked to see it but the tone of their voices not what they said just made me feel like it was such a bother. I'm sorry we bothered you for an over priced $22 item. I won't be recommending their items anymore.

First off, I've been spending money at this store ever since they opened on things such as pokemon cards and mini brands. One day I finally decided to ask if they had a rewards program because usually every place of business has one nowadays. The cashier said they had a stamp card. I asked if it was new and she said no. If it was something they always had why don't they advertise that to customers? Today I had went there to pick out a couple things and my total came out to $19.88. I handed them my stamp card and the cashier lady was going to stamp it, but this other lady with glasses and a ponytail (I think she's the manager because she's always there) looked at the register screen and said I can't have a stamp because my total was $19.88 and it needed to be $20. I was annoyed because it was only 12 cents less than $20, but nonetheless I went to go find something for cheap. I found an item that was $1.99, and brought it to the front, but the whole time the cashier lady was ringing me up again the other lady with glasses kept looking over her shoulder to make sure my total was $20. As if I could get anything in their overpriced store for 12 cents or less. Then the same lady took longer than necessary just to stamp my card. The whole time she did not have a smile on her face as she was just clicking away at the computer the whole time. It was just 12 cents, why couldn't they just give me the stamp?The cashiers there are always nice, but that lady that's always there with the black glasses and the black hair that's in a ponytail always seems like she's having the worst day and she's never nice. If she is the manager, she's a terrible one.

Buyer beware!!! This store is selling what is "authentic" Labubu exciting macaron monsters for $28.99. When in fact it is not authentic. I purchased one downstairs at kawaii corner for $59.99 and this is authentic. I compared boxes and the color is different and small details such as scanning the halo code or little icons. Which if you didn't have anything to compare it to you would not know. And I don't care for labubus that much, however I care about integrity!!! So if you sell something authentic to people it better be what you say it is! I confronted management with my concerns and she immediately said it's close but not real as the one they have is a Hong Kong version. Who knows what else in there is fake. To me their credibility just went down the drain. Never lie, it gets you no where.

I walked by Animation Magic and I was pulled back into the store by the colorful sign and Pokémon and Unicorn greeters at the entrance. As I entered the magical store, I was enveloped in an array of squishy animals, anime, and more! This is definitely a fun store. I continued into the store and I was asked by employees if I needed anything. Happy and courteous people work here. The store was crowded. It's crowded because being in here brings a smile on your face. A perfect store to buy a birthday gift, a get well gift, a Valentine's Day gift and so much more!I focused on some anime banks here. So adorable and I like banks. I believed the price was reasonable. The only reason I held back from picking one up is that it was made of plastic. I'm old school and I like ceramic banks. This was a magical adventure for me today. I walked out with a smile and happy heart. Thanks Animation Magic.

It's hard to tell your child not to come into a store that is pretty much advertised for children, but the lady who seems like the owner (she is always here) has the ugliest personality I have ever seen. To open a place that attracts children and not be friendly is wild. My son always wants to stop in here and I don't know why I even bother spending money at a place who doesn't appreciate business. This time, I've had it with this lady. He wanted something from the case, that was clearly broken and we took it anyways. He thanked her (a 4 year old) and she did not acknowledge him at all and just told him to give it to her as she held it at the counter. Yuck. Lucky her cashiers saved the day as they were super nice but this is probably my last time spending any money here.

Never coming back to this store again because. THEY SCAMMED ME. This store isn't even fucking magical. They don't even welcome you when you come in the store.Animation magic?More like animation debacle! (Long story incoming!) On December i went to animation magic and bought a sanji funko pop for $17. When i took a look after buying it, it was fake. I tried to return it but they said no refunds, but gave me store merchandise credit over $17 and took my funko pop. Few months go by and i found my store credit, it was ripped in an unsafe place. I could kinda see the words and a few pieces ripped so i tapped it together and back went to animation magic and try to buy a $16 hat. When i pulled out my store credit to the old lady at the checkout section, she told me "what is this??" and i said "the store credit" and i explained what happened to the store credit. They bring another worker and i explained what happened to that credit paper. They said i cant use the card looking like that and told me to throw it away or something. I said "ok"disappointed, and walked away. YOU CAN STILL SEE THE WORDS AND ITS NOT EVEN EXPIRED YET. MAN COULDVE CHEERED ME UP BY GIVING ME A LOLLIPOP OR SOMETHING. I felt unwelcome in there. PLUS THE STUFF WAS OVERPRICED. AND NOT TO MENTION THAT EVERYTHING IN THERE IS LITERALLY A BOOTLEG. THEY SCAMMED ME. So yap thats why i am never coming back to this store ever again.

I visited this store in Pearlridge Mall with the kids and I was excited to see the variety of toys, collectibles, clothing and products. From Pokémon, Lego, Pop Its, Among Us, Disney. Etc. There's just a lot to check out. Kids will love seeing all the items and displays throughout. Staff were friendly and helpful in answering questions and finding the perfect items for presents. If you have a hard time finding certain collectible items, give this place a look. Prices are competitive. Fun place to visit and shop with the kids. Cool displays and great variety.

Animation Magic has a lot of interesting collectibles, and harder to find items. They have especially interesting Lego figurines. It was quite crowded in the store so we did not stay long. My husband wanted to get a Lego figurine and my son got a dinosaur. A lot of the smaller items are behind locked glass cases, and they hold the item for you at the cash register. I would assume it would be so that you didn't steal it! The checkout area was cluttered with a lot of cash register receipts and seemed quite disorganized. Customer service is OK, just not typical of what you would normally find in retail.

They hide 1 star reviews. Can't see my previous one when filtered, shady practice. They make sure you leave so they can close earlier than the other stores, will loiter around you till you go.
