Angel's Ice Cream

Definitely a top spot for shave ice. We ordered a special, which comes with ice cream, condensed milk, and one topping. We chose red bean topping with flavors Lilikoi, li hing mui, and blue raspberry. It was ginormous and delicious. Give it a try!

Stop by here on a Saturday. Add to myself or angels ice cream, and assumed that they would carry their own brands of ice cream. They don't say that they use Dave's ice cream however, they absolutely do! I know this for a fact because I used to own one.Be known to me on how old the ice cream was , it was fairly dried out with ice particles in it. It wasn't melted and refresh, but it sure was not close to its freshness date. Possibly changes in its color indicated that it was an old batch.Ice cream scoop given to me, was fairly big however the prices are a factor to it.The soft serve given to me was plain vanilla. It had a milky taste to it, however also had an artificial taste to it. Maybe a powder consistency.Customer service here is all right. Not much interaction between work and customer. It did feel like they wanted me to hurry up and order and leave.Just wishing that if you're gonna use your name as a brand for your ice cream business , maybe create your own ice cream rather than resell someone else's ice cream

We personally think that Angels is the best shave ice on the island! It has creamy ice cream on the bottom, their shave ice is smooth and fluffy with plenty of flavoring, and the toppings are awesome. The only thing that would make it better is if they had some seating inside, sometimes it is raining and though there are umbrellas outside at the tables the rain likes to go sideways here and the chickens/birds love to catch anything that drops. But that's Hawaii for ya! TIPS & TRICKS: * Best flavors are Tigers blood and Mango* On a beautiful day, you can drive over to Hukilau Beach and eat there... but go fast because shave ice likes to melt ;)

Driving back from spending the afternoon on the North Shore, I spotted Angel's Ice Cream. I had to check them out.A small shop that offers a lot of choices like icecream, smoothies, acai bowls, shaved ice, etc. I just got a dole whip and enjoyed it in their covered with umbrella seating area outside.

We went here for an afternoon treat. I had a "small" shave ice, although it was enormous. I had banana and strawberry and loved it. Very light and refreshing.The wife had a pineapple swirl and loved it. It also was very flavorful and light. Strong pineapple flavor. Service was friendly and fast. You order inside then go outside to sit at a table, so ambience is modest. In August 2024 they were accepting credit cards only, no cash. We will be back.

Great shaved ice right off the highway if you're on your way or coming back from the North Shore. I always get my shaved ice with vanilla ice cream on the bottom!

FYI from last week, shop was closed with air conditioning problems. Adding note for anyone who happens to try and look up the menu before visiting.

Staff was great. Two friendly young ladies who were very on top of taking care of us (Saturday afternoon/evening 3/23/24).Kids and wife all got mint chocolate chip. I did as well with a scoop of chocolate chip cookie dough as well. We all devoured the mint chocolate chip. The Choc chip cookie dough was just average at best. Very few bites of dough and mostly tasted like generic chocolate chip. Wouldn't stop me from heading back to Angel's just for the mint alone or to try any of the shaved ice varieties.Pretty small space and they only allow 1 party at a time inside but anymore than that would be crowded.

Wonderful service and the best shave ice I've ever had. Great place to grab a treat with the family!

Delicious shaved ice with fat whipped cream on top. Got the Angel's Halo because it was so iconic. Can't speak for anything else they offered like the ice cream and the acai bowls, but wow the shaved ice was a blast. Worth stopping by if you have a craving for shaved ice. Fast service, straightforward. Had to wait in a line outside the store since the inside is so small. Nice benches outside to sit at and enjoy the shaved ice.
