I've been walking pass this restaurant for the last year. Today decided to have an early dinner craving broth and meat. Vietnamese it is glad we did! Yummy. An Di Dzo is an absolute must-visit! From start to finish, every dish was an amazing experience. We began with their Summer Shrimp Rolls, which were fresh, perfectly wrapped, and packed with flavor--definitely the best I've had in a while. Then came the main event: Pho. We tried two different types, and both were incredible! The broth was rich, comforting, and full of depth, while the tender meats practically melted in our mouths. It's pure soul food.To finish, we indulged in the Banana Tapioca Pudding, which is now officially my favorite dessert ever. Creamy, sweet, and the perfect ending to an amazing meal. The flavors, quality, and care in every dish are unmatched. I can't wait to come back and explore more of their menu! Highly recommend!

Met a friend here for lunch and my friend had been here once and spoke highly of it. My immediate observation upon arriving is that the windows were dirty (considering this is an upscale eatery). Inside the restaurant, it also felt like there was room for improvement with the cleanliness. Chairs were mismatched with debris on them (friend had to dust her chair off before sitting). The waitress was not rude but also not friendly or enthusiastic by any means. Taking our order felt as though we were imposing on her. We both ordered the bone marrow pho - the flavor of the broth was delicious but the temperature could have been a bit hotter.

Finally made my way to An Di Dzo. Good service. Fairly quick to get the food. Tried the combo pho and spring rolls. Little pricey for the portion size though....Spring rolls - surprised it was only 2 rolls cut into 4 pieces. Nice that they put each half roll into a nicely cut lettuce wrap. Could use more cucumbers. I'm also used to having some noodles added. The spring rolls were little too deep fried and insides were mushy so couldn't really taste anything. But they give a big bowl of dipping sauce - almost a waste of sauce since there's only 2 spring rolls (4 pieces). Next time I'll try the summer rolls.Combo pho - I had a good portion of meat but my mom seemed to be missing some. Tripe and tendons were very tender. Decent soup but made my mom's tummy gurgle.I thought I was being helpful by paying via the qr code but noticed there's a digital service charge. I know more places have this fee, but this one was not just a few cents.... so better to pay the old fashion way.

I like the small cozy restaurant in the heart of Kakaako and Ward. Everything on the menu is made to order. From Ono appetizers to the ginger beer and main entrees of Pho truly a go to place after a movie at Consolidated theaters.

Tried this place for the first time and was pleasantly surprised! They have some unique dishes on the menu like giant and tender beef rib pho, steamed rice cakes, oxtail pho and you can add bone marrow to just about anything. They have a banana blossom salad that you can't find a lot of other places. Taste was a bit basic compared to the dive-ier places in Chinatown but this spot has plenty of parking, copious AC, it's very clean and service is stellar. I think those things more than compensate for the battle of the zombies in Chinatown (I still love you tho!). They have an interesting list of cocktails, mocktails and they even have hanoi style egg coffee (strong drip coffee served with 2 egg yolks whipped in condensed milk). The summer rolls were really basic, and probably my main reason for 4 stars instead of 5! They were very small and skimpy for the price. Total letdown but hubby insisted we get them. Shrugs. The banana blossom salad was awesome! Very crunchy, savory and tangy. The ingredients mixed well together and they serve it with both thin slices of pork and shrimp. The beef rib pho was yummy. The meat was tender, fall off the bone and we got 2 decent sized ribs. The pho is simply served with bean sprouts, basil and lemon. Pho broth was a bit basic, lacking the umami flavors that other spots get, most likely from cooking longer with more herbs/spices. No jalapeños or other unique veggies on the side, but the ones served were VERY clean and fresh. The crunch factor was real for the sprouts! Our server was very nice. They even have a $5 off $10 offer on Dining Advantage (t-mobile customers will often get free credits on this with the t mobile tuesdays app).Overall, it was awesome and I am already looking forward to going back!

I just want to have a quick dinner tonight since I don't feel like cooking. I walked in waited to be seated. Two wait staff said nothing as I walked in and continued their conversation. After a short while, one of them told me to sit wherever since it was not busy. And then I was ready to order my food and no one came to offer water or to take my order. After a short while, I decided to just walk out. I am not expecting a Michelin star service, but this is very bad customer experience. When I went there before at busier time, the wait staff was still very responsive and attentive. Tonight, it was absolutely non-existence.

I got curious about this spot after seeing it downstairs at the Ward theaters shops. We went for dinner and although we called ahead for a reservation, they had seating so it wasn't necessary. The restaurant itself has a very clean and upper scale cafe vibe compared to the typical Vietnamese restaurants offered on island. They also have a bar seating area and booths to make for variety in seating choices. Unfortunately when we went, the booths were taken so we sat down at the regular tables. I ordered a Thai iced tea and the bone marrow pho, while my fiancé ordered the rib bone and brisket pho. Both were very tasty and you can tell that the meat was stewed in the broth for additional flavor, however we both agreed that the bone marrow broth tasted better. The soup encompassed the flavors of the marrow really well, and it was a noticeable difference compared to the regular beef broth. One thing I want to point out is that we had to ask for the complementary plate of veggies to add to our soup. I'm not sure if they forgot to give it to us, or if you just have to ask for it if you want it, but that's what we ended up doing anyway. They were nice about it either way! Also, I can't recall what the drink my fiancé got was called, but I remember the server saying it was the restaurant's take on a Bloody Mary. It was spicy and they actually put the pho broth inside, so it was definitely an interesting taste. We both didn't personally enjoy it, but it was still an experience to try! My Thai tea was amazing though. The spring rolls were also delicious, but I wish the portions were a bit more. One thing that was cool is that it's served to you already wrapped with the lettuce leaves, so that was unique! Overall if you'd like to try a new Vietnamese restaurant with a different vibe than the ones in Chinatown, I would give this place a try!

came around 2 pm and were seated right away, ordered a bowl of pho and spring rolls both were super yummy definitely would recommend! They also have a chili spice on the tables that's really good, a must try! Only downside is that the restrooms are not located inside, but they are nearby :) You also get a 10% discount for checking in on yelp !

A very solid pho and Vietnamese spot in the ward area. Their prices are reasonable for the Ward area. It's a cooler than your normal pho spot, with hip decor and ambiance and music in the background. The pho has that rich and aromatic broth, served with a good amount of veggies. Their service was quick and friendly. The only down was the spring rolls only came with two cut in half, but they were delicious. Will be back for my pho and spring roll cravings, as we live right down the road.

The food was delicious. We enjoyed our pho and bone marrow and the broth was quite tasty. The rib bone and brisket pho were also delicious. There was definitely a difference in the pho broth for both. The crispy spring rolls were satisfying. I think we came after a rush as there were a few tables that were not cleared yet however the service was great. The restaurant is small but the decor is simple. Thumbs up for sure.
