Super yummy place!! Small restaurant but so delicious. We stopped by to get some grub on our walk and got the penne chicken Rosa - soooo good!! The sauce is rich and flavorful and they're very generous with it. The pasta is soft but not tooo soft - it still has a firm texture to it. And it comes with a garlic bread bun thats very soft and moist - they don't drown it in garlic sauce either which is great and just how I like it. The aunty there is super sweet and friendly. They even have to go pizza boxes available for you (we didn't get the pizza this time but definitely will next time!!) can't wait to come back

Great little lunch spot located on Kalakaua close by to Don Quiote area. You can dine in or take out. There's a shared lot for the other stores & restaurants in the building. Not a lot of parking, but there's also street parking.Ordered 2 kinds of pizza. I would say if there was more sauce it would've tasted better. They aren't huge like the Sam's or Costco pizzas so I would say they are more like a personal pan style pizza.

Short wait, fresh pizza, & super sweet staff * We for: 1. Hawaiian pizza w/ extra cheese: - Pizza came out in 15ish minutes- bread is a little different than what we were expecting. It does taste as if I made the dough at home but less fluffy. There's seating inside the store but we opted to grab it to go. Not bad though! Definitely A+ service P.s. parking is hard to find

Recently, a major craving for bread, cheese, and pepperoni hit me, but I wasn't in the mood for a whole pizza. After checking Yelp reviews, I decided to give Amina Pizzeria a shot. It's a quaint, little hole-in-the-wall spot located right on the main street. Upon entering, I was immediately struck by how clean the place was and how friendly the staff seemed. The transaction was smooth and hassle-free, which added to the welcoming ambiance.I ordered a Pepperoni and Mushroom Calzone, eager to see if it would satisfy my cravings. The wait was worth it because what I received was, hands down, the best calzone I've ever eaten. It was not only beautiful to look at but also packed with flavor and served piping hot.Amina Pizzeria definitely won me over with its great service, reasonable prices, and fantastic food. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to enjoy more of their delicious offerings!

Another experience that doesn't match the above average rating.Another experience where I was the one expectation out of 4-5 above average experiences. Though, some reviews are more generous than it should be, but that's fine. Here we are at Amina Pizzeria at the corner of Kalakaua Ave and Fern St--next to Machete's Mean Sandwiches and Moped Garage. There's a small parking lot in the back of the building along Fern St. It shares the lot with Pho Bistro 2 and other businesses.Inside is small--definitely hole in the wall size--with a few tables. But atleast is bright and clean. Besides pizza, this place offers calzones, spaghetti, French bread pizza, lasagna, baked penne, salads, and sandwiches.Pizzas come in three sizes, 10-, 12-, and 14-inch. I went with the Amina Combination Pizza (pepperoni, mushrooms, olives, Italian meatball, red onion, and bell peppers.I have to agree with the lower rated reviews regarding the dough and toppings. The dough/pizza crust really tasted like the frozen pizzas from the store. That was my immediate thought after the first bite. The crust was just thin, dense, and cardboard-like. The lack of sauce and taste was obvious. The toppings, albeit fresh, were too raw and undercooked for a pizza. Sure, I can taste the sweetness of the bell peppers and onions, but the crunchy texture didn't feel right. The oils from the pepperoni and meatball did not come out. Everything just ate bland and dry.Overall, it's disappointing the pizza is under seasoned, under cooked, and under sauced. I liked the fresh ingredients and the generous portions, but eating the cardboard-like, generic, frozen pizza crust killed the mood. These are really simple fixes. Use better pizza crust, lower the heat, so you can cook the vegetables and meats without burning the cheese, and USE MORE SAUCE and seasoning. Service was good. The lady was friendly and patient. The ingredients are there, and it wasn't awful. Just missed the marked on cooking time. Can't be bad twice right? I'd probably come back to try again. Maybe... The Sam's Club Deluxe pizza is pretty good though.

It was our last night on Oahu and were looking for some pizzaaaa. The dining area is very small/really casual so we decided to order to go and eat it by the pool. The service was great! Super friendly and efficient. We ordered a large Margherita with some sides of ranch. The pizza was undercooked and overall I felt it was just average. Surprising because the reviews are so good. But again, the service is exceptional.

I heard a lot of good things about this restaurant from co-workers. I've always driven past it but never stopped for a bite until recently. I wanted to eat some Italian food but wasn't sure what I wanted and remembered Amina's offered a selection of pizza, pastas, sandwiches and salads. They are located one block mauka of Kapiolani Boulevard at the corner of Kalakaua Avenue and Fern Street. Parking wasn't a problem as there is a lot on the back of the building or on the street. The restaurant itself is small with limited tables to dine in. After checking the menu, I decided on the lasagna. My order was ready in 10 minutes. The portion was just right. The ricotta and marinara sauce complimented the noodles and ground beef nicely.I also ordered a slice of cheesecake which was also good. I'm not sure if they make it in-house or order it from somewhere else but it wasn't heavy as some cheesecake can be.I will definitely be back to try their pizzas and sandwiches!

I usually don't write reviews but this is one of my fav spots in the neighborhood, I get cravings for it & love getting it for the fam ! The auntie is always so sweet and helpful at the front. First off the prices for the portions you get are so cheap and reasonable! Everytime Ive gone she gets us right , cutest little Ma & Pop whole in the wall shop . You wouldn't expect from the outside My personal fav is the amina special sandwhich, it's like a melted hoagie to perfection!!!! Everything is melted and smooshed so good together and the vinegar sauce on the side i could drink, like others have said lol. I get extra sauce and no charge fee The pizzas are so yummy and they have unique flavor combos. It's almost like a thick flatbread which my son loves . The small is GIANT btw All the spaghetti my family has tried multiple times, from white sauce to red meat sauce & always fire and flavorful, it honestly reminds me of my Grandmothers cooking in New Jersey. The meatballs are so fresh too. I wish this place would stay open forever in my lil neighborhood. Mahalo auntie! (btw all the sh***t reviews are from old men who never knew the right thing to get lmao) IYKYK

We used to have an Amina Pizzeria in Kailua decades ago where Fat Boys is now. I used to come here for simple pasta, although they do have pizza and sandwiches too. Now they are on Kalākaua Ave and Fern Street. They have been here for years. The same lady works here which is probably one of owners. Most of the pasta are quick like the baked spaghetti with meat balls and even the spaghetti with meat sauce! Love coming here although sometimes finding parking during the busy lunch hours in their shared parking lot can be challenging with other businesses and Pho Bistro 2.The most recent times I was lucky or I just find parking before ordering from my car. Pasta was usually quick. What is so different here is the taste in their marinara sauce. You can smell the marinara sauce and it's taste good too! She said they make their own sauce! Believe me it's yummy! It was hard to describe and she said it's a sweet but tangy taste! You would love it and can taste the difference. There are a few tables to dine in. It's a casual restaurant serving yummy Italian food. Nice and friendly service!
