Got lumpia?Lumpia is made with wrapped savory or sweet filling then fried to crisp. We got a dozen of poke shanghai lumpia and 4 banana lumpia. I got excited and forgot to take photos prior to eating lolThe pork shanghai is filled with pork stir fry veggies for its filling. It's seasoned well and sooo yummm!!! The lady gave us two different sauces. One was vinegar with garlic and pepper. The other is sweet chili but it tastes like a vinegar is added. The banana lumpia is sweet, and the bananas are also fresh. It's good, I just need more of that sugar coating that makes it crunchier and crispier. I'd definitely drive 30 minutes to buy more of the pork shanghai. Alyssandra's Lumpia Express is located in Waikele outlet in front of Men's Coach. It's open Monday to Saturday from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm and on Sunday from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm. It's definitely worth a visit. There's not many chairs and tables to sit but this food can be eating with just your two fingers! ;) We bought ours and ate it at home. It took about 30 minutes and it was delicious, crunchy and crispy! The lady was friendly and patience. The customer before us was wishy washy but the lady remained calmed and continued with a smile on her face. Her kiosk stand only allowed with one person working. Thank you for making such yummy lumpia's! Thank you for reading my review. Have a great Sunday!

I got the Shanghai (pork). Lumpia has crispy exterior, not too oily. The pork was peppery with good flavor. I would have preferred more taste notes but considering what i got, it was good! They offer two types of sauces, sweet chili and vinegar. I got sweet chili but think vinegar might be the way to go. The lady that took my order was also nice. Food: 3.5/5

The lumpias are crisp and delicious. The Shanghai nice and meaty. The banana (turon) sweet and smooth. Had to wait 30 minutes but it was well worth it. Will be back again!

Quick bit. It seems when I'm here shopping or want something quick, this is my stop. Sure I go across the tables for Thai but it's hard to walk around the mall eating a plate of curry. The stall is just big enough for two people to run the place. One person takes orders/cashier and the other preps and cooks. They have the standard lumpia's: Shanghai, Turon, and mix (veggies with pork) Aside from lumpia they offer Filipino bento dishes like pork guisantes and pancit. And the occasional dessert. Overall four stars, food is good and quick unfortunately they don't drain the oil enough so it soaks through the paper bag and sometimes the napkins. Now excuse me, I have to wash my hands. M

This quaint stall that serves up filipino food at the Waikele outlets. Their offerings include the classic Filipino finger foods: banana lumpia, pork lumpia, and vegetable lumpia, as well as heartier dishes like pancit and pork adobo. The stall's no-frills approach and focus on quick, grab-and-go items make it a convenient stop for shoppers looking for a quick bite. The lumpias here are a mixed bag. The pork and vegetable lumpias are decent, but they can be a bit on the greasy side. A tip for the oil-conscious: ask for a few extra paper towels to dab off the excess. The banana lumpia, while generally a sweet delight, can sometimes suffer from overly ripe bananas, which affects the overall taste. That said, when they get it right, it's a deliciously sweet treat. What really stands out about Alyssandra's is the convenience and value. There's rarely a long line, but when there is a queue it can be a long wait. The prices are quite reasonable, meaning you can satisfy your lumpia cravings without breaking the bank.

Quick notes:*6 lumpia's + sauce for a little over $8 after tax *Wait was about 15 minutes for fresh lumpia's *Parking is easy because it's inside Waikele Outlets with plenty space Alyssandra's Lumpia Express is located in a little stand inside the primary food court of the Waikele outlet and in my opinion absolutely worth a try, especially if you're in the mood for a quick bite because we all know shopping is a sport in its own category and can indeed work up an appetite The lumpia's here are perfectly crispy, three flavors: Veggie (with pork), pork, and banana I love that you get to mix and match, plus they come with a nice size sauce to dip in that seem to pair perfectly with the yumminess inside that crispy shell. This day and every other time I've ever come here over the years I got the majority Veggie and 1-2 banana lumpia's; the veggie is simple and delicious and the banana as well simple and perfectly sweet. Keep in mind there are two options for sauces: sweet and sour and a vinegar sauce; but you only get one of the options with your order of 6 lumpia's which seems reasonable enough considering the size of the lumpias in comparison to the sauces but if you are like me, this day, where you wanted to share with your sister who enjoys sweet while you enjoy sour be prepared for the 28 cents for the extra sauce.. no biggie... unless you put all your change in the tip jar like we did before we realized Overall I'd come back again and again when craving some lumpia's and definitely recommend you go check them out next time you're at the Waikele Outlets. Aloha

My favorite stand to grab a snack from whenever I'm at the Waikele outlet mall. They have a simple menu and I always order their vegetable lumpia with vinegar and spicy sweet chili sauce. They also have pork and banana lumpia, but the vegetable one is my favorite! One order comes with 6 pieces for $8. The wait could be a little long (~15-20mins), but it's definitely worth it. The lumpia is made fresh so they are always crispy and hot. Service is also quick and friendly considering that there are only two people working there.
