Alphabetland Preschool

Our daughter attends the pre-K program at Alphabetland school. After she missed the kindergarten age cut-off, we decided to remove her from her previous daycare and enroll her in a program that would use a curriculum to prepare her for what she would learn in elementary school. Alphabetland was not only accepting new students, but affordable with full day care until 5:30pm (for full time working parents). Now, 6 months later I am so impressed at what she has learned during her time in class. The pre-k classroom is colorful and organized with a teacher desk and individual student desks, to prepare the children for elementary school structure and classroom etiquette. The children in the pre-K class are all about 5 years old, or about to turn 5. They have lessons throughout the day that cover reading, writing, math, and even history. Of course they have outdoor play and art and free indoor play as well. They go on occasional field trips and put on special stage performances.Very happy with this school and the teachers. The school is located in the middle of apartment buildings with cars that line the main access road. However, the school has a small private lot that accommodates parents parking. Although the facilities and school location are not ideal, this school is a diamond in the rough. Highly recommend for parents looking for a good pre-kindergarten program.

My son Raoli really enjoyed his time at Alphabetland Preschool. He just graduated from the Waipahu location and now moving on to Kindergarten and I want to say we made a good decision to enroll our son there even if it was only for a year. I feel that my son got the foundation he needed from preschool to be successful. When he took the placement test for Kindergarten, he did an awesome job.. I love the fact that preschool took care of everything and made it stress free for us. I love that they provided all the school supplies they needed, the lunches and snacks and the learning and the care for our son. All this at an affordable price compared to other preschools. And the hours were awesome (6:00am -- 5:30pm). The preschool even has performances that the children put on for their parents, friends and relatives. Awesome! I want to also commend the teachers for all their hard work with all the kids and their friendliness. My son still loves to wear the school uniform at home and from time to time he would ask us about his preschool.AlphabetLand Waipahu, Thank you for all that you have done while my son was attending your preschool.
