This place is so fun and I can't believe this is the first time I've come. It's kind of confusing because the dates and times on their website and the actual days they do the festival for Halloween is different. This year they had the festival on Saturday and Sundays for the last three weeks in October. I ended up going on the last day. This place is tucked away and the dirt field. Separate from the parking one side is the pumpkin patch and then the other side is the festival with food, photo ops and games. The place was packed. I haven't seen that many cars since I've been on the mainland. Everybody was out with their families and eating all the fun carnival food. This place is also a dog friendly. I brought my dog and a friend and we started art fun at the pumpkin fields. Please note come early with the 90° weather. We've had all summer through October. A lot of the pumpkins were spoiled. We did get to find some for our photo shoot. And then we took some fun photos in the banana Fields. After our photo shoot, we walked over to the carnival. We decided to get a huge drink. And take some more photos under the rainbow. I will go again next year a little earlier and bring more people.

We always love going to a pumpkin patch especially around this time. Since we're back in Hawaii visiting family, we figured checking out Aloun Farms would be a fun activity to do with our son. The annual pumpkin patch festival is only open on the last three weekends of October. Entrance to the farm is $5 per person. The farm is extremely dirty and dusty so be sure to wear sneakers. The farm is huge with lots of activities for all ages. There's a petting zoo, pony ride, carnival rides, food/drink vendors, and a farmers market. There's also great area for photo ops to take with family and friends around the farm. The petting zoo is $5 per person and was a bit disappointing. It was very small with a few goats, two chickens, a duck, and bunny area (which you couldn't even pet). It wasn't worth the $5 in my opinion. Our son had fun on the big slide and carousel ride though. Keep in mind that you have to buy a ride card which is loaded with a certain number points. If you spend hours at the farm, the fees really add up quickly especially if you want to grab a bite to eat or drink too. I also agree with the other Yelp reviews that it would be nice to have the pumpkin patch open on the weekdays to alleviate the crowds. We went to Aloun Farms this past Saturday and it was extremely crowded. We had a great time overall. We took lots of great pictures and our son had so much fun.

I've only gone to Aloun Farms when they have their annual Pumpkin Festival, but it gets super crowded, everything is overpriced in my opinion, long lines for a lot of the family attractions, and I actually prefer other pumpkin patches around the state instead. I also wish they were open during the week instead of only the last 3 weekends of October to help alleviate the huge traffic and crowds. The last two years (2023 and 2024), I've come first thing in the morning and after spending about an hour, the whole lot is completely full. Be aware of dust and dirt, and the fact that it gets super hot in the middle of the day.On the plus side, there are some nice sunflower fields to check out, along with the other fields and pumpkins.

Yay for Aloun Farms! We always enjoy coming here because they're now the only farm that allows pets. They're allowed most places other than where there is food in the farm. They are located in ewa and entrance fee is inexpensive ($5/person). Parking is free but it is REALLY dusty and you'll need a car wash after your visit. there is lots of things to do there including the sunflower fields, games, food booths, shopping, picking vegetables, hayrides and more. You can literally spend all day there. it is best when you go early when they open. it got REALLY busy as the day went on.

Just went to their 21st Pumpkin Patch Festival. Wow! So many food vendors to select from. We got food and drinks from a variety from the vendors. I must say, everything was so very flavorful! There was lots of rides, live entertainment, farmers markets. We could've stayed here all day. What a wonderful place to be! We've decided to make this place a tradition for us to go every year, or two times a year, lol. Also, a lot of the vendors did accept debit and credit cards besides cash.

We don't really get to see the seasons change here in Hawai'i so it's great to find fun ways to celebrate fall, like going to a pumpkin patch. I was excited to go to Aloun Farms this year and they did not disappoint. We came here around 10am on Saturday and just like I anticipated, there was a lot of people. Although there was a lot of people, the line to enter the parking lot wasn't bad and we easily found parking. We also walked right into the festival and was greeted with a sample of juice from Meadow Gold. They also gave us a free gallon of iced tea when we left, awesome! There were a lot of food vendors to choose from. My boyfriend got the corn, which he loved, and I got the halo halo. I definitely needed a cold treat to cool off because it was very hot. There was limited shade but a lot of fun activities to do that kept your mind off of how hot it was. I really loved taking photos in the sunflower field and picking our own pumpkins. It was a bit tricky finding pumpkins that weren't bruised or smashed, but we found a couple that we were satisfied with. I didn't see any workers in the field. Luckily, I brought a couple reusable bags to help us carry it out to the front to pay. They were both $10 each. Tip: Pick the pumpkins at the end to avoid carrying them in the heat. There were a lot of fun activities for the keiki as well. Lots of carnival rides, a petting zoo, and pony rides. It looked like they were having a lot of fun. Overall, I had a fun time and took plenty photos.

Hot, dusty, food, animals, games, vegetables and fruits. At $5/per person you can have the experience of a fair and outdoor farm experience. I didn't know what to expect but knew that we needed to get there as soon as it opened. Nothing is worse than getting there late and fighting crowds for food and experience.Since we mainly went to pick pumpkins we found out we could go to the field to get our own or buy a ready picked one on the fair grounds. We opted for the experience of wandering the fields for our pumpkin. It was so hot at 9:30am and dusty. It appeared most of the larger pumpkins were extremely large and rotting. There were workers to help with wheelbarrows but I think we could not take much with the heat. Lucky we did spot a slightly medium sized misshapen pumpkin and carried it to pay. And we did plan picking pumpkins at the end because we knew the task would be tiring in the heat.Highlights of the fair itself..sample juice from meadow gold, hayride, fresh vegetables to purchase..highly recommend to buy the corn! The popcorn is also super could. Don't forget to try rosalani ice cream and the shave ice! There is a pay area to pet animals but decided against it. The vendors selling random items are fun to see especially the butterfly experience.Would we do this again? Probably on a cooler day when there is more cloud cover.

Aloun Farms was open to the public in October 2023. The admission fee was $5 per person. Parking was on the dirt rocky road, which from there you walked a bit to the festivities. There were picture taking with pumpkin decorations, food booths, produce for sell, keiki rides and activities, informative booths, sunflower patch, pumpkin patch and a corn field to pick your own for $25 a bag. It was a nice, hot, sunny day. There was a tractor ride too going around the pumpkin patch and corn field. But don't sit right behind the tractor because the tires kicked up a lot of dirt!

Invited by cousins to pick corn! Ended up@ Aloun farms in Kunia. The have a whole bunch of activities going on out there! A Pumpkin patch, corn picking , String bean picking all for a fee to participate. You are in a big dirt field, hot & dusty & a lot of families roaming around the midway filled with food vendors , EK Fernandez carnival rides & vendors selling their wares. A real carnival atmosphere! Free entertainment on stage.Cost is $5.00 to enter the free parking lot per person over 2 yrs old. Plenty of food options , I was surprised to observe that my favorite Huli Huli chicken was priced at $40.00 per bird. & 20.00 for a half. Pretty steep! The patch is open for the next two weekends & plan accordingly to what you plan to do. Sunscreen & a hat are needed. Bring or buy water. It's Super Hot & shade is under the covers. Have fun! Having picked corn, they give you a red stretchable bag that you can fill up & by stripping the husk off & trimming the ends can easily fit 40 plus ears of sweet raw corn on the cob! A fun experience considered work! Wear long sleeves to protect you arms & something to help you carry out your haul, we had back packs & a pocket knife.Prepare accordingly for this adventure& the corn was good & sweet to eat!

Such an amazing experience every year that the pumpkin festival has become a family tradition for us! The quality of the rides for the price is way better than what EK does for the 50th state fair. The kids get to enjoy it and each turn is just long enough for the lines not to get too long. Great job! And no more waiting in line for a fun pass card, they use an app now. Each ride averages out to about $5 per person per ride. For less than $100 our son hit each ride, and for some he even went with one of us.The produce is all on sale for a great value and even though Kapolei is HOT they do a good job keeping everything cool. The eggs were $3/dozen or 2 dozen/$5. The pick your own is fun but is probably better for older kids 10+, not stroller friendly.Btw, it is a farm. We saw a few parents stressing out with tons of hand sanitizer and wipes, but at the end of the day this is a true farm with dirt, dust, a few stranded rotting vegetables, and mud if it rains. If you're going out to the vegetables, it's not going to be a clean experience. Please have common decency and take your wipes and other trash out of the field with you. There are no trash cans in the middle of the field (so visitors were leaving trash behind).Hayrides are free and the lines move pretty quickly. If you want the best view, sit on the driver's side. The other side gets a good view of the parking lot and dumpsters lol but it's still a nice ride and a break from the walking.Over all, I hope Aloun doesn't change a thing (or much) about the way they run the Pumpkin Festival. My only request would be more shaded seating areas. Still yet, everything is very organized despite the large crowds. I hope they stick around for many years to come!
