Aloha Tap & Die

They carry all metric and standard taps. Heli coil repair kits too!! Aloha Tap and Die is out of a garage repair shop. Call them for sizes and they probably have them. They carry all those odd size bits. I was looking for metric taps. Most places don't have Metric but Aloha Tap and Die got um. Prices are high but they have the tools in stock. G

Unreal this guy I talked to fully tried to rip me off!I called them about pricing a 24mm, grade 10.9, 3 1/4" bolt and he tells me to convert the inches to mm like he doesn't know or couldn't figure it out himself?Some specialist!So, I google it(82.55mm), call them back and ask him for a price. He says he has 80mm or 90mm and has to make it(cut off 7.45mm) and price pending how fast I need it. I ask him how much for it today and how much a week from now.He throws out $300 for one!!I tell him he's crazy and he replies:"Where else you gonna get it from"?Ridiculous, extortion, price gauging if you ask me..I hung up, don't even bother with these guys unless you're desperate and have a deep pocket.I found Industrial Hardware has the same bolt for $27!!!Go figure the price difference..I wouldn't even give Aloha Tap and Die a one star rating for that kind of B.S.Should be called Tap and Die,because there's no aloha there....

Needed a die nut quick for a wheel stud thread repair. Don't like my cars being down for long periods. I needed a very hard to find size and checked big name hardware and automotive stores and they all did not have it. Only Aloha tap and die had the size I needed. Very nice and helpful at the store and on the phone. The die nut was more than I would like to pay, but I saved a lot of time by getting this tool and repairing vice replacing a stud. Although it was more, it was totally worth it in the big picture.
