5th or 6th time in Oahu and I haven't been to the Aloha Stadium swap meet? Blasphemous isn't it? My co-worker nudged me to check out the swap meet and bring her back some Ika chips. Two dollars to enter per person in 2025, I was excited. Lots of things and food sold at the swap meet. Clothes? Absolutely cannot be beat, at least half or a third less than what you typically see in Waikiki. Lots of interesting trinkets and a stout spread of food selection as well. I also saw some used household appliances and equipment that a local can buy. Pretty much everything under the sun, the swap meet has it. Coming back to the swap meet when in Oahu? You bet I will because we had a great time. Just make sure bring cash as about half of the vendors take case only.

This was the biggest flea market I've ever been to, it just goes on and on! Great place to find souvenirs on the cheaper end, thrift, eat some delicious food, and support local businesses. There are bathrooms there in case you need it, which were very clean. It's out of the way from the main hub of Honolulu but worth going to, and the bus drops off very close to the stadium. Something to be aware of is to bring lots of cash - there are shops that take credit but I was surprised by how many took cash, and it was a bummer when I'd find some cool stuff and end up not being able to buy it since I didn't have enough cash. Another thing is that I'd recommend going thru several shops before buying something - many shops sell the same exact thing but in different prices.

It's a great place to pass the time. I recommend eating something before stopping by because we paid $40 for 2 hamburgers, 1 sweet tea, and a street corn at Hawaii's Street Food/Corn (it was a regular burger, nothing fancy)The tents do have similar things and there is a price difference at some (less than $2).Come here for shopping, skip the food (except for the fruits, never skip the fruit!)

No trip to Oahu is complete without making a stop at the Swap Meet at Aloha Stadium. Open Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays, the Swap Meet is the place to be for souvenirs, local food and all kinds of goods ranging from clothes to plants. I love coming here here to get some steps in while munching on some snacks. You can find all types of souvenirs from cheap printed tees to locally made goods like wood carvings, bracelets and even those cool palm hats. Admission is $2 per person and there is tons of parking. Get ready for some walking and bring an umbrella on those hot days. It's a great time to be had at the swap meet even if its just for a stroll. You probably won't leave empty handed as something will grab your fancy.

Getting to the Aloha Stadium Swap Meet has been on my to-do list for years. We hopped into our rental and paid our $2 per person and followed the long line of cars searching for parking on a Saturday morning. We then took a long walk checking out the swap meet which consists of several souvenir shops, woodworkers, soapmakers, and food trucks. We were able to get Hawaiian dresses, an assortment of amazing smelling loofah soaps, and delicious shaved ice for two for under $60. My one regret was not stocking up on more sweatshirts and snacks. There were so many vendors offering great deals and several now accept cards. I will definitely return during my next Oahu visit.

The best place outside resort shopping. All the tshirts, sarongs, hats jewelery snacks and tschotchkes you could desire. Also some good samples of local treats and coffees to bring to friends and family. Specific stalls may have local artists at work carving wood and making jewelry.

Entertaining and overwhelming at the same time [Honolulu HI]The swap meet is about 10 miles from the Ala Moana Center (about 20 mins from Waikiki). My advice is to show up early and don't plan on conquering it all. We came on a Wednesday with daughter and niece and after about an hour all the vendors started to look the same LoL! The booths seemed endless as we started our stroll. The swap meet is an open air market, we didn't get a chance to circle the entire place because it got too hot but it was fun checking out the different specialties and merchandise from hundreds of vendors, crafters, and artists from all over the world, a true melting pot of Aloha!Entrance fee is CASH only and is $2/person. We found discounts on high quality products from clothing, accessories, Hawaiian souvenirs, pre-packaged ethnic foods, fine jewelry and vintage antiques. We saw beautifully handcrafted products and exclusive art pieces made and sold by the artist themselves. A truly original handcrafted piece we came across were the pāpale brimless hats made by a skilled master weaver, Uncle Oku. When bargain hunting go where the locals shop... the swap meet is the place to be! It's in a world all on its own.Review #0417 updated

We finally booked a trip to Hawaii after putting it off for a few years. Of course, we booked some activities that are typical amongst tourists. But then, we found something that was a little more lowkey.I had never heard of The Aloha Stadium Swap Meet prior to this trip. However, we wanted to explore something that is familiar to both locals and tourists who are looking for good deals. When we pulled up the property, there was a long line to get into the parking lot. After we paid to park, we realized just how busy this place was. It took us quite some time to find parking, despite the fact that we arrived early. This was an indicator as to how popular this swap meet is.After we finally found a parking spot, it was time to explore the property. At first, I noticed the large stadium behind all of the vendors. It was closed so we couldn't see inside. It looked like it was an older location, so I wondered if it was the site for concerts and sports events on the big island. The side adjacent to the parking lot was full of vendors who were selling jewelry, t-shirts, stickers and so much more. In all honesty, this seemed like the best place to shop four souvenirs at a bargain price. You're supporting the locals and still bringing back souvenirs at a discounted price. They also had people positioned toward the snack area who were selling used items. That seemed pretty authentic to me as they were trying to make some money by selling household items that were unique to tourists.Refreshments were straightforward: soft drinks, shaved ice, and easy to prepare treats. They seemed to prefer cash payments at this location, but some did take debit cards as a form of payment as well.I really appreciated this visit to The Aloha Stadium Swap Meet. It reminded me of the swap meets that I used to frequent with friends when I was a kid. You never knew what you'd find but regardless, it was an adventure. If you're in the mood to mingle with the locals and score some great deals in the meantime, then head over to Aloha Stadium as you won't be disappointed!

We went on a Wednesday, so some of the vendors were missing, but there were still plenty. Be sure to wear good walking shoes. This was a typical swap meet. There is a lot of local clothing (most are duplicates of other vendors). A few food booths, many jewelry booths, leather goods. It's a good way to kill a few hours.Happy hunting!
