Aloha Scuba Diving Company

I took my Advanced Open Water here with Libbie. Libbie was fantastic. She has so much knowledge but can convey it in a way that makes it not only able to be understood, but able to be retained. I highly recommend her if you're looking into getting certified at any level. I may fly back out here just to take her Rescue course. I was thoroughly impressed with every single facet of this operation. You can tell each and every decision was made with safety as the primary concern. The boat is one of those unsinkable, jet-driven, aluminium, self-righting, engineering wonder. They have a large O2 supply on board, not just a dinky emergency can.The captain will absolutely call out unsafe practices. The instructors/guides are so knowledgeable and comfortable that you will feel at ease no matter your skill level. I actually convinced my ocean-fearing, "I won't swim in the ocean" friend to go on a Discovery Dive, and he loved it. I ended up doing an additional set of dives after completing my course just because they're that good. I ended up doing 7 dives in 3 days On the same 2 sites, and I never once got bored or regretted it. Hell, I'd do 7 more if I had the time.All in all I'll never visit Hawai'i again and not go out with these guys.

I highly recommend Savannah as your dive master! She was very patient, welcoming, and attentive with my dive buddy who hadn't dove in over a year. She took her time refreshing new divers with rented equipment and always reviewed the dove plan before site arrival. The boat captain was equally knowledgeable and kind. Justin was friendly and always put our safety first. I would highly recommend this dive shop.

Visited Hawaii for the purpose of getting my PADI certificate. Took the o line PADI course prior to traveling and did the diving portion of it with Aloha Scuba. Libbie,, our instructor, was over the moon. She was extremely knowledgeable about diving and has clearly dedicated her life to it! She was friendly and made what can be a stressful situation very calm and relaxing. She was great, not only with me, but the other students as well, both in and out of the water! Justin, you have a real winner there, if you're smart, you'll clone her! Will definitely come dive with you guys again. On our dives we saw many turtles, an octopus, a Morey Eel and a couple white tip reef sharks. Mahalo!

Don't waste your vacation time with any other dive company. These guys are great! I've been diving all around the world for 30 years and this morning's dive was a perfect experience. Relaxed and fun while totally safe, well briefed and professional. Rental equipment was great and staff was superior. Do yourself a favor... book your dives with Aloha. Mahalo for the good times this morning.

The best.so much fun. Great staff great rentals and the best part is you leave smiling every time. The trips are great the guides are super OG. For sure coming back for more and for my twin set veer!!!

Great Dive outfit with exceptional attention to detail and safety. Was pleased to encounter this shop at the bottom of the hotel we were staying in (Ala Moana Hotel). This shop differentiated itself from others because they have their own dive boat, while other outfitters may rent space on a boat with other guides. It allows them to control the process due to familiarity with one another. They took us on short boat rides, to amazing dive sites, where we saw Sharks, turtles, octopus, eels, and an impressive variety of fish. Also of note was the quality of their PADI certification services. My children did a discovery dive with them and ended up getting certified before the end of the trip. The experience was the highlight of their trip.

I highly recommend Aloha Scuba Diving Company. Justin, the owner, is a stellar human being! My cousin and I flew out to Oahu for a few days to get our open water dive certification. We had previously booked with a different scuba company and they totally screwed us over at the last minute so we had to scramble. I called Justin at Aloha Scuba Diving Company and explained our situation and he felt terrible and did everything in his power to help us out. Not only did he get us in at the last minute, he also gave us a huge discount due to our situation (which he was not obligated to do!). He fit us in the weekend schedule and made it work for us, and was so supportive and kind. We also got the best dive instructors (in my opinion), Michael and Libbie, who both went above and beyond. I highly recommend both of them! I felt so safe in the water with them. Justin really cares about his customers, and we are so grateful to Aloha Scuba Diving Company for giving us the best experience possible and helping us out! Only dive with this company on the island, you won't regret it!

Couldn't recommend this company enough! Our instructor Derrick and the entire dive staff were extremely professional from start to finish. Made us feel comfortable jumping into the deep end and picking up new skills that can seem intimidating to people with little or no diving experience. We can't wait to come back to do more dives with the crew!

I completed by open water dive training with Aloha and could not recommend them more! Derrick was my instructor and he was so helpful, patient, and knowledgable about diving! My boyfriend who is already certified came on the boat with us and the aloha team was very accommodating to ensure he had a fun time too. Overall, a wonderful time and hope to dive with them again soon!

Definitely a five star operation. This review is after my second time diving with Justin and his crew. They are safety conscious and go out of their way to ensure you have a good time. Savannah is a terrific dive master and her love for the water is infectious.. Just plain old good people..... Will be back for more!
