Aloha Korean Bbq

Baffles me why this place has bad reviews. Yes it's old. But seriously giving 1* because the menu board is old? SMH. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. In an age (2024) where most Korean bbq places charge at least $17 this place is $13 for many choices. Portions are generous. Food tastes fresh. No complaints as far as I'm concerned.

My parents got take out from here for a get together with some friends on the North Shore. They are visiting from Connecticut and loved it! We tried bbq chicken, bbq beef, fish jun, and the vegetables were mac salad (def a veggie!), cabbage, choy sum, chap chae and bean sprouts. The service was fast and the portions were good. I always love mac salad, and this one did not disappoint. I loved the fish jun as usual and the sauce was good, too. Will need to check it out in person next time!

Too many great places to choose from to ever try this place again. Food is just a tad under mediocre. I can absolutely tell that they microwaved the food that may have been a day old... am I crazy to think that is unacceptable at a restaurant like this? ‍Like I said, too many choices nearby that are way better then this place. Forever pass for me

Walked in to order today. Mans with the glasses looked at my boobs instead of my face. I waited. He finally looked up, never greeted me. I said "hi? Can I make an order?" He replied, "Yeah you can. But you gonna wait a looong time"What. I understand times are hard and staff is short. And I appreciate being told the wait would be long before I paid for anything and was forced to wait. But how strange to turn away business?

Think super hard if you wanna eat here! The place is filthy which we only realized after sitting. The menu signs looks like it was there from a prior owner, I'm assuming a good 20+yrs ago. Menu pictures are all blurry. Service was blah. Ordered kalbi and side long rice. The shredded turnip was beyond rotten. Tasted like apple cider vinegar with a kick of Old Spice cologne in it. The long rice was hard and old. Only thing was worth the money was my bottle of Coke Zero. For that, you get my one star! Horrible horrible!!!! Worse food ever!!!

Very disappointed with service and food.... Very slow and the jumbo tempura is regular size tempura... think they got the Costco and jus fried it.

Great food! Fast service and the man was very nice. This time ordered the BBQ beef plate and it was ono, good choice of sides. Restaurant was clean also.Mahalo Aloha Korean BBQ you never disappoint!

Customer service at its worst!!!Tried to order a mini plate he shouts for the whole restaurant to hear "we ran out of rice!"

The two elder couple working are accommodating and easy to talk to! The food itself is good enough for its price. Two mini plate lunches with veggies for $20- a steal!

Super good service and food is amazing The special menu the spicy chicken is so delicious and it is spicy not like the other restaurants there spicy chicken is not spicy at all
