A little hard to find. Parking is available across (at Ohana Hale Marketplace). Pretty clean and they have restrooms inside. Just a little small and the mirrors are not mainted really good.Overall, I would still go to this place but not really the best studio.

This is a large dance space. The studio is ran by a husband and wife team. They a professional dancers and teacher. They teach children and adults classes. And the teach private classes. They also hold weekend dances for adult put on shows. I use them for Latin Ballroom lessons for my niece while she was here on vacation. It was $45 for 45 minutes. She enjoy her private lessons. This studio was welcome, friendly and clean. My niece had a fabulous experience learn some Latin Ballroom for the first time.

Great vibes... First time I came because I saw from an online search they have salsa dance socials. Then found out the were accepting new young vibrant dancers for their formation group and I joined! Then I was gone for a year, came back picking up where I left off. they are like family (: Family and friend oriented!Parking...Infront on street you have metered parking, free after hours or weekends. Behind is limited. Best chance to park in the big parking lot infront where Ross is. The dance space...There are two! Big room, small room. Restrooms in both. And mirrors all around! Back entrance to small room. Front entrance to big room. Sometimes you have classes happening in both at once. Like Brazilian zouk happens in small room while hula/tahitian class is happening in big room. These are other dance groups that rent out the space. Big enough for 30 close dancers, or a 15 people group to Waltz around. Wooden floors. Mirrors all around. They clean everyday. Well maintained. The place represents the owners well. They have a great reputation. Events... They are active on Facebook where they post upcoming events. Really fun themes, checked out their 50s style swing and the Thanksgiving holiday. Christmas parties they do gift exchange. Always potluck style. Classes... I've gone to their classes. Classes are an hour long. Different category of dancing on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. People are nice and helpful, don't be afraid to ask for a dance or some help on footwork (; I've taken private lessons too, with Lucas and another female teacher. Havent taken with Yanna but I heard she's really good. A friend of mine only dances with her, and has won at national competitions with her. For performers interested...There are showcases throughout the year just inquire with the owners Lucas or Yanna. And their big annual ball at Sheraton ballroom or another island hotel ballroom! They always bring in an international competition level dance couple to perform. I've been inspired by what I've seen.Come to watch or If you come to dance... bring your bag with a pair of dance shoes. Snack, water jug. Maybe small towel! Even a change of clothe. They have lockers, they have clean restrooms with stalls you can change in. They have a fridge and silk usually reserved for the potluck events. I'll be sure to post photos next time for yelp checkins!

My midweek pick-me-up. A few months ago, some friends wanted to get back into dance and I decided to try and join them just for fun. Since then, I've stopped by Kim's beginner hip hop at least once a month on Wednesday nights at 6:30. Kim keeps the fire going on class but breaks things down step by step so that everyone can follow. She's also very encouraging and pushes us out of our comfort zone each time. Issa party. I will have to say that studio parking is nonexistent, like most inner city studios. I get by with parking in the Ward Starbucks/Ohana Hale Marketplace parking and grabbing a bite to eat/a drink of coffee there before or after class. Studio 2 (where Kim's classes are taught) is also small. There's a bathroom inside the studio, but no showers or changing rooms, so keep that in mind. Now that I'm done with school, I want to be more consistent. I love taking classes here and can't wait to add more to my repertoire (like beginner R&B and beginner/intermediate jazz). KIM'S IG HANDLE: @kim.smokey.pak If you're trying to find the studio:1. Walk across the street from Ohana Hale Marketplace and walk under the stairwell on the right. 2. Turn the corner of the building (to the left) and walk all the way down towards the pet shop3. You will see a door on your left right before the pet shop that has a sign that says "Aloha Dancesport Center." And if not, you'll see a stairwell with the door wide open.4. Walk up the staircase. Studio 2 is on the right and studio 1 is on the left5. HAVE THE BEST TIME YASSSSS

There are two studios on the second floor so make sure if you don't see anyone they could be in the studio next door. Parking is across the street. The studio seems to be shared with different dance groups. Samir the owner of the Salsa studio is a nice guy. Check Yelp for studio schedule. Salsa lesson is from 8-9pm but I highly recommend taking a private lesson. $10 for the lesson and $5 for the social.

I was invited by a dear friend to teach Hula with a group of Canadians visiting the islands. It was at Aloha DanceSports. I met Yanna for the first time and she was left a wonderful impression with me. A professional ballroom dancer, and very down to earth. We also discussed future projects that I may need a bigger studio. Definite recommend!!!

My husband and I learned our first dance choreography from Lucas, and we strongly recommend him! From the beginning, he was kind, friendly and encouraging and explained things in a way beginners could understand. Unlike some other dance studios in the area, he was also transparent about his pricing, which we appreciated, and it was a really great value! Our dance was a hit with our wedding guests and we also had a blast doing it. Thank you, Lucas!
