Aloha Alfajores had a pop-up stand at Ono Grindz & Makeke Farmers Market on Thursdays. Thankfully, we stopped by to check them out.The ladies were so sweet and friendly! They were giving out samples of their Alfajores with Dulce de Leche filling. Oh wow, the outside was soft and buttery. The dulce de leches was creamy, carmel-y, and not too sweet. It was just the perfect bite!Come check them out!

Holy Cookie Batman!I feel Alfajores are a difficult cookie to make. The contrasting textures of the inside and outside, combined with the delicate flavors should leave your mouth wanting more.Aloha Alfajores gets it done! They are located inside the Pearlridge mall at a kiosk outside of TJMaxx. The kiosk is stylish with a great display of the products...which we tried almost everything..Classic heart cookies The heart cookies were good..and a little too easy to eat. You can pop one in your mouth and before you know it you are reaching for another. The cookies are light and flaky, soft and crispy at the same time. The filling is delicate but goes perfectly with the cookie. The mixed pack of cookies was also good. The dulce de Leche cookie was delicate and delicious. The cheesecake cookie was rich and decadent. The Nutella cookie was my favorite....it had nice intense flavor! The mini cheesecakes were also interesting. The creme brulee was my favorite of everything! That Crispy sugar top with the creamy inside....so amazing...I immediately wanted another! The dulce de leche cheesecake was interesting...there were a lot of flavors going on...not sure what to think! The cream cheese brownies were good but it was a little hard to compare them to the rest of the items because they were definitely less sweet. I should have started with the brownies! We will be back to try the ice cream!

I finally had the opportunity to taste these amazing cookies! Bought the Easter Special cookies and my grand daughters loved them! Also, bought the 12 oz. mini cookies and my husband ate the entire container in one sitting...need I say more on how delicious these cookies are? I met the owner, Andrea, she is very sweet, accommodating and passionate with sharing her very special cookie treats. The cookies are so ono, so flaky and melts in your mouth. The way she promotes her products is so classy with a feeling of homemade goodness, yummo! Will be supporting this wonderful small business with more orders in the future!

The first time I had alfajores was at a work gathering years ago. I never forgot the weight of those cookies in my hands, and the feelings of euphoria after the first bite. Alfajores is popular in South America and they come in many varieties. So when alohalfajores popped up on my Instagram feed I immediately took notice.I believe this is a women owned business making cookies from home. That itself we need to elevate women in business and support!:) So back to the giveaway on Instagram... I won! I couldn't believe it! God wanted me to have these alfajores!! She also delivered them to my apartment! I can't believe I didn't catch her name. I'll have to message her. So what I received was a mix of alfajores filled with dulce de leche, Nutella, pineapple, and strawberry. Some of the cookies were dipped in chocolate and coated with coconut shreds. The others had white and milk chocolate dressed on top of a strawberry. While the rest of the alfajores had toppings of powdered sugar, toffee bits, and rolled with coconut shavings.I had consumed 5 alfajores in a matter of minutes. I was the Cookie Monster lol. I am now experiencing cookie coma if that is a thing. The cookies were delicate, great texture, and melted in your mouth. I closed my eyes as I ate every last crumble. They were soo light but dense. So take it easy if eating more than one because they are addicting! My favorite is the dulce de leche and pineapple filling. They are also gluten free!! I just told the hubs earlier today that I think I'm gluten sensitive. So these cookies were meant for me lolThe alfajores are homemade and can be enjoyed with a good cup of coffee. They are insanely delicious. Prices are extremely affordable and all you have to do is connect with her through Instagram or via email.Instagram: @[email protected] local!Support women owned businesses!

This is a bit overdue, but Aloha Alfajores is the best!! Even in the midst of her busyness, Andrea was able to accommodate my party order with less than 4 days notice! Her desserts are simply amazing! They are unique, one of a kind, bite-sized desserts! Her alfajores are amazing and they just melt in your mouth! The dulce de Leche filling is so good, not too sweet but just right!! Her mini brownies are just as amazing, with just a touch of cream cheese! Both these desserts pairs well with a hot drink! Yum! Love the textures and the tastes of these desserts! She doesn't have a kiosk at Pearlridge anymore (which is where I first had these yummies). Authentic, patient, thorough, accommodating with yummy desserts! Thank you, Andrea!!
