3.5 stars - mostly for the speed of service but I don't know if it's fair enough to judge them on a event. They had one of the longest line and the most extensive list of menu items. Most of them were about $13 each or $18 for two choices. Feeling thirsty? A bottle of water will run you $2 which is way more than what shirokiya charges and they can be a rip off but on the bright side it's less than what aloha stadium or blaisdell will charge! Haha! Their line was long! Really long! We were probably in line for more than 30 mins and the poi Mochi line next to us was just as long but went a lot faster. Why? They gave out some samples of some kind of bbq pork. It looked tasty while it was piled high on a plate, but they didn't offer any tooth picks so people just shoved their fingers in it and I didn't feel it was sanitary so we passed on that. The people behind us said it was quite over cooked. When they called out our order we could hardly hear them yell out their names but it seemed like there was some mix ups or something cause there was a brief moment of sheer confusion. The food was good but it's not the most instagrammable food item. Seriously. Lol. But we were starving and we chowed down on it. The Mac salad has something in it that makes it taste a little different? Tuna maybe? It doesn't taste like there's just salt and mayo cause I normally don't like Mac salad. Lol.

The Boneless Kalbi was their signature dish and it didn't live up to the hype. Meat was pre-cut, so it was easy to eat, especially for the Eat the Street event at Kahala Mall. The combo was $18, and if you only get one item it's $15. We got the Kalbi and BBQ Chicken combo. Chicken was flavorful, and the skin was charred, yet crunchy and flavorful to eat. The boneless Kalbi was a bit tough, and I've had Kalbi at other places to know that it should be a bit more tender, although it was flavorful.

My co-worker and I literally followed our noses here. We were actually walking to a restaurant several blocks away but smelled the irresistible Korean barbeque scent and decided to see where it was coming from. All Kine Grindz was parked in the middle of two other food tucks and after comparing all of the menus and seeing smoke come out of the All Kine Grindz's truck, we decided that that's where we were going to get lunch from. Their menu consists of many local favorites like kalbi, Korean BBQ chicken, garlic shrimp and seared ahi and the menu is small and simple but definitely does not disappoint. I opted for the Surf N Turf (you can order any meat and seafood combo to make it a Surf N Turf) and chose the boneless kalbi and crab cakes. Plates are made to order but I didn't have to wait long. The Surf N Turf I ordered came with just one crab cake but it was generously portioned and crispy on the outside and it was topped with a yummy sweet chili glaze. The boneless kalbi was marinated to perfection and it was much more tender than the kalbi from most Korean BBQ joints around here. The plate came with a scoop of rice (white and brown available) and a side of tossed salad (mac salad available) Bottom line: my kalbi and crab cake plate was the best meal I've ever had from a food truck. They sell canned drinks and also take cards, unlike other trucks that are cash-only. The customer service was good and with food that great, I will definitely be on the lookout for their truck for days to come. Needless to say, I'm glad we followed the BBQ scent and found All Kine Grindz! Thank goodness for our sense of smell!

Had a company beach party out at Yokohama Bay... yes, probably the furthest drive to a beach on this island - and All Kine Grindz not only delivered, but set up our hot food with a table, (tent options) and then came back 2 hours later to break down... and they came from Kaneohe. Ricky and Alfred drove out, right on time and were super awesome with everything. The food was phenomenal, and the service was excellent. HUGE shout out for making this possible! I didn't want any of my employees to have to worry about setting up and you guys made it happen. We ordered 15lbs each of Boneless Kalbi and chicken. Both were perfectly tender, moist, and seasoned. Order came with a giant pan of Mac salad and rice - perfect grindz for the beach!

These guys were at the Mango Jam. I tried their combo plate -- garlic shrimp and boneless kalbi with mango glaze. Garlic shrimp cooked perfectly. Kalbi was tender and ono.Giving 4 stars since I had to wait close to 15 minutes and it was pricey -- $18 for combo and $13 for one choice. Think they had enough workers but no one was even cooking my shrimp.

4/12/16 I work nearby so decided to walk on over to the food truck that's parked on the HCC campus. I ordered the boneless kalbi $10 and my friend got the surf and turf $13 which you can choose your surf (shrimp, ahi or crab cake) and your turf (pork, beef or chicken) I like that it's a choice and not a set surf and turf. She chose shrimp and spicy pork. I tried her pork and it was tasty. The kalbi was a good portion and most of the meat was tender. I came across a few tough pieces but no biggie. All in all this truck is not bad. 4/22/16 Went back today and got a surf and turf with kalbi and seared ahi. Ahi was yummy and seasoned excellent. Wish I had eaten it sooner though. By the time I sat to eat my ahi had overcooked a bit from being in the take-out container. Maybe next time I'll ask that they barely sear it so it will be just right by the time I eat it.Okay.... today 5/2/16 pastele stew was on special and I love pastele stew. It was pretty tasty and had large chunks of pork and whole olives inside. So far this has been the best meal I've had from this food truck.

All Kine Grindz now has their food truck at my school, Honolulu Community College, on the daily! I had never had their food before they came here, but they are really popular at their Kakaako location. I ended up eating here because I forgot my lunch at home.It is a very interesting set up that they have in that you order through a window on the side of the truck and pick it up there. But, your food is cooked under a tent in the back of the truck. The meat is grilled over fire, sliced up, and placed in a box with rice and salad. For $8, I thought my Korean BBQ Chicken plate was reasonable. I received about two chicken thighs worth of meat. There is also a plastic table nearby with a variety of sauces for you to use.Service was reasonably fast. I received my food about five minutes after ordering. My food was hot, fresh, and delicious. I would go back for sure if I forget my home lunch again.

Suckers no stay on mililani street anymore, which is good business for cafe Ono when it comes to us. We were at a loss when they stopped coming, everyday was like "ho man, what we going do?" Found out they moved to hcc cuz the caf closed and I ain't walking that far! They sometimes pop up at night market and other venues. Anyhow, If you order the boneless Kalbi you cannot go wrong. It's tasty and U don't need a knife to fight around the bones. For a cheap plate they give plenty, even the mini is big, the mixed plate even bigger.

I ordered the seared ahi & i was excited to taste it because everyone before was ordering it too. Plus my friend said the food is good at this food truck but she never tasted the ahi. They have one of these in my school so I thought "why not?". I found out why not today. When I opened it, it had wasabi all over the ahi. Im not a fan of wasabi so I was already disappointed. After scraping off all the wasabi, there was actually no taste to it. I love ahi but, this ahi actually made me sick. My entire body turned pink for some reason. I had to use the restroom 3 times within the same hour. I ate only half of it and I felt sick to my stomach. Not sure if they actually keep the fish refrigerated or if they just don't keep their cooking stations clean enough. Sorry but I won't be going back to them. Food poisoning aint fun ..

The Habilitat owned lunch wagon offers up jobs for former criminals. Most of the people working this truck have served time in jail. Who would've known they could cook. They cook almost everything to order that's why you have to wait a while. Give them a try and let me know what you think. I like the boneless kalbi although it was a little overcooked in my opinion.
