Alive Ballet Academy

I've realized that my daughters and I have enjoyed classes here for over ten years and thought an update is overdue. I still feel that it was the best decision we made - especially in the terms of my younger daughter who started dancing here since age 5 and now 17 getting ready for college. My older daughter enjoyed taking classes during high school until she went off to college. How time flies! My girls had been with another ballet school in town but it was not the right fit. The smaller more intimate program they had at Alive Ballet was the reason my younger daughter has continued to dance this long. Keeping her in ballet was key to her development during her puberty years where she was often rebellious and not focused in school. We almost quit ballet because she would not keep up with her schoolwork and grades. However, Mrs. Maria cared enough to listen to my concerns and was patient with my daughter's attitude. My daughter was able to become more focused and responsible through ballet and furthermore made friends that are like sisters here. We'll always be grateful for what this studio means to my family.

Maria is an amazing teacher! I've danced ballet my whole life, but after starting lessons at ABC, Maria had a lot of new pointers for me. She is excellent at correcting alingment and always has her attention on each student which is very nice. Her whole heart goes into her practice. I choose her studio over the rest. I'm challenged without feeling like I'm not good enough.

When it comes to pursuing an art form, environment is definitely a huge factor when it comes to feeling comfortable and find success. The atmosphere at Alive Ballet is without a doubt conducive to learning, building self-confidence and developing discipline. As a dancer, I feel that Alive Ballet has help me grow immensely. Since coming to this studio I have found joy in the hard work and challenges that ballet comes with. I look forward to class everyday as I continue on my journey as an artist. I highly recommend this studio for anyone who is interested in dance!

Today, I accidentally read this comment. It makes me feeling very bad because Mr. Winston R. Was making a wrong story to confuse all the parents for his business. I was not happy but I didn't "disgruntled" at that time but I remember I was very EMBARRASSING because Mrs. Maria was very rude and angry at that time. She was YELLING at me and FORCED me to stop the ballet(I don't understand who gave her the power!!maybe she thought she is the boss. HAHA!)... This is the truth, Mr. Winston R!! I know you are very care about your business. But the good business should come with honesty, good service and broad minded. Wish you have good business!!!

My daughter has been dancing here for two years and loves it! Her dancing ability has grown so much it is unbelievable to us. She works hard and loves the many opportunities she gets to perform throughout the year. A big thank you to her teachers, Maria and Carlos. You guys are so dedicated to your students and the effort that you put in to each of them in teaching proper technique is amazing. Thank you for making Alive Ballet Center a wonderful place to dance.

My daughter has been taking ballet at the Academy for 4 years, from ages 3 to 7. "It's great! We learn a lot of stuff with her," says my daughter of Mrs. Maria Beltran.
