Awesome experience with Alakai. Great staff and delivery workers. Everything went smooth from start to finish.

They still charged me for a setup and breakdown, even though they messed up my order. So we set up and broke down the chairs and table. My mother went out of her way to even wash the linens ( not sure why but that's how she is...) and anyway they said two linens were missing then charged me for that too. Meanwhile we have no reason to keep white (discolored and used) rectangular table linens, especially given I have a round dining table and round outdoor patio table... and the fact you can buy the same quality brand new ones on Amazon for cheaper than what they charged me for them. Super weird. Anyway I questioned them if they counted correctly as that made no sense... we also searched night and low for 2 of the 4 linens they claimed were missing. They were very callous about it and proceeded to charge me for two linens, and the breakdown fee all of which they didn't do. So for that, I wouldn't use them again. Seems a little scammy. Not to mention it made my day super stressful having to setup everything myself, when they messed up my delivery to include the setup and breakdown. So would not recommend this place. Lots of other places you can use, that I've had better experiences with.

The price that you pay is not the price that they're going to charge you. They're not going to talk to you like an adult. They're going to have Rachel call you and then she's going to try to get as much money out of you as possible after the parties over with. Do not do business for this company. These are not honest people.

I rented 8 ft. tables, 50 chairs and a chill table for my son's Graduation/Birthday luncheon and Alaka'i delivered. I am grateful for Alaka'i being in constant contact with me to keep me informed of delivery times and pick up times. Communication is key when working with your customers and I understand the importance of it. Delivery of tables and chairs were within the times that I was informed of and they were in constant contact with me on when they were gonna be at my location. In all, I am very satisfied with the services that were provided by Alaka'i.

They are quick and good at working with you and your schedule for any event They always check in just to much sure everything is going well and as planned

They are very friendly and helpful. Has lots of different things available to choose from to make things easier for the party. They helped us pick the best package for the needs of our sons party.

The worst company to ever use stay away from them at all costs. We ordered a mechanical bull on Dec 23 2023 for a party it arrived broken the attendant attempted to fix it the whole night it malfunctioned. The next day I asked for a refund they are refusing to refund me even though the employee said it didn't work. The company claims to be here on Oahu I found out they operate out of the Philippines owner Joseph Rinn refuses to answer my calls the call center says he's in meetings. The only thing local are a few employees that don't get paid on time. The warehouse is in waipio he has a po box in Kailua do not do business ever with Alaka'i Inflatables and Party Rentals. I would give less than a 1 star if I could

Rented 7 rounds, 4 cocktail tables and 70 white chairs. Received a number of calls from the company to double check and to confirm the drop off and pick up. No communication issues. I had read some reviews that had me a little worried, but the communication was exactly what you would expect from a professional company.The chairs were not in the best condition, they probably should change a number of them out. They aren't broken, just rusted and dirty - but they do the job. I would recommend this company.I did not have any issues. The prices were less than the competition. The delivery and pick up was good. Communication good. I am not gonna knock off a star for the older chairs, every company has them and I don't think it is a deal breaker. Oh, they do not charge for delivery! that is the biggest difference between them and the competition. Other places wanted $150 for delivery!

I ordered the 5n1 waterslide , bouncer combo . They are very fast with setting up and breaking down . Rachel is very loving & sweet . Communication is never a problem . The whole crew is great . I recommend going to alaka'i for your party needs (:
