Five stars. A most excellent strip mall in the heart of Aiea town. It has a variety of ethnic restaurants, Mexican, Asian, and also a dessert place that rocks! There's a barber shop, florists, dry cleaning, insurance agents, and more!Roy Sakuma Ukulele Studios occupies the second floor, as well as other types of businesses. There used to be a Price Busters, but unfortunately they closed down. The parking is spacious, but gets cramped about 11:30am on Saturdays, so come early on those days. There's also a variety of restaurants across the street, but try not to park here to go there or vice versa. Parking is enforced here and there, so it's your risk to chance it.All in all, Aiea Commercial is quite an excellent shopping complex, right here in the heart of Aiea.Highly recommend!

Be aware about this center. If you park there and go elsewhere you WILL get slapped with a "citation" by Diamond Parking and a $40 fine!! After 15 days the fine increases to $70!! Can you say extortion?!Even if you patronize one of the shops there, then leave to go to one of the nearby shops or restaurants across the street, they will cite you. There are two people camped out in front of the old Pricebusters space whose only job is to police the parking lot. They sit there and watch people park and walk away, yet they do NOT even have the courtesy of warning them that the lot is only for businesses in that center. Upon further checking, I have found that the money from the fine goes DIRECTLY TO DIAMOND PARKING and possibly a small percentage to the center itself!!! This is a private lot, yet they feel that they can issue citations and fine unsuspecting patrons who will think that they have to pay! They have no connection with the City and County of Honolulu. The signs posted warn of being towed. No mention of any fines being issued.I understand if parking was at a premium, but there are lots of available stalls now that Pricebusters is gone. You have been warned.

We had a problem with our car after leaving Aiea Post Office. We were going to El Mariachi in this Plaza. We pulled in and found out we had a flat left rear tire. We pulled into a parking space. Couldn't drive on it for fear of damage to the rim. We went to change it and could not get the lugnuts off, so we CALLED AAA. We were going to go to a restaurant there while waiting, but it wasn't open. We walked right across the street to get something to drink. We ended up ordering lunch to go. My husband was just getting ready to go wait with the car. We had our flashers on. A gentleman came over and asked if that was our car. We said yes we have a flat tire and the tow company was on its way. He said ok and left. We were a bit puzzled as to why he questioned us. We did not know he was security. Ten minutes later, Unsung towing thankfully came and drove up to change our tire. After the guy was done, my husband walked over to get me. The gentleman came up to us and gave us a hard time, suggesting we could have pulled into the other parking lot, or parked on the street, which is not allowed. We didn't really get the chance to tell him we were originally going to go to a restaurant there. He just kept saying we could be towed. We understand he was doing his job, but where is the understanding that we had no choice but to pull off of the road? He saw us pull in and watched as we tried to change the tire, not once asking if we might need help. We kept trying to explain that we had a very flat tire, but his suggestion that we could have pulled in anywhere else was just ridiculous because we were originally going there! We put on the flashers and did not go far because we were waiting for the tow company, which thankfully were in the area and came pretty quick. There was no concern for the fact we could not move the car. He sat there and watched the tow company change the tire, watched my husband come and get me, so he knew we were leaving. Maybe a bit more training and some empathy could go a long way. We won't ever be patronizing a business over in that parking area again.

Weird interaction today. We are parked here so my other half can go get a haircut. I stay in the car but I had to go use the bathroom and I actually know a place that has bathroom at the other side, Aiea town square. Literally across the street. I step out of the car, car parking guy calls for me and lets me know I have to take the car. Even though my other half is getting a haircut right at this moment that's in Aiea commercial center. Like wtf I can't go to the bathroom across the street without moving the car idk man
