Delicious fresh sashimi bowl! Loved how savory and flavorful it was. Kind service. As others have mentioned, it was a bit hard to find, but you can ask around and it is in the food court prices are quite reasonable!

Dinner at Ala Moana Center in Honolulu, Hawaii...The largest outdoor shopping mall in the world is right here on the Island of Oahu! ...and there's FREE parking!One of our high school classmates was visiting from Iowa, and we decided to go to The Lanai (food court) on the Mall Level. It's located at the Macy's wing on the Mauka (mountain side) of the mall.Everyone chose what they wanted to eat: burgers, dimsum, Garlic French Fries, musubi, etc. There are so many vendors here at this clean venue. I think it's less crowded than the Makai Market Food Court, and the convenient restroom is probably cleaner because there are maybe fewer users? Haha!I chose Ahi & Vegetable because I have been to their original location in Kalihi. I know that they have fresh fish and veggies! This time, I didn't want to eat rice, so I got the Imitation Crab Salad... not bad with cucumber and tobiko! The dressing was alright!Service was efficient and friendly! I will return soon!

Picked up the eight piece nigiri sushi for lunch. No line today. The nigiri is kept in a refrigerated section and there are many choices. You can also have sushi, nigiri rice bowls, and bentos made to order. Area is nice and clean. Nice lady emphasized that the fish is fresh and never frozen!

This place is in the Lanai Food Court of Ala Moana mall. Was here for a quick lunch and just grabbed a poke bowl of their fridge. I took the Salmon and Maguro Bowl with Brown Rice. Hmmm both fish are fresh but brown rice a bit tough to eat because it's cold. But for $14 no complaints. My husband bought the Spicy Salmon and Maguro Bowl with white rice. Although cold, it was not as bad as the brown rice. My son bought the Spicy Ahi with Rice and it was freshly prepared so it's good. Fish is fresh and that's all that matters.

We're back ... when we at the mall about dinner time we head to ahi & vegetable, had my usual and it never disappoints. They also give us garlic sauce on the side for the ahi and salmon.Service is always good here, even if it's just a take out.

I've tried a few things here including their nigiri and udon. It's hit or miss I'd say. But when it's a hit, like that one time I got 4 pieces of toro nigiri for a good price, I felt like I got a great bargain! Those toro were not chewy at all. The other time I went back to check and they didn't look as good - looked like the cut could be chewy so I didn't buy them. I'm hoping to run into some good toro again here!My son tried their udon twice and he liked it, well so did I. If you're in the lanai food court, don't forget to check out what they offer!

My wife and I wanted a quick lunch so we swung by Ahi & Vegetable in Ala Moana. We are always satisfied with the bentos, we would also go to the location in downtown. The location in Ala Moana is just as good and fresh.

Ahi and Vegetable is a healthier option at the Lanai Ala Moana food court. I don't actually love their "vegetable" option though (raw fish over a very boring salad made exclusively of romaine and nothing else). I would recommend sticking with their rice bowls or nigiri. Their chirashi bowl was pretty tasty and fresh. The sushi rice was cooked well but could have used more seasoning as it tasted rather plain. All the fish is fresh, never frozen, which is great. Near closing time, their nigiri and bowls are $2 off, which is a nice way to save money at dinner. Compared to other poke/sashimi places I've had on the island, I'd give this 3.5 stars.

Did you know Ahi And Vegetable Alamoana breakfast bentos??? iPhone a spam fried rice was super and packed with lots of fried rice all for $6.00! Always great fresh food! My only dislike here is the 3% surcharge if you use a credit card or debit!
