It was absolutely delicious and big portions! We had the taro noodles and roast pork leaf noodles and both were amazing and super fresh. The purple yam macadamia cheesecake is so good, must get and not too sweet. Will definitely come back and visit again.

5/5 StarsWe all know Hawaii can be expensive, and this place is no exception--pasta dishes average around $30. But honestly, it's worth it for the quality and portion size.We ordered the Okinawan Ube Sweet Potato Pasta with Lechon (Pork Belly) & Garlic, the Malunggay Pasta with Lechon, and the Malunggay Pasta with Coconut Sauce, Shrimp & Garlic. Everything was amazing, but the pork belly was the real standout--definitely one of the best we've had in Hawaii. If you're worried about the pasta getting soggy overnight, don't be! I left some in the fridge for an extra day, and when I reheated it, it still tasted great. Highly recommend!

I ordered ahead of time because I already know about the wait. I ordered the Macadamia Crusted Fish, U e Special & Taro Special.I asked for pick up at 1:30, & got there at 1:30.Macadamia Crusted Fish- it has no flavor. It's not crusty. It was soggy. I wouldn't get it again.Ube Special (Lechon & Stir Fry)- this dish is known as a "best seller" it was SOAKING in oil. It wasn't crispy at all. Not worth it.Taro Special (shrimp, luau leaves, mushrooms, & coconut cream sauce)- This dish was okay. Not worth waiting for or running to go try it. Not enough shrimp. Not enough sauce.I also got 1 Cheesecake (haven't tried it yet) & 2 Arizona Green Tea's which they charge $4.39 for ONE GREEN TEA!! Insane! You can go to Times & get it for 99 CENTS.My total for 3 plates, 2 Arizona's & 1 Cheesecake was $103. It wasn't worth the price. Way over hyped. I'd save yourself the trip honestly. But the front worker, Millie I believe her name. She is very nice!

I seriously wish I could give them 10 stars! Adela's Country Eatery was recommended by our family and we are so happy we visited! We watched a few reviews on youtube as well (Shout out to Sean Kaleponi aka The Hawaiian Traveler) so we had a good ideas of what we wanted to try and got some tips for ordering ahead since the time to prepare the meals was usually around 35-40 minutes. We called in our order since we were headed out to Kaneohe and timed it just right to where it would be ready by the time we got there. Upon arrival, there was plenty of parking since we came in the morning. I will say though if it is busy, the parking lot could get crowded, so plan accordingly. We were greeted by Auntie Millie's sweet face and soft voice. Checkout and payment was a breeze. They provided us with utensils and plates to share. Check out their desserts in the glass case, they all looked so yummy.Once we paid, it was a short wait until our meal was ready. We ended up ordering the malungay pasta with lechon kawali and also their garlic ulu with portabello mushrooms. The portions they gave were very generous. Enough to feed my family of 3 twice with what we ordered. It's hard to describe the intense joy we got from eating here. The noodles are cooked to perfection and the flavor pairings of noodles to protein were magical! Our favorite was the Malungay pasta and lechon kawali. They do have noodles you can bring home to cook yourself, but we knew we could never replicate the wonderful dishes we had, so we made a promise that the next time we were on Oahu, we would visit and eat there at least twice to try the other dishes.Overall, this place was amazing and one of the best things we ate on this recent trip. We are definitely fans and will be back for all of our future trips.

I've heard so much about Adela's! Did a takeout order for the lechon marunggay pasta, they ask if you want it spicy or non spicy, got it spicy with ube cheesecake as the dessert. Was told the wait time would be around 30-45 minutes. Picked it up 40 mins later. Portions are big enough to eat with two people. I recommend sharing unless you prefer to save it and then eat for later. I wouldn't say i'm a picky eater but I was afraid of the marunggay noodles tasting too much like veggies but it was the opposite. It is one of the best tasting pasta noodles i've ever had! Always choose it spicy when asked spicy or non spicy! It's not that overbearing with spice, it's a good spice that brought all the flavors together within the noodles. The lechon was tasty with the vinegar sauce. Poured some of the sauce all in the food and the other half of the sauce I used to dip that lechon in it. Ube cheesecake was delicious. I love anything ube so I wasn't disappointed and it was a great after dessert. Employees are nice and friendly. This place definitely deserves its hype. Would come again.

Best food I had during our trip to Hawaii! This place is take out only. We arrived around 4pm on a Sunday and waited around 40mins-an hr, plan accordingly. Both pastas were full of flavor and tasted delicious. It's definitely a full plate and could feed two. Not only was the food good but the service was part entertainment. The cashier was helpful and quick to take orders. 10/10 highly recommend!

An iconic spot in Kaneohe that gets busy, but well worth it if you can try for yourself. The pasta is super rich and flavorful, you'll have no issue feeling full after your finished with your meal. I loved the garlic noodles and mushrooms, and my friends loved the taro/ube noodles and short ribs. One of the best local spots to support and check out on-island- Miguel Morales Photography

My 2nd time coming to Adelas. It's a nice treat when on the East side! First visit was a couple years ago; I got the Malunggay noodles w/ lechon kawali and I can say it's my favorite. I did a walk in order & wait time was about 30min.Second time here only 3 days ago & now the wait time is about 2 hours! Glad we did a phone order before leaving Ewa Beach. This time I tried the Taro noodles w/ coconut cream, shrimp & mushrooms. It was delicious! But I'll stick with lechon kawali lol it's so fresh & crunchy! Pairs so well with the Malunggay noodles! They did get kinda pricy; but that's with handmade house noodles. You can't get this anywhere else! We paid about $130 for 4 plates; two of which were just fried rice & the other a meat plate.
