I stopped by this store to grab some food and snacks. A lot of good options. The musubi was delicious for breakfast along with a nice banana and apple. These stores are convenient and absolutely everywhere for anything you need.

When I'm in the islands I always drop by an ABC Convenience store. I always pick up a local water and some little trinkets to bring back home. This place has food, snacks, beverages, clothes, etc! One stop shop!

ABC stores are all over the island, but the customer service here put this location over the top. Our family came to get some souvenirs and there are lots of options and some good deals. My 11 year old son accidentally knocked a magnet off a rack that had a little bottle of sand on it and the bottle broke and sprinkled sand and glass on the floor. We told a worker and they cleaned it up right away. When my son went and told the manager what he'd done she was very gracious to him and didn't make him pay, but told him he did the right thing in being honest. This taught him a valuable lesson in taking responsibility for his mistakes, even if it means you have to deal with consequences. We're so grateful for the kind staff at this store.

I didn't know about these ABC stores and how they were a staple in Hawaii. I don't remember seeing these in Maui, but I'm sure there are some there. My friend said it's a must to try the spam musubis there... so I got a spam musubi LOL.It feels similar to any convenience store, most comparably to 7-Eleven (though they have 7-Elevens in HI as well), and they have some local goods as well. It's a great place to grab something you may have missed during your grocery shopping and I believe most are open very late or 24 hours. My spam musubi was pretty solid - I mean the vibe, paired with spam and rice and cheap prices -- what else can possibly go wrong? It's a great place to spend a good chunk of your money and be OK with it. Why? Because it's Hawaii.

Aloha Brings Customers. I love this place. It's like a 7-11 but better. And there is one ever few yards. You can snacks, souvenirs, beach supplies, alcohol.... A must visit if in Hawaii...

It was imperative for us to get to the ABC store and purchase Doraemon plush toys. Since we had planned our original trip over three years ago my child who is obsessed with Doraemon wanted to visit and purchase the character's products. They do not sell many of these products in the US, it is not that well known of a character, so she was extremely excited to come to Hawaii and find them. Mission successful and complete! She now has almost every single plush available plus a key chain and a bag. We were so happy this still carried these products even after such a long wait to finally get here. I also got the tuna hand roll. Those are so good I can't even describe how sad I am that I cannot just walk down the street and grab one right now.

You can find an ABC store about every 100 feet in Waikiki. That might be a slight exaggeration, but there are a ton of them all over the place. The stores are well maintained and you can find pretty much anything you want at these stores. Need a t-shirt, wooden tiki, shot glasses, or a snack? They have you covered. The workers were nice and friendly. Went to a total of four ABC stores while in Waikiki and they were all nice.

I went to this store with my friend to celebrate his birthday so we were all getting shots. We picked them up from the front of the store and walked to the back to get some Gatorade. On the way there my girlfriend and I heard "do you guys need a basket" coming from one of the workers. We politely said no and it didn't bother me. She replied "well it looks like you guys are stealing" and yelled across the store and the rest of her coworkers to follow me around store because "I don't look 21 and I was planning to steal". She then followed us around the entire store constantly making rude and demeaning comments until I paid for our stuff and left. I don't know what made her think I was stealing but this is by far the worst ABC experience I've ever encountered and the workers here are rude, arrogant and snobby. I get there's a protocol when you suspect someone is stealing, but falsely accusing them of stealing leaves a bad taste in my mouth (worse than those vodka shots). Don't go here unless you want to be profiled. Terrible

I love these ABC stores. They're the best place to get souvenirs for your friends/family back home. Their best items usually showcase T-shirts, hair ties, hair pins that are reasonably priced (especially after you have blown your $$$ on food and lodging). ABC Is always a good pit stop for me before heading back to the mainland. Everybody is happy with their (cheesy) gifts and I manage to earn browny points among my clan!
