Minimum 2lb order per person. Lots of selection. If you come before 11am it's not super busy and wait time is minimal. Ambiance isn't the best but it's a clean meat market! What more can you ask for- quick service and good selection.Parking in back- I think? Would come back- can't wait to try and make meat jun at home! WholeOrder took less than 5 min to order and pay.Cost per lb was about 5$.Pretty affordable for the 1/8 inch cut of beef knuckle.

This Whole sell place located right on Waikamilo in the heart of Kalihi, they are the place to get you meats and seafood. All their Ahi is caught here locally and cut daily. They also have a variety of Meats to choose from, so if you are a back yard cook or a pro chef... check them out for pricing. They sell whole sale and retail, walk ins welcome and they do take EBT. Best to call ahead or just go in and talk to the ladies in the office to the left hand side when you go in.

Was looking forward to purchasing some meats. As my sister and I was talking to the lady through the window in the store, had 3 guys behind the counter, and the biggest guy start yelling "cockroach cockroach" all 3 of them laughing and giggling and looking at us. The lady didn't do anything wrong, she was trying to help us, but because of them, I just closed the window and walked away. I have a cockroach phobia. Not sure if that was a joke or not, but they just lost a, would have been good customer.

I come here for the Ahi belly every so often. Its alway cut fresh daily so there's no problem with freshness.Although I haven't tried the waygu beef, I always see it in the window. Sometimes it looks fresh but sometimes its a different shade of color like a dull red. I haven't seen any grey ones like other reviews have mentioned. If it was that color I wouldn't buy it in the first place. At $19.50 lb it's kinda expensive for a small 3 or 4 lb piece. I'd rather go Costco and buy some boneless shortribs. Besides, its not real wagyu. The real stuff comes from Japan and raised under much stricter conditions at a much more premium price. This is more "just like wagyu" stuff imo. Customer service wise, the young Japanese butcher is really nice. That's the guy I deal with whenever I go there. If he's not there then it's one of the ladies behind the window on your left. They are friendly but it's safe to say they seem like they could be easily pissed off so I tread lightly. Kinda like a soup nazi tread so to speak.Saying that, I would continue to come back to this place. I haven't pissed anyone off yet so I should be in good standing.

Ordered a 21 day dry aged prime cut roast. At $13.50 per pound I would hope it would be dry aged. When I got home and opened the pink paper wrap, i found the meat wet with its blood. Almost like you opened the package and wrapped it up. When you cut into a dry aged the blood should not be oozing out. Or that is what ive seen on many food blogs, even tv foodnet work. And if it was dry aged, then you would see the surrounding areas trimmed to take off the dried parts, but it didnt. Do they have a drying room? Please post the picture your drying room, as I am very unsure of this. And would gladly retract this. Also i was told I had to purchase the entire rib roast even though I only wanted half of it. When I picked up my order I saw other halves and when I questioned how did they get to have halves. I was told by the front window woman that they got to sell the other half??? Huh? I did cut a slice at the one of the ends and didnt see any signs that it was dry aged at all. Wish I saw all of these problems before coming down. Buyer beware!

Disappointing. The quality of the meat is fine, although it was fairly grey when pulled from the package. There is no information on the pre-packaged meats to give you an idea of when the meat was butchered. If that were the only complaint, I would have been happy with it.The disappointing part is HOW the meat is butchered: very sloppily. One t-bone purchased was about 1 1/4 inches thick on one end but only 1/2 an inch on the other, making it impossible to cook evenly. The bone itself, however, was a solid 2 + inches thick, making it heavier than the meat itself. Very odd.The stew meat was a disgrace - teeny tiny pieces mixed in with huge sinewy chunks. Flat pieces hacked off of other bits and tossed in, no uniformity whatsoever. Yes, it is stew meat, but at least some level of consistency in terms of the size of the chunks is required for even cooking. We had higher hopes. Too bad.

Tried out this place since a coworker had a flyer from them from one of their workers having a sale on ahi and steaks. Ribeye steaks 10 pounds for 65 bucks. Ok, ill bite since the pics in the flyer looked good. However after opening the box, the steaks were cut in half and looked like they were frozen for a while.....the meat was dark burgundy red instead of the bright red in the pictures. Grilled them rare, they were quite tough. But i guess ypu get what you pay for, 6 bucks a pound not bad but they should put actual product pics on their sales flyer, not falsely advertise. Fool me once, never again.

Could not go lower than 1 star. If you like rude service, this is your place...the lady at the counter could get away with the rudeness if the meat was incredible but man, go Costco instead.

I came in for Ribeye that we have been using to serve ourccustomers over Summer Salad, and Imet Sandy and her husband? She was super nice and helpful. She said they go through many cases a day, so they can even select what I like for me; less fat, more fat, round, flat, etc.. just call and let her know what I need. She also gave me good price too. She had her staff took the box to my car for me. Thank you for a wonderful experience. I will definitely look into other products next time i visit too.
