A Catered Experience

Have been ordering from A Catered Experience for years and the service and quality of food items is unmatchable! Team members Rem, Richie and Jodie consistently go above and beyond to be of service to the customer and are all excellent Ambassadors of the "A Catered Experience" brand! Highly recommended this company for any catering needs!

Decided to write another review since the first one was based on their customer service. Gave 5 stars specifically for the taste of the food which was for a funeral, they have 3 options. We chose funeral bento 3 since it offered a nice variety and couldn't respond on taste since I just got to try it for the first time after the funeral, everything was tasty, lots of compliments from our guests so have recommended this company highly.Having to taste the food first is way better than word of mouth since everyone has their own take on what is good. So try them out! Our delivery was on time, I tipped the driver for his attentiveness.

Ordered 325 mini bento #1 for our service at Diamond Head Memorial Park.Delivered on time and the correct quantity.Great service but even better food, our guests there ALL enjoyed their personal bento lunches, very consistent high quality food.Will surely, use them again!

Order my Thanksgiving Turkey, First time here, use to go to Zippy's. The difference is the Turkey is ready to eat, you don't have to warm it up. Everything was really fast 10min in line drive thru. Very organized, a lot of people directing traffic. They even had a live band playing music. Load everything in your car. Pick up was at the Okinawa Center in Waipio. Recently ordered a large bento order from here for my Daughter's birthday party.The ease of ordering on line was so convenient. Prices and pictures were very clear. The website was very user friendly. I selected and paid for everything all through their website. Prices for their made to order bentos were very reasonable. I believe in being realistic with food prices with cost of ingredients and ever rising inflation yet their prices cannot be beat. It's not the cheapest but a deal in terms of quality, freshness and reliability. The food was very delicious. We ordered a total of 70 bentos. We selected a bento that had fried fish, spam, hot dog and teriyaki chicken. Portions were BIG, fish was still crispy and the chicken was very juicy. They provided utensils and napkins with every bento. Such a great experience ordering through them.I will never order anywhere else and will always recommend them to anyone.Mahalo!

I've catered with them 2 times already. The first time was back in 2022. I ordered their bentos and had it delivered to my home for my drive-by baby shower. The second time was just last week for my daughter's 2nd birthday party at a party venue. Food was delivered on time at scheduled time. Food was hot, fresh, packed well. They even provide the paper plates, napkins, and disposable eating utensils. Communication with company through email was very easy. Fast responses and always welcoming if I had questions/concerns.I will continue to cater with them for future gatherings.

The Hawaiian food is great! The Lomi salmon was the bomb, I could eat an entire bucket of it! The chicken is so moist and flavorful, the kalua pig not too salty. Everything was great! We even got to do a taste test before we finalized our order. 10/10 experience!

Very disappointing. Food has no unique flavor. I would have thought that the Okinawa Center has better taste than that. But I heard that there isn't a choice when having a function there.

FAST, RELIABLE, GREAT FOOD. My go to place for catering bentos for events, highly recommend for funeral bento/catering. Always a MUST for Thanksgiving dinners and Christmas, New Years pick up lunch/dinner. Thanksgiving pick up - the MOST ORGANIZED way of picking up your food... drive up and they put it in your car... and they had music to entertain in the short time you drive through pick up. Love how effecient they are.. ... not to mention the food. Always used them for company catered events too because they delivered and always on time or ahead of time. NEVER failed me. Prices are great for what you get. I actually really like their vegetarian bentos. Their sandwich platters are good too, and of course their sushi taste better than picking up from Times or Foodland. Sushi taste like grandma's sushi... NISHIME is like grandma's too... it's the best... I order extra during holidays just to KEEP for myself! Oh, and they give a lot... Of course everyone likes Chinese chicken salad and somen salad... just like grandma's too... for company lunches, we used to order their wrap platters which were very popular with various salad options. They are very accommodating. ORDER THANKSGIVING NOW!!!
