7Gradi Gelato

7Gradi Gelato means 7 degrees in Italian. They have unique machines to turn/fold the gelato to keep at 7 degrees. It's quite interesting. It's located near Moku Kitchen - not too far. The staff were patient and accommodating. Being a first timer, I wasn't sure what to taste first and what to combine flavors with. Having their opinions helped me make a decision. I wasn't interested in eating the gelato at the moment of purchase, but later at home. They had a to go insulated bag for the gelato. I felt spoiled! I liked how they had these insulated bags for those who want to eat it at a later time rather than a paper bag. It shows the owners passion towards their product and want the customers to enjoy the gelato. This means a lot to me and probably to many others.After tasting the gelato and asking for recommendations, I ordered the matcha and riso (rice). It was a great combination! The servings were generous and my tummy was quite happy!When the store had no customers, Tracy O. asked if they could take a picture of us. The staff were so sweet to take our pictures. Highly recommend this place in SALT if you're craving a sweet treat and you're in town! I've been here several times already and have brought many friends here after grabbing food in the SALT area or nearby. There are many different flavors you can pick from and you're allowed to sample them before making your pick. Usually I'm not super hungry when I'm here so I go for the single scoop which allows me to get 2 flavors. They offer larger sizes and have pint sizes in a freezer.There are tables outside you can sit out to enjoy your sweet treat or can walk around eating it. There is a parking garage nearby and you can get the ticket validated here or neighboring restaurants.

If you're on the hunt for a sweet treat at SALT in Kakaako, this gelato is next level! Extremely creamy and with so many delicious flavors to choose from. Pair it with one of their waffles and it's a match made in heaven. They don't do cones, only cups that you can combo up with their french waffles. And if you get a single scoop, you can actually still choose up to two flavors and if you get a double you can choose up to three flavors. More than just a plain waffle, you can get it with cinnamon or cocoa -- and even get a waffle set that includes any 4 waffles. The staff here are so friendly and always so accommodating to giving out samples since they always have a rotation of flavors- there's always something new to try. The mascarpone oreo and ube are staple favorites of mine. They don't always have it, but when they do have the black sesame -- I will always get a scoop of that! The ube and matcha are another classic combo that hits the spot. There are a few outdoor communal tables out front and around SALT, but if you're getting just a cup of gelato, I highly recommend walking around the shops and neighborhood.

One of my favorite gelato spots on the island -- 7Gradi is located in SALT in Kakaako with garage and street parking. The gelato is yummy and the waffles are too. The flavors are a good amount of sweet with a greater depth of flavor than a lot of other gelatos that I've had. The space is tiny but it's a good treat to walk around SALT with. The service has been fast and they've been kind each time we've been. We hope this place sticks around SALT for a while!

Lots of flavor options in this small gelato shop. Good spot to fulfill your sweet treat cravings if you're looking for something in the SALT structure. Seating can only be found in the public benches outside.

7gradi is still a favorite whenever I am in the area. I love bringing visitors here because they can try high quality gelato in local flavors. My go to now is the dark chocolate sorbet because i can no longer have dairy. My friends have tried the strawberry and mango and they a both so fresh! Parking is validated! Remember to bring your ticket. I like to visit the small shops in the area while I enjoy my gelato.

i am actually obsessed with this gelato shop and went here 3 times on my 5-day trip to honolulu. the flavors are plentiful, unique, and delicious. i've never had sorbet that tastes as good as gelato. the dark chocolate is rich, as are the fruity flavors, and pair really well with the more creamy gelatos like marshmallow biscoff. guava yogurt was another favorite. one caveat is some flavors take time to make.

7Gradi Gelato is strategically placed across Vein in Kaka'ako. The staff are really nice and they give you free samples. We all had different flavors but I opted for the ube and banana cream. Super delicious! Have a seat outside where you can enjoy the hustle and bustle at SALT.
