I heard ownership has changed and unfortunately, the food is not as good as before. I came here twice previously, and the chicken with pasta was excellent. But on this visit, it was really different. The sauce was creamier and more oily. Definitely not what it was before.

I happened into this place shortly after I started working a couple blocks away, about a year ago. It's like a typical carry-out plate lunch style place, but a whole lot better than the norm. The food is always so good--pretty much no matter what you order. I'm especially partial to their "seafood trio" (salmon, shrimp, and ahi in cream sauce). Crab cakes are also super good--but then again, I've never had a bad meal there.Highly recommended.

Place looks nice and clean. I ordered the chicken Katsu and was pretty disappointed. See picture and you can be the judge.

They don't have a huge menu with dozens upon dozens of menu items, but what they do have they do well. The quality of the food and cooking is mostly consistent. The meals will cost around $7-11 and are all served for take out. There are 6 tables available for those who want to eat on the premises or wait for their order to be ready. My favorite meal from this restaurant is the Ahi Katsu, which is a good size piece of breaded ahi covered in a wasabi and sweet sauce with your choice of white or brown rice and mixed greens.

Must Have... Ahi Katsu. Let's just say you will be pleasantly surprised and your tummy will thank you. I would have gave it a 5 star rating if it were not for the nuked veggies (no formal salad, just vegetables under the fish) but the fish and the sauce is EXCELLENT!
