24-7 is such a fun time for me! Taking classes here is something I'd like doing if I lived on the Windward side. There are a lot of skilled and motivated pupils in the studio. In Oahu, this is the greatest place to get started in professional dance training for yourself or your kid. The teachers at this school are excellent, and they seem to be cultivating youthful potential. Kayla is the best in my opinion!

This place is located in the Windward mall. (Who doesn't like coming here?) The main manager, Mr. Allen is awesome and extremely friendly! He will do his utmost to keep all parents informed of what's going on and when! He is very honest, about all requests and genuinely cares about your keiki's well being!Instructors just rock! I haven't gotten to know their names by heart (sorry it's a generic remembering names problem I have), but they love their students!Everyone is very accommodating for any of concerns you have.I know they have had some strong dancers get into big acts, don't really know enough about dance to say more about that.Rates are quite reasonable to.

247 Danceforce is about heart, hardwork, more hardwork and MORE HEART!Not only do they put on some of the most AMAZING SHOWS I've seen on this island, but director and creator Marcelo Pacleb has a talent for not only picking out top notch talent, but he also has the ability to get you to discover the talent and confidence that you didn't know you had in you.Let's get back to shows...OMG! I MEAN...OMFG! If you've NEVER seen a "Live Concert" performance by 247...you're missing out....and I mean it. When I say, "Live Concert" I'm not only talking about some KICK ASS choreography and dancing...I'm talking about LIVE MUSIC with AMAZING MUSICIANS. I'm talking about LIVE VOCALS with PHENOMENAL SINGERS! I'm talking about THE BEST SHOW YOU WILL EVER SEE! I'm not joking around here. Check out this link from their last concert if you don't believe me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rJ61VdBJV68Marcelo Pacleb and his talented staff of choreographers put on productions live you've never seen before. They think WAY out of the box and will absolutely blow your mind with what they come up with! Dancing in a giant snow globe? DONE IT!Hidden away in Kaneohe...don't be fooled by this "dance studio in a mall." 247 is the former and current dance studio to not only Hawaii's top dancers, but some top dancers period. Don't believe me? Check it:Gil Duldulao (choreographer to Janet Jackson)Mark Kanemura (So You Think You Can Dance, Lady Gaga)Leo Moctezuma (Christina Aguilera, Pink, Britney Spears)Pono Aweau (So You Think You Can Dance, Madonna)Cara Horribe (America's Best Dance Crew, Fanny Pak)Cole Horribe (So You Think You Can Dance)Laurel Thomson (Janet Jackson)Whyley Yoshimura (Janet Jackson, Rhianna)Yoori Kim (Janet Jackson, Kylie Minogue)....just to name a few.247 Danceforce Studios is also the home to half of "8 Flavahz" from America's Best Dance Crew!Seriously....I could go on and on about how AWESOME this place is and how it pushes local Hawaii kids to not only go for their dreams, but to work hard for it and to remember it's all about team work.Check it out for yourself...you won't be disappointed.WORD!

I do not currently take dance classes.I do not currently have my children enrolled in classes.HOWEVER.If I were to do either of those two things, which are probably going to happen in the not-too-distant future, I would absolutely 1000% choose 24-VII studios as they are incredible.I have a dance degree (was an EXCELLENT idea back when I lived at home and my dad cooked my food for me and paid my phone bill) and several years of choreography/teaching under the old belt. Therefore I feel I am an astute judge of quality. I have also watched a lot of youtube. BAM. Dance expert.24-VII danceforce has their shiz together. I attend the dance concerts just for fun because they are AWESOME. Choreography is on point, dancers are well trained, performance quality is out of this world, and it is a glorious experience every time. "You love dance, aren't all dance concerts glorious?"NO. No they are not. Yes, there are other studios on the island that are decent. But there are also other dance studios that are just... weak sauce. And sitting through a performance by one to those studios is like having your eyeballs stabbed with hot pokers and you feel like "Why? WHY DOESN'T ANYONE SEE HOW PAINFULLY BAD THIS CHOREOGRAPHY IS?!!!" WHY??!!!! WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO ME?!!!"But I digress. The students training at this studio are clearly expected to work hard and pour their whole hearts into their dance. The bar is very high, which is as it should be. You could send your child to a warm, fuzzy, low-key studio where he/she will feel like winner because everyone is a winner in their tepid, mediocre routines. OR you could send them here and they will actually end up good. Really good. Even great. And what's the point in doing something if you don't want to be great?Fun?You know what's fun?Being great.Don't get me wrong, I know several parents with small children at 24-VII who are having a blast. I've also heard other parents complain about "the environment" to justify why their kid is enrolled at some subpar studio. What about the environment? You mean the excellence? Is that what you don't like? Afraid of your kid having competition because he/she might, gasp, not be the best? Please. This review is turning out more negative than I intended it to. I think I have low blood sugar. At any rate, I have incredible respect for 24-VII. In fact, I have a secret dream to rebuild my dance chops and dance with them someday. I figure if I put on enough makeup and stand in the back, I'll blend and no one will be all "Good Gods, who is that middle-aged woman dancing with those young things?!!"Lots. Lots of makeup. And maybe it would help if I had abs. And, like, a masquerade mask.I need to stop writing.24-VII is awesome and anyone serious about dance should train there and their concerts are the best. Yes.

I love 24-7! I wish I lived on the Windward side so I could take class here more often. The studio has a ton of students, all of whom are very talented and very driven. If you or your child is thinking about pursuing dance professionally, this is arguably the best place on Oahu to take class. The instructors here are great and they seem to do a good job of nurturing young talent. Some of the studio's former students have gone on to perform for Janet Jackson; others have made it onto TV shows like So You Think You Can Dance. Even though they (currently) do not offer any formal ballet classes, their technique/progressions classes do focus on some ballet technique, and this is reflected in the caliber of their students' dancing! Their hip hop classes are amazing and probably what most people come here for. The jazz classes are good too, but I really wish they offered a lyrical jazz class! While I do like the style of jazz that they teach here, it is a bit different from the style of jazz I was trained in (which was more flowy/lyrical/balletic).My only (minor) gripe with this studio is the registration fee. All students are required to pay a $15 nonrefundable registration fee at the start of each term (there are 3 terms/year). This includes people who just want to drop-in for class once in awhile, like me. So while the classes themselves are pretty affordable compared to other studios in Hawaii, the registration fee can make it quite expensive if you only attend one or two classes per term. FYI it is $13 for a 1 hr class, $15 for a 1.5 hr class, and $18 for a 2 hr class. Most of the studios I took class at on the mainland didn't require drop-in students to pay a registration fee. I guess Hawaii is different. All in all, though, I really do love this studio. It is located in Windward Mall, which I think was an amazing idea because some studios are in really bad locations with horrible parking! There is never a shortage of parking here. ALL of the instructors here are so talented and amazing. Class sizes run fairly large (20ish in my jazz class) but you still get a decent amount of individual attention. Also, the ladies who run the front desk at the studio are pretty much the nicest ladies ever. I am so envious of all the Kaneohe/Kailua kids who can take class here regularly.

24/7 Dance Force Studio is an amazing place to learn. They have produced all-star dancers for years. Mark Kanemura, Kupono Aweau and Cole Horibe have all become finalists on So You Think You Can Dance, with Kanemura going on to become one of Lady Gaga's lead dancer. 8 Flavahs soared on MTV's America's Best Dance Crew. The Force has been the resident Dance Company fir the Miss Hawaii Scholarship Pageant. It's Director/Choreographer Marcelo Pacleb is the nucleus of an amazing staff that rivals worldwide staffers from all over the world. This studio is top notch, award winning, and star making...spread the word!!

I only just found out about this studio yesterday when I was taking my daughter to the store next door to get her COVID vaccine. While we were waiting socially distanced against the railing, which is about 10 feet away, security came and told the clinic that the studio complained we were scaring their business away and they couldn't have people line up in front of their store. Guy came out complaining and we all had to move. POS dance studio if you ask me.

I've been going to this studio since I was four and I've had amazing memories here. I remember being so excited to go every Saturday to class and dance my heart out. As I got older, this "memorable experience" didn't last very long. The adult classes are so competitive and the choreographers love picking favorites. Long story short, if you're not up to their "level" of dancing skills, the dancers talk behind your back, will be super fake to you and will not be friends with you. I remember that it was the most toxic environment I've ever been in. Also the director, Marcelo, was only kind to me when I was paying lots of money towards the studio. I don't recommend anyone going here if you want to take classes for fun.
