This historical building was built in 1952 with funds provided by the soldiers while they trained on the mainland from June 1942 to August 1943 and when they entered combat in September 1943 until war's end. The veterans, when they returned home in 1945-46, dedicated the building to their comrades who died while serving overseas. It's a great resource for those looking to learn more about the 100th Battalion, commonly known as The Purple heart Battalion. Please phone or email the office to make arrangements to visit the building as well as with your questions regarding this unit.
