Do Not buy food from their frozen section. Either the freezers don't work well or they try to save money on the energy bill by having freezer on the lowest setting. All the frozen food is thawed out and soft inside the packaging. This is a health risk. Not safe to consume after being left raw for who knows how long. I purchased soup dumplings, by the time I got home to cook they were so raw all the dough was ripping apart when I tried to separate them. I had to throw away $50 of groceries because I didn't want to risk my families health. Even a yogurt I bought had a slimy film on top and it was before the expiration date.

The cashiers are rude and selfish, when my mom tried to put fruit into the bag, the manager threatened my mom to call the police, bruh, we don't need to have a shopping cart we just grab a plastic bag because we don't buy a lot of supplement or food. I and my mom will never go to this Hong Kong food market in our life.

This place has the freshest produce, seafood and meats. When you step into HongKong market, it's like you've been transported to a land far, far away. The smells and textures leave you in amazement! Their fruits and veggies are exotic, excellent for those hard to find items. I am fascinated by the packaging. This go-round I bought two different types of jelly in a cup, wasabi chips and the drink that comes in a glass bottle that has a glass marble inside! (Don't worry, you won't choke on it.) It's very trendy. At the check out counter they had fresh orchids, some of the biggest I've seen. This is definitely one of my favorites!

This market has most common ingredients you may need to cook up something authentic and delicious- for Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese, and most Asian cuisines. Lots of selection for very fresh herbs- mints and commonly used Asian spices and seasonings- limited selection on meats and cuts, and most is sold behind the counter. Quality is still pretty fresh!

First time coming here. Good sized asian market geared more towards Vietnamese products which was nice because they had all the specific items and ingredients that I needed for dinner. They have a pretty clean seafood section and well stocked with a variety of seafood. They have taro leaves which for some reason is hard to find, but this place is well stocked and I was looking for them to make some pork laulau (famous Hawaiian dish).Staff are friendly and fast. Short lines and the place is a lot cleaner than most traditional asian markets lol. Large parking lot surrounded by Vietnamese restaurants and shops.

I've been going to this Food Market since we moved here from California and I'm not sure if other people are having the same experience or not. Personally, I've never had an issue coming to this shop, and I will agree the smell in the market can be off-putting to some, but the smell is similar in other Asian food markets. The freshest time to get seafood is early mornings on weekends! I will admit the hour's change quite often, especially for the Bahn mi station, but they have their hours posted and updated! I'm unsure if the website is updated with the hour changes though. If the food station is not open, there are other varieties of food to choose from for a meal. I will also admit that every time I have gone to this food market to shop, there is little to minimum talk between the cashier and the customers being checked out, but I'm assuming there is a language barrier and I'm thinking it's easier for the cashiers to check out the needed items and proceed with the following customer. It is dismissive but fast and efficient unless you have questions. It's important to remember the language barrier with the people working there, but also it would be helpful to use a translator app if it becomes frustrating. I personally recommend this shop to my friends, but my experience is not the same as others so please take it with a grain of salt!

Supplies are very limited. Produce aren't fresh. Apparently the price sticker on the items doesn't match when they ring you up. Bought some meatballs, sticker price was $3.74 but they charged me $5.79! I had asked her how much she just told me that's the "old price". How long has this product been sitting there? Only went here cause I just needed one thing and it was closer to me. Never again!

I am frequently shopping this store for all of my wife cooking, and the manager was very nice and provides sub par services when I bought a bunch of QV food cans, which was our fault, so we got refund quite quickly and easily, no questions asked. It's so much appreciated to her by us. We are happy campers after all. Thank you so much Hong Kong Food Market.
