Honeymoon Sweets European Bakery

I was looking for a REAL bakery in Phoenix and discovered this. After viewing their website I decided to try it. I ordered 4 different types of dessert, wanting to try them all! My eyes are bigger than my stomach! I ordered online and got confirmation by text and email. Their communication is great! They kept me in touch, reminding me to pick up the product, and when it was ready.They are located on a corner, but it is easy to miss it. Only 2 businesses at their location. Plenty of parking. easy to get into. Small shop. You can stop in and purchase from their display case as well as order in advance. I picked up: fruit tartlets, napoleons, lemon cake, and cherry crostata. My favorite was the little lemon cake. It was big enough for 2 people. The cake was light and moist with a little bit of lemon, the filling was a raspberry mousse - 1/2 inch of it! It was light, flavorfull and just delicious! The cake was perfect. Not too lemony, not too sweet. The fruit tartlets were fabulous! the filling was smooth, light, and just perfect. The fruit was fresh, the tart shell was fresh, firm but not too hard, and the combination was perfection! The napoleons were yummy! Delicious custard filling, with layers of puff pastry. They are best eaten by picking them up. Forget fork! Everythiing was delicious, and I would highly recommend this bakery! It was worth the drive!

Got to try the creme brulee tart, pistachio croissant, and chocolate croissant.5 stars for the creme brulee tart. SO GOOD and would return for that. Love the custard underneath and the crispy shell on top was so nice.Wish the pistachio croissant was a bit more moist, center was a bit dry and could have incorporated some pistachio cream. Chocolate croissant was good and standard as expected.Really nice staff and some seating inside. Would love to try their savory items next time.

Cute bakery in Tempe! I've been looking for a bakery where I can buy German chocolate cake, and this is the place. Yay!It's super cute with a few tables and chairs, and people were friendly. Got their German chocolate cake for my friend, sad I didn't get to try it. But got lemon cream pie for me, and it was so good. A bit pricey but they're yummy and can't wait to try other cakes!

I should have given 5 stars because of how happy and how much we enjoyed the cake! Kind of late but better late than never!!

Stopped in to pick up a to-go order and the pastry case looked amazing. I will definitely be back to try out some more amazing goodies!

Clean, quaint bakery with deliciousness! Excellent staff.Purchased personal chocolate birthday cake, chocolate mousse, and creme brulee. Oh my goodness - everything was delicious. Dropped by this bakery last minute to celebrate my husband's birthday and drop by his office that was literally down the street.

Stopped by here to scope out a possible birthday cake for my brother's upcoming birthday party. My family spent some time living abroad (in West Germany and Holland) when my brother and I were kids, so I thought a quality European bakery style cake was justified. Honeymoon Sweets did not disappoint! Once I saw the chocolate cake in the display case, I knew it would suit the occasion perfectly. The cake was fancy and made with a beautiful Belgian chocolate adornment. It survived the trip to and from the car in 110F+ summer weather conditions. I also picked up some other bakery snacks for my housemates... a pistachio crumbalini (kind of like a cro-nut croissant/donut hybrid) and an apple caramel tart. Outstanding and delicious baked goods (not cloyingly sweet but rich and refined) and a most pleasant pastry shopping experience!

Favorites so far - Rustic Almond Neapolitan and Key Lime tart! The Chocolate peanut butter cake - the deep favored chocolate overpowered the peanut butter taste. Petite Rainbow Neapolitan- liked the texture but lacking flavor Will be back to try more.

Two weeks ago we ordered several desserts through UberEats and really loved them.The next week we wanted to order some more desserts that are on the menu but they weren't on Uber eats available. I called the store and was met by an annoyed person, explaining rudely that of course it's not the same on the menu as on Uber eats. We decided to make the drive because the stores delivery service wasn't available to our address. We picked at least a dozen of items for a hefty price and when I opened the box at home two items I wanted weren't in there and two others I ordered were replaced by something else.The treats are good but it didn't feel like they cared much about their customers and just wanted to rush to get to the next person.

Great bakery in Tempe! It's hard to drive bye without stopping for many of their tasty treats! Especially for their morning pastries croissants, sticky buns, and the newly added flaxseed, blueberry lemon muffins. So now I can indulge in my guilty pleasures A must stop if you're in the area you won't be disappointed. Many cakes and pies and other guilty pleasures
