My friend and I came here for lunch on a weekend. The place was packed and so we were placed on the waiting list, but luckily didn't have to wait for more than 20 minutes to get a table.I've been here twice before and distinctly remember not being a fan of their ramen, mostly because they don't have a low-sodium option. Both the shoyu and vegetarian ramens were way too salty for my taste. At first, I was going to order sushi, but none of their rolls seemed very authentic as they all contained cream cheese. I thus decided to go with the SALMON IKURA BOWL and SIDE SALAD instead. The SALMON IKURA BOWL was larger than I had expected. It had a good amount of protein on top of sticky white rice, which I mixed together. The salmon was tasty and moist and the ikura (salmon roe) added that extra fish oil taste that I love- they are basically like savory popping boba. I wouldn't say it was anything out of this world, but it was much better than their ramen in my opinion. However, I regret ordering the SIDE SALAD. It was one of the worst salads I've had. It had raw cabbage, a little bit of shredded radish, a few sticks of celery, lettuce, and a random piece of broccoli with a very light drizzle of ginger sesame dressing. That was it. While I enjoy veggies in general, I was disappointed by the lack of flavor and thought put into it. I could've made a better salad at home.Service was decent. The waiters were friendly and attentive. The interior is trendy, but small. Bathrooms are clean.Overall: 3/5 for food, 4/5 for service, 4/5 for atmosphere

It's a good ramen place. Someone have told me about this place so I had to try it as a ramen lover. We ordered:-the tan-tan men:It was creamy and not as spicy as I expected. I guess the spice is tolerable. The only thing I would complain about is the saltiness of the broth. Yes it was rich and creamy but too much salt in my opinion. I am not sure if this is a personal preference though. -and the combo with gyoza and egg:The broth was good but not the best I've ever tried. The lard in it was just too fatty for some people but I was ok with it. My favorite part of this place is the esthetic and the perk for regulars (so many discount if you go multiple times after downloading their app)

Ramen restaurant in the middle of University Village. Modern decor. On the smaller side, sits 20-30 customers. They are a chain from Japan. Menu has some appetizers, rolls and a few different types of ramen.I got one of their combos, which is a bowl of tonkotsu shio ramen, a marinated egg, and a plate of half dozen gyoza. I like the tonkotsu shio broth. Has that nice pork bone brewed flavor, that creaminess. Decent ramen noodles and chashu. Marinated egg was pretty standard. I was not impressed by the gyoza. Frankly I think some of the frozen ones available in stores are better tasting. Combo was $20 before tax and tip... in line with Seattle prices I guess. 3.5 stars, I'll round up to 4 since I liked the main dish.

Excellent ramen, superb broths. Typical Japanese style interior. Fast service. A little bit of a wait for a table but worth it.

Ordered the Karamiso Ramen and Takoyaki and they were both really delicious! The regular got me full, but it is a little smaller than a regular size at other ramen shops. If you're really hungry, it only cost $1 to upgrade to a large!

Avoided this place for a while because of Yelp rating and from the outside it looks like college food. Here to give it the boost it deserves. Extensive menu more than just ramen - they also have sushi and katsu/bento box choices, which makes it perfect for the indecisive. They have set menus and seasonal specials! Food also comes with fancy sauces.Really friendly service - they work fast and hard here and the ones holding back the line are honestly the absent-minded customers who can't keep up to speed.Quality of food - is really good considering it really does cater to the college demographic. On par with the ramen restaurants in Capitol Hill, and a hundred times better than Kizuki.Plus they have a generous rewards program. The only con is that there really is a long line at all hours of the day. Be prepared to wait and be patient!

This place always has a line... And with good reason. Today was particularly rainy and cold, so there was nothing more promising than the pork broth with the slight sheen of fat for flavor and girth. I ordered the kimchi ramen ($16) which came with 2/2 slices of egg, a thick slice of pork, and some delicious kimchee. The broth was appropriately creamy and spicy. Date had the shoyu ramen ($16) We ordered a roll with Hokkaido scallops for good measure, and were not disappointed. Will definitely be back to try the other ramens. Location in the University Village makes it particularly convenient. It's a popular shopping center but Parking is usually findable.

Delicious quality ramen. I normally prefer chicken or even beef broths but theirs is made with pork but is silk, lightly creamy, flavorful and savory. Their noodles are thin with a delicate chew. The only con I would say is I wish there was more veggies it was more of a garnish. 4 pieces of menma to the whole bowl. But still very delicious! Also enjoyed the taiyaki! I ordered from Uber eats and they called me to confirm some modifications which is good customer service to me!

I enjoyed my experience here overall. The staff was very friendly and attentive, maybe a little too attentive while attempting to have a conversation but that's okay. I noticed in previous reviews that people mentioned the service could be better, so they obviously were trying to improve. For drinks I went with the hot sake since it was a chilly evening. Yum! I ordered the Vegetarian Ramen for my meal, which includes soy based vegan broth with menma, kikurage mushrooms, soy sauce marinated fu (wheat gluten) and umeboshi. I'm not sure what some of those ingredients are, but it was tasty enough! Was it the best veggie ramen? No, but I was content. The prices are pretty standard given the location, and the restaurant was mostly full! I'd come back again if a friend/date/family member wanted to, although I'd also like to explore more ramen spots around Seattle, since I've only tried out a few so far.

We had high hopes for Hokkaido Ramen. It's quite busy and there is a waitlist system on weekend evenings, so we hoped it would be good. It's nice to walk around UVillage after joining the waitlist, and to get updates on the status of your table. However, the food was not very good. It's edible at best. We tried sushi rolls, appetizers, and of course - ramen. I appreciate that you can customize the size and amount of meat in your ramen bowl, and there are a few different ramen styles. The ramen was fine - the broth was fine but nothing special. You have to add on egg. The sushi was not that good - all of the rolls come with cream cheese which I thought was odd. We asked for a Vegas Roll (salmon and crab) with no cream cheese. The roll barely had any salmon! We also ordered the pork belly buns - there was so much bun (that was also very dried out) and barely any pork -- I would 100% avoid that. The service was odd - we ordered appetizers and an entree but all the food came out at once. Wouldn't come back here, plenty of other options in Uvillage and plenty of better ramen around the neighborhood.
